Before the first note there is reality; after the last note, reality returns. But in between... a place and time where we all yearn to be in our imaginations. Utterly beautiful.
@@KaterinaKolpakova I'm new to Rameau. Discovered him only recently through "forets plaisibles" - so many variations. Whatever you play, I anticipate it will be brilliant. Good luck.
Agree. This music transports your mind to another place in time. It could either be from the time period of the Egyptians or just 18th century France. The listener dreams of places, the music is the place of dreams!
You have such an exquisite facility for baroque music. Your performances invite reflection and are an enviable mix of mathematical precision and elegant emotion. Congrats on the glasses.
Thank you! It’s so pleasant to read these words. These pieces are with me now for the rest of my life, I will play them again and again, rethink and finish. But I am very happy that you like my view of Rameau.
Thank you for these words, for your listening and attention! Yeah, we’re living in difficult and complicated time.. I’m good! But i became a mother and spend all my time at home with my 8 months baby, and he needs me first time a lot🙈 So my creative plans are paused for the moment, but when my son grows up a little, i will have more free time for preparing my recordings and continue my concert performances. And of course i continue to do my music, i miss it! Hope you are well! And hope to play for you soon.)
This is like being pointed to Billie Eilish early on. She and her brother revolutionized what is expected from pop music. I've had to go back and listen to these piano pieces a second time to appreciate what K is doing. A suggestion: do put up more videos and widen your offerings. For example the Philip Wesley pieces may not deserve you, but I can only imagine what they would sound like with your skill set. He does have an online following....
I'm so glad I found your channel! You play so beautifully! I love baroque music too, I hope one day you will share with us your interpretation of Rameau's La Villageoise. Thank you for your music!
You probably dont care but if you are bored like me atm then you can watch all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Have been watching with my gf these days =)
Grigory Sokolov joue ce morceau en 3:19 et Katerina Kolpakova en 2:31 : la vitesse n'est pas synonyme de virtuosité , et pourtant la jolie Katerina n'en est pas dépourvue !
Only beauty!! Cristal sound, articulation, modesty and nostalgy in one. Bravo
Well done.
This music made me very happy.
fantastic rendition. absolutely superb. Thank you. ❤
Love the dynamics. Very well played. Could not find a harpsichord version that satisfied my search. But this one on piano is spot on.
It's so enchanting. The minor key ends in in a major key, the major key ends in a minor key. Beautiful.
Merci...infiniment...❤
Love, love, LOVE this performance. Brava!!!!

Великолепно акцентированние фразы, очен понравилос, ❤❤❤❤, не обежаисья но мэтром в испольнении рамо для меня всё ровно остаётсья Григорий Соколов
Isn't Rameau supposed to be played on a harpsichord?

Excellent interpretation but perhaps it lacks of ornamentations. You could add some more, especially for such a piece.
Shit
toooo FAST LET IT FLOW DON'T RUN LET IT FLOW AND BLOSSOM MORE PRACTICE....
Wspaniałe brzmienie i artykulacja
Piękne wykonanie.
