@@mayhem5235 Well, the difference is that T&L and Ark are not developed by them, they have a Korean developer which makes them P2W, but at least every feature works. NW is developed by them, hence half the features don't work or partially work.

All the interest I have seen is from people who already own/play New World on PC, and who think they can convince their friends to buy the game on consoles.
I've seen interest from both console and PC players to hop on console version. People are full of doom and gloom, the game has been going to shit since launch. Yet people are interested. The game will either be a shitshow like always when October patch hits, or the game might actually finally have a future. Fucking done with people doom posting a game that they state that they hate. Let people play it if they enjoy it, you're just acting as a shitstain that doesn't come off easily.
New World has already exhausted all the interested players. Remember years ago when they ran free to play weekends and no one played? There's tons of free games available, but are they worth the time and energy to play once people realize all the bad reviews?
I think the lack of accepted keys is down to no advertising. Im actually interested in the game for console and i wasnt aware they were giving out beta keys. If this was advertised on my xboxs homepage somewhere, i would have definitely tried it out.
As much as this game isnt much loved by anyone as it used too I still love this game just because its unique from the other MMO's I used to play. Got my key for the beta and such; plus me and my coworker are quite happy to play together when it comes out for xbox but hey thats just me though, I still enjoy New World
hey if you still find joy and satisfaction in playing, please get some extra for me i unfortunately struggle to enjoy playing it anymore and i really wish i didn't feel that way because it really was such a pleasant game to play, going mining and chopping down some trees but unfortunately the late game and the pvp aspects are what hurt my enjoyment and ultimately all of the pvp gear/weapon artifacts having near incompletable quests to unlock all the perks
what's amazing is how nobody in leadership, if you even want to call it that hasn't got shut down or fired. job security is nice at AGS. even when you're grossly incompetent.
As a former PC player of New World, I am planning to play on console but I have seen ZERO mentions of New World coming to console other than via word of mouth. There is ZERO advertising, zero visibility on console that this is even coming…… I think THIS is the major reason for lack of beta testers…. I have NO idea there was a beta ….

The saddest part is how for the beta there’s water marks and how we’re being told not to share any gameplay online is crazy when it’s a old game like I’m happy consoles are getting some mmo’s especially this one I enjoyed the beta on ps5 and still gonna be enjoying it up until the last day of the beta just wish so much more for this game once it’s full released since they having all this nda behind the beta

Sucks if it ends up not being popular for console. My only comment on this is that I would expect most people would be signing up through the New World website and got their key from there. Not some random article that they only provided a direct link to today.
AGS failed to realize a few things. All gamers watch a video or 2 before jumping into a new game because the gaming market these days is terrible and most games come broken. Player counts affect new players greatly and last but not least game play reviews play a massive role in desire to try a new game.
The sad thing is, new world combat is going to be much better than throne and liberty but I will be playing throne instead. new world leadership is the worst I have ever seen. They had a gem and ruined it.

Homies put the bow fix in every patch for the last 6 patches. Crazy how they said they will focus on fixes until October, and we got 7 fixes in 2 months. Either the release is not even half ready, or they took a vacation until October, not that they would actually work at AGS, it's just a money laundry studio.
4:08, if people don't want to be alpha/beta testers they shouldn't buy or play NW. NW is a endless alpha version of a potentially good game. Mayabe the alpha ends in Oct 15 and we'll finally be in beta version? (I highly doubt tho)

Been playing the closed beta on console. I ended up joining the beta through the xbox insider program, so I didn't use a key. Overall, I've been having fun exploring the world. The story is whatever, the combat and leveling is interesting. Tho the NPC look horrible. It feels like they just used the random button on create a character and said good enough. Gonna keep playing through, but gonna wait on spending 60 bucks when it comes out later this year.

They need to pull out 2 brimstonesandslike free expansions, 3 new maps for pvp arenas anda another 3 for outpostrush and polish the game from the ground up. Artifacts are fun but they need to be on the backburner because of their disruptive nature to balance and possibility for new bugged interactions or worst bad design from the start (looking at you Anhk and shierking heals meta)

Console players are hungry for a new mmorpgs, we will be cautious at first. Blue Protocol, Chrono Odyssey, Throne & Liberty or New World one of them has to be good. Personally Throne and Liberty has my vote so far, f2p and not p2w. You have a choice if you want to buy cosmetics. Open world, no portals, you see it you can explore it. It has potential if chrono odyssey doesn't crush it.
If that's 300k with just PC, then no.... it's not destroying every mmo game. Games like FFXIV have way more active players than that across (xbox, PC, PS5, PS4)

Yet another MMO ruined by mismanagement and lack of proper focus/long-term goals. And, in this case in particular, somehow constantly fixing-then bringing back bugs. The number of times various bugs have come-gone-returned etc. (or "fixed" but not actually fixed) is astounding and shows how they are a poorly run team and how the underlying design must be poor to bad. Finally, yet again, such a shame when we have a great looking world, good combat and many other good elements... this is right now a solid+ MMO that should be really enjoyable to play to a chunk of the MMO community... so very frustrating.
I'm no expert in gaming industry but somehow this game genre never seemed to me as console game. Also there is overlap with this game genre players in owning both PC and console so the ones who would be into it most likely have already played it on PC. This is what I think. There will be some of those who fall to that ARPG claim and then go wtf when they enter the game. Maybe they don't care about that so much and keep on playing but consoles are to my understanding very fast paced on the side of switching to the latest trending game so I wouldn't assume many console gamers who end up in New World to stick there long enough. But hey, devs did burn the bridges with PC players and made it certain that most will never come back. That is quite an achievement. Unfortunately New World had much promise but devs totally failed to capitalize on it.

Throne and Liberty is a real blast, but it is flooded with useless micro-step systems (systems that can be removed and not change the game). Hope they westernize it a bit for NA Regions.

I don’t understand. If they are so worried about how many sign ups they have for a beta test, why do a convoluted way for a console player to download the beta? Just have MS and Sony throw up the beta on their stores. It’s free anyway. Honestly, who cares? Why are people so hellbent on seeing it's destruction? Why doesn't anyone want to see the game get better? I mean, I get that some people are bitter betty's but come on. If you enjoyed something, it can be enjoyed again if it's fixed. Maybe scott will step down or be forced to step down if things don't improve and just maybe we will see a change for the better? PTR testing and genuinely listening to feed back hasn’t been a thing

imagine ignoring PC players for over 1 year, bcuz "console is this shit". And now no one is taking free keys and the game have 3000-4000 players active.
Console players are hungry for a new mmorpgs, we will be cautious at first. Blue Protocol, Chrono Odyssey, Throne & Liberty or New World one of them has to be good. Personally Throne and Liberty has my vote so far, f2p and not p2w. You have a choice if you want to buy cosmetics. Open world, no portals, you see it you can explore it. It has potential if chrono odyssey doesn't crush it.

If that's 300k with just PC, then no.... it's not destroying every mmo game. Games like FFXIV have way more active players than that across (xbox, PC, PS5, PS4)
@@StrikerTVFang FF14 don't disclose their players numbers online tbh, it could be 1k or 1mil, it is all speculation. You cannot compare players online in a day to copies sold.

Yet another MMO ruined by mismanagement and lack of proper focus/long-term goals. And, in this case in particular, somehow constantly fixing-then bringing back bugs. The number of times various bugs have come-gone-returned etc. (or "fixed" but not actually fixed) is astounding and shows how they are a poorly run team and how the underlying design must be poor to bad. Finally, yet again, such a shame when we have a great looking world, good combat and many other good elements... this is right now a solid+ MMO that should be really enjoyable to play to a chunk of the MMO community... so very frustrating.
I'm no expert in gaming industry but somehow this game genre never seemed to me as console game. Also there is overlap with this game genre players in owning both PC and console so the ones who would be into it most likely have already played it on PC. This is what I think.
There will be some of those who fall to that ARPG claim and then go wtf when they enter the game. Maybe they don't care about that so much and keep on playing but consoles are to my understanding very fast paced on the side of switching to the latest trending game so I wouldn't assume many console gamers who end up in New World to stick there long enough.
But hey, devs did burn the bridges with PC players and made it certain that most will never come back. That is quite an achievement. Unfortunately New World had much promise but devs totally failed to capitalize on it.
I beg to disagree Ive played Elder scrolls online for 10 years on xbox, New world is similiar and i have a slight interest in it but as i have no key despite signing up I wont be caring about it anymore
Over a year of no content but somehow they decided to focus all their efforts in a console port that nobody is gonna play lol😂 as much as I wanted new world to improve and be so good I’m kinda glad to see what’s happening now. These meerschaum can’t just do what they want and not listen and get away with it 💀 LOTR boutta get canceled again😂

The worst part about New World being dead is that you and Jay Oddity are getting the shit end of the stick. I come back to keep giving you two my views in hopes the game, or another one takes off for you two to get into.
Throne and Liberty is a real blast, but it is flooded with useless micro-step systems (systems that can be removed and not change the game). Hope they westernize it a bit for NA Regions.

One thing that you VERY briefly stated but basically glazed over, how many keys were there to begin with? if there were 1 million keys then there is actually a large amount of players coming. Please do better at giving all of the details not just what is going to help your click bait.
I don’t understand. If they are so worried about how many sign ups they have for a beta test, why do a convoluted way for a console player to download the beta? Just have MS and Sony throw up the beta on their stores. It’s free anyway. The average console player isn’t going to want to go to a random site, make an account, get the key, go to their console and put it in. That or they just don’t know there even is a beta to begin with lol. Their thought process is mind boggling. Or they just don’t care about that market. Lol

The problem with the beta/test is that PS5 keys can not be claimed in A LOT of EU counties and the Xbox test access is for US ONLY.

Honestly, who cares? Why are people so hellbent on seeing it's destruction? Why doesn't anyone want to see the game get better? I mean, I get that some people are bitter betty's but come on. If you enjoyed something, it can be enjoyed again if it's fixed. Maybe scott will step down or be forced to step down if things don't improve and just maybe we will see a change for the better? Either way, I want to see the game get better. I found it's combat a lot of fun and a big change from every other cookie cutter WOW clone out there.

I don't understand the people who still play NW, are they blinded? ... that game is 3 meters underground... there is no support, technicians or moderators to fix this... it is a total failure.
devs are completely against their own game since start of the current season, new world is the only mmo interesting me, but they completely killed the community in the game and vanished every improvements, this huge shift in marketing / informations / new stuff in a service game will hurt basically the same way as they killed game launch
i really hope they maintain the game, but all of these bad choices look very bad, i start to be even disgusted to have played rerolls fo rthe reworked story, as they "reworked and finalised/polished" entirely the main questline again... and i dont have free slot anymore :(
