Your video popped up and subscribed as well, we are from wv and we drove over 4 hours to go to same dealership to get a sxs there, they seemed like good people and called and seen how we liked the sxs and if we ever had any problems let them know. And glad they made it right with you guys especially the 2.5 hr drive one way 😊
Yea I wud be scared of that new kohler personally cause I’ve not seen a lot of them, I went with the 37hp vanguard on my z3x 52 I just got last summer. But kohler didn’t just start making engines, I got a 1977 legit lawn tractor John Deere 214 at my house with the kohler on it
I bought a Vride the first year they were offered with a 52" deck. It was supposed to be a "new" machine other than the 5.5 hours on it from various demo's it was used for. I tested it out for 2 days and then bought it with a slight price break for the hours. For the next 1.5 years It ran like a top and other than following the grease, oil and filter schedule and servicing the blades I had no other problems or extra work. I have had excellent service with Kawasaki engines. All 3 of my Scags have FS730V's on them. Now, If you are reaching for your keyboard to tell me about issues with the valves or a bent valve push rod and/or rockers on Kawasaki 2 cylinder motors? Don't bother. Clean under the ^^#%! fan shroud every year like the manual says! Then the fan can do it's job and your motor wouldn't over heat and hose your valve train, Lol. (That paragraph is gonna make a few people really mad, but?_) At that 1.5 year mark, one of my guys says that "The Vride doesn't seem to have as much power going up hills?" so at the next location, I got on and started cutting and sure enough, it seemed to lag like it was dragging extra weight behind it on most grades? So I called my dealer and mentioned what was going on and they told me to bring it in. I dropped it off, loaded the loaner up and left. I got a call a few days later telling me it was fixed. I asked what the deal was? Told me I would be shown when I picked it up- no charge for anything? The next day I went in and everything associated with the hydro's, the pumps, motors, hoses, filters and drive belt were brand new! The original setup had 10cc pumps and now it had 12cc units! Seems a pump went out, put shrapnel in the oil and it destroyed everything? I didn't think much about until a buddy mentioned that each side of the hydro's are basically isolated from each other and debris from one side would have a hard time getting in the other? Hmmmmm........... Long story short, I was told when I bought it that the dealer registered the machine and warranty for me with Scag and I should ONLY call the dealer for any issue that I may ever have and they would take care of it. Well, It seems that the frame was welded up, reinforced and repainted where the engine deck meets the upright portions on both sides before I bought it. Only saw the difference in the frame when I looked online. The unit must have broke on one of the demos and they (dealer) repaired it and then sold it to me instead of losing money selling it as refurbished? Scag may have even been in on it? I have no proof though? No matter, it is still running today, along with 2 other Tiger Cubs and it was the only thing that I have ever dealt with in over 10 years when it comes to issues on them. I guess we all know that any money gained by doing the repair thing was lost by the dealer in labor and parts? To be honest, there is a chance that nothing was ever wrong in the first place and the power of suggestion made me think it was dragging on grades? The day I went to it check out was the first time I had used that machine in over 10 months. My other 2 guys that use it on a regular basis said they didn't think there was anything wrong? Who knows? I do know that we are thinking about getting another one as the first one has a LOT of hours on it and it does work well in certain situations. We also have two 48" Exmark hydro walk behinds we bought used from our Friends at Brickman (Or is Merit this week? Lol) and those machines are also great. Buying any machine new or used is like going to Los Vegas? Maybe you will get lucky and then again, maybe you wont? place your bets and roll those dice LMAO!
Certain Kawasaki have problems with voltage regulator I'm in stl mo someone bought 10 stinger aerators dealers cant sell them or mowers with problems with Kawasaki engine have kholer efi never had issue Kawasaki use oil
I like exmark but the dealers here suck. We have been running scam past 5+ years first time issue probably because we drive far and didn’t buy close but it was like 2k cheaper
Pffft, bought two new exmarks from 2 different dealers 3 years ago, and both had problems...pulleys popping off, battery charging issue, fuel overflowing the carb, belts popping off, failing e brakes, and a few other things I don't remember. For the first season both the 60 and the 30 visited the shop more times than the ols used mowers I used to buy.... "no problem" 😂😂🤣🤣🙄
Kholer engine uses plastic wear in the cam-sham shaft that breaks down in time, it cost me $650 to get it fix after warranty expires.
I worry about that time will tell. Our other mowers have kawi and Briggs

Buy exmark and no problem.
I like exmark but the dealers here suck. We have been running scam past 5+ years first time issue probably because we drive far and didn’t buy close but it was like 2k cheaper
Glad the dealer was big enough to swap mowers, it's never good to start with a problem day one. Have a good season. Concord nc

Scag are garbage!
so are fords but i still own one lol
It’s the dealer who are the biggest problem with trying to get repairs and warranty, plus untrained mechanics or just kids
