The intros with host (and Essence Magazine editor) Susan Taylor were filmed at NATPBE in Houston and offers a survey of the history of African-Americans in American TV. Im 38 years of age, and remember the '80s, '90s television like it were yesterday. The great thing in my opinion about that era of television, is the fact that technology wasn't as advanced as now 2018, were TV was a family thing. Programs like the Cosby Show and other black casted shows were great for African American Culture.
Brings back memories. wonder if any Ebony tv show reels are still out there?
