if you you have the 10" coil that is fine, if you can hit the dry sand areas where people sit (obvs Summertime) and keep hold of the cash you find the go for the 12" coil later in the year or the 8" Depends on what type of wet area it is (just sand or Rocks) the 8" coil will be better in rocks
It was good to hear more of the sounds Paul, don’t think I would have dug as many of the targets as your mate did. The machine certainly seems more than capable in the wet sand. Is the Vanquish calibrated so the vdu numbers correspond to those on the Nox for the same targets?
they beauty of knowing good targets fall in the same as general junk, its tougher doing the tide line as thin ring pulls and aluminium all get washed up and settle there as its aimed at the entry level its set up in 5 tones to make the transition to the Equinox in the future should owner wish to upgrade an easy upgrade.
Where is your pinpointer man 🤷 Wow those were some hard holes to dig with packed sand and rocked locations on that beach 😲 That was so cute with the wee one 🤗
Happy to see you help the children to experience MDing. Happy to see it & it tested & it seeming to handle the wet sand (did it false a lot?) & the detector is very good looking! Frustrated as it appears to be a very shallow depth detector, except on larger targets, which is surprising for Minelab, because Minelab has such a good reputation for their knowledge to create some pretty deep detectors, in highly mineralized wet salt sand beaches & inland. If it is a shallow detector, that would repeatedly greatly, frustrate me & make me think of the time I am wasting & deeper ground coverage I am missing, going over the deeper targets, and I think for sure at some point, the user of this detector will grow to not want to use it for the same reason, thinking of all they are missing. I love Minelab detectors the most, and Minelab knows how to create deep detectors, so I can't see why they wouldn't make the detector go deeper. Sorry for the not so positive parts of my comments. The first detector I ever got I was so excited to get, but then so unexcited to use after learning it couldn't detect very deep, so I never used it again, and felt it was just wasted money & time, but my dad didn't know anything about better & deeper detectors. This was way back & the Vanquish is deeper than that cheap detector was. Thanks very much, for showing the Vanquish.
always have to help the next generation come along its not a shallow detector it was just there was to much small aluminium washed up, got good results on the wet sand a fields for depth...
Nice seeing the Claret Garrett on an outing plus the new generation of detectorists :) Out on my fav beach tomorrow too see what Ciara has stirred up :) HH Mal
Paul, to be fair to Buster, your not supposed to go in first with the NOX or CTX & clean out the good stuff. LOL LOl Lol lol Nice that the kid found a coin, get them going young. I enjoyed the different point of view camera angels. GL&HH
Good day! just a little advice my friend buy ur self a Good Pointer you would save so much time cause i think i would do 3 - 4 shovel faster then you i am sure using my pointer ! Good Luck and hope you find incredible stuff ! Frankk
@@paulcee naw, just taking it easy for six weeks after stepping in a hole and going down on my left knee. Been watching a lot of vids on my ROKU. nice of you to put those bright yellow boots on your buddy so you can keep an I on him🤭
Nice one Paul. The Vanquish sounds good in the wet and dry. Is Buster still digging that deep iron one btw. The local competition could be keen this year hehe.
I didnt tell him whats down there 🤣🤣 i tried to dig it years ago.. for sure the summer is going to be hard work i think Neil. Once buster gets his head around how to sort the settings up and save them he'll be away he already loves it..
so...your sand scoop/screen, I have the same one but my handles keep breaking (hickory)...what is that handle you have?? Fiberglass?? Please advise...tired of breaking handles!!

Paul could you please tell buster to get a Pinpointer, lol.
Looks great Paul, looking forward to getting my 440 from CMD👍🏼
Hey Paul enjoy your videos. Just got my vanquish 440 this week and was wondering what is the best coil to use on the beach? Mine came with a 10” dad.
if you you have the 10" coil that is fine, if you can hit the dry sand areas where people sit (obvs Summertime) and keep hold of the cash you find the go for the 12" coil later in the year or the 8" Depends on what type of wet area it is (just sand or Rocks) the 8" coil will be better in rocks
Thank you so much for the information
No problem, the coin count will soon add up
