Sorry for your loss, that's a hard call to make even when you know it the best call for your cat.

Sorry to hear that Paul. My friend experienced the same thing with his cat. It happens that something sad happens and we loose enthusiasm and energy to do things, but you got to take care of yourself first, and i am sure you will find a way to come back doing videos as you did before,if you like doing it. I want also to thank you so so much for all the Morini videos you did. Thank to you i was able to open the side cover of a morini and put in place the kickstarter mechanism and dismantle the starter motor, and started this bike again for my friend. Thank you so so much.

A lot of people don't get how hard it is to lose a longtime pet. Hang in there, Paul. I think the folks who've been watching you for a while will understand the pause.

Sorry to hear that Paul, sounds like he enjoyed a good innings and was obviously very loved. It's a hard hard decision I know.

Sorry to hear about your wee moggy Paul. we had the exact same issue and same outcome a couple of years ago so I understand.
Doesn't make it any easier though.

There is nothing harder than taking a long loved friend and companion to be put down.
I have had to do this awful thing twice.
It doesn't help knowing it is better than letting them suffer either.
Just remember the good times mate.

    Hi Paul,
I've just joined your Channel a few weeks ago and found this message from a year ago. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that you are feeling better now.
I'm a recent Morini 3 1/2 Strada owner (a 1982 electric start model) and was suggested your Channel by MRC members here in the West Country. Are you still doing Morini work ? I'm discovering many little jobs I will need to do to keep my 3 1/2 on the road.
The first seems to be swinging arm bushes - there seems to be a small about of play - not side movement of the arm itself.
The second thing I've noticed is movement or wobble in the Tacho mechanical drive elbow as it comes out of the LHS engine cover and wild swinging of the Tacho needle when motor is idling, It smooths out as the revs rise.
Do you have any comments or insights on any of the above issues that you can share ?
Many thanks again for your excellent videos on starter motor and clutch rebuild in particular,
    regards from Sam Trenchard

I'm trying to avoid working on other people's stuff. Too busy with my own. My swing arm solution is a stainless pin and PTFE bushes. Normally PTFE would be too soft, but the Morini bushes are 50mm wide. I go for a stiff push fit of the pin into the bushes. You end up with a zero maintenance solution.
