What a day man! I loved my jet boats fishing all over Missouri, it was necessary to get back in the slack water and for duck hunting. Speaking of ducks, you should try doing some Cast'N"Blast fishing trips. We use to do those back in Mo and I do them here in Co. Only problem is back in Mo, you latch onto a friggen decent blue just as the ducks start piling in, so it's fight this fish, or call and blast some ducks and hope the fish stays on lol.

I feel like you really need to venture over to PA and check out the Susquehanna. We catch 10-15 flatheads on an average night and you can expect 20-30s with the real possibility of 40s and 50s. It’s a magical place
Carp,Buffalo and gar is what we call hard targets . Catfish are soft targets and should if set correctly show as a different color as the hard targets. The air bladder on a Catfish will show as a hard target response not the rest of it so that can help to tell the difference of what your seeing. I've noticed that on the traditional sonar, but side scan is where I'm not sure. Maybe I'll have to start driving over the top of them too when scanning for a tournament. Thanks for the idea and thanks for the luck!

Theres one cove we used do go in with the old Evinrude just above idle and those silver caro would jump everywhere and my buddy would stand on the front if the boat with 12 gauge shooting them. Skeet aint got nothing on silver carp😲. Theres something about fiah on the big crick that makes em pull like no where else. Sonar is hard to decipher which is which cus the mix together at certain times and not at others. You're learning. Datswhatsup. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
It's crazy to imagine someone teeing up on some silvers, but after fishing that river more and more I can see it. Fishing the new water is for sure addictive. Hopefully I can figure out the flatheads a little. Gonna put in some time this week on em.

They have small dry tubs for food like buns an bread at the ol wally world aka Walmart that can fit in day packs or camping bag an there affordable an having a vacuum sealer is where it's at make full meals before trip seal it an warm up later

I use dead down wind concentrate packets for the gas problem. Hands down the best stuff to use to get rid of the gas smell.
