As a former female high school athlete thank you for standing up and trying to protect girls who love sports like I did! But it’s not just athletes that deal with this my daughter who has to deal with this foolishness daily! Now her all girls show choir is no longer all girls! My middle school son will now never know what it’s like to be in an all boy’s choir, which specifically helps them develop their range!

I hear you and feel your pain. Thankfully, here in Sydney, my kids are at single sex schools and don't face such issues. However, an old friend of mine has sung in a Sydney mens' barbershop choir for over 40 years. Last year they were accused of not being inclusive and instructed to enrol women, some of whom are trans.
None of the new non-male members are particularly good singers and now the repertoire has been changed (they can't handle the traditional pieces), the whole feel and comraderie is different and the audience won't get to hear a mens' choir again. So sad. I can only imagine the militant types who would want to join in this fashion. Could mean the end of this choir.

Thank you Senator Hawley!! I was also a female athlete throughout school. My 16 year old has been playing volleyball since she was 5 years old and now looking to play in college. She will not be playing against any males no matter what! If the opposing team has a male from this woke crap, then she will not be playing. Sad that these girls who work so hard get their future taken away in an instant for such stupidity.

Had an Arabic girl walk past me and call me a stupid Jew on campus at CCBC in Essex Maryland and I’m not even Jewish. If I were to say something back I would be charged with a hate crime because I’m white. I’m over the double standards in society. As a white female with brown hair and brown eyes I feel discriminated against daily, in finding employment, on campus, and out in public. It’s because people assume I’m Jewish when in fact my ancestry traces back to Europe, Italy, Ireland, and Cherokee and probably other places too. Anti Semitism is real and it’s happening all across America.

I would have appreciated if Senator Hawley had brought up the story about the male swimmer who transitioned and announced he would be joining the Roanoke College swim team a couple of weeks ago. The athletic department at Roanoke College basically told the team they had to accept it and not complain. Same case as Riley Gaines and William Thomas. The only difference was the whole team stood together (unionized) and said no. Roanoke College's position from testimony of the swimmers was they would rather be an inclusive and accepting institution and have a single transgender athlete than a whole team of women athletes who were "haters". The team looked to the NCAA rules for protection and found them unclear as they allowed for males to compete in female sports so long as they transitioned before a certain age or their testosterone levels were below a certain level. Roanoke College and the NCAA left these women to hang out and dry as they received insults from woke politicians and the like. The male swimmer would have been in violation in either case and in the end he retracted his application to join the team. The Chairman's answer was unacceptable, athletes need to compete under the sex of their biological birth.

*POINT OF IMPORTANCE*- I am sure that the majority of college campuses in this country have a building called the Student Union Building. All of the Universities that I have attended had such buildings. What is this Student Union that ALREADY exists? There HAS TO BE some sort of representative body that supports the Students when it comes to their rights of privacy and their defense against the tyrannical actions of the College and University Staff. This body should also be translated to those Students who fall under NCAA, or any other organization's, rule.

I left fidelis for the pure and simple Fact that I wanted to procure my own medical transportation rather than having someone making a deal by pre-arranging my medical transportation in Rochester New York that was one of my main questions that I asked United prior to signing up with them, since I've been with them months now I have not once been able to do that to get my own medical transportation how how convenient.
I believe schools have a duty to protect children on either side
