Nobody plays this the way you do. I can't find the words to describe it, but those inflexions, twiddles, unexpected turns... astounding. Beautiful. Thank you.
I can feel how much the pianist has worked to give a meaning to every single note-idea-phrase-section. The result sounds to me as an incredible mix of French Baroque, Russian school, old harpsichord traditions and ultramodern piano sound. It's Art about Art! This version has definitely become my favourite.
Add to the mix its origin: Rameau heard a troupe of real natives of what was then French Louisiana, who had been brought to Paris, perform one of their traditional dances. This civilised rondeau is probably a long way from the original, but something authentic survives in the rhythm.
My heart is throbbing as I heard the first time in my life someone, who has similar understanding of music as me. Treat entire peace as requiring articulation. If you play ta Ta taa ta, do that with segments of piece. And be even more wild, embrace some madness. Wish you the very best, with love to fellow brethren soul
Katarina, I listened carefully to your interpretation. It is interesting, with a lot of ornaments, tempo and technique. It is very fresh and certainly cannot be compared because she approached it as a piano performer. Rameau on the harpsichord is different from the piano. The composition is baroque and the tempo changes are not as radical as in your interpretation. But if you understand this song as a dance from an opera, then the interpretation is great. And the approach to ornaments is absolutely correct, because baroque artists often added ornaments to their works as part of improvisation that are not in the musical notation. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for further interpretations. The world today needs artists with a personal interpretation.
Well, I keep coming back to your videos, and confirming my previous comment, that is "you are my new favorite pianist"... I wish you were my teacher. Well anyway, you can regard this as a request but, I think, if there is a person in the world who should play "L'aimable" by Royer, it is you... And you are very "L'aimable" as well :))
Thank you. Yes, I am familiar with this feeling when I listen to someone, I often hear trills in other places. But perhaps this is a reason to think about playing this play after a while, looking at it from a different angle.
Thank you for your comment. Actually I don’t understand why people write words like these. What result do you want to get? Is it pleasure? If you don’t like my baroque technique, don’t listen. If you listen to Rameau only to count all ornaments, poor you. The same thing with, for example, Liszt’s Mephisto waltz: do we need this piece, if we count clean octaves? But what about music? And notice that all live recordings of all pianists are unique, because it’s the only moment.
@@KaterinaKolpakova sorry if I offended you (and maybe not) but if you show your work on the Internet then you should be prepared to all sorts of comments and that has nothing to do with counting the ornaments : it seems that you also don't have the ears of a musician sry

no hard feeling, no, but were you there , in Rameau's tumes??I wasn't either! Performer's freedom!! besides that, this music, ,in the original ballet, is not especially "sensual", but very "violent" , on the contrary!
Remarquable interprétation, sans dentelles ni crème Chantilly! Tolle Interpretation, klar, ohne süßliche Zugabe. Bravo.
J'aime beaucoup PH Rameau et j'adore votre interprétation qui me perce par votre sensibilité
Il faut dire que votre interprétation est parmi une de mes préférés de ce morceau. Un grand bravo, vous faites honneur à la musique.
Beautiful and unique phrasing and ornamentation, enjoyed the rendition very much.
Wow! I am so impressed with this work I have heard many times before.
Thank you, i’m pleased!

Superbe encore !

Beautiful!
Great bass, great adds to the original work.
génial...
Катька клёвая!! Слушаю и кайфую... Почему так мало просмотров?
A mon sens, les compositeurs de musique baroque commencent seulement à être appréciés par le grand public.
Great, interesting, different than others
Amazing !

Ouf 💥♥️
Brilliant!
Thank you)

You are so good.
👍👏👏👏
Superb! Your ornaments and articulations are perfection and the tempo is right for me. Keep well. :-)
Good job
Nice! Thanks.
Maybe this is how Rameau himself played it! 😃👍
Лучше всех!
yep... perfect

I still believe that she's agressive with the clavature.
Good. But I kinda feel the trills were not played in full.

Sokolov more better
Thank you for comparing with him.
