I think is generation thing. We (30+) grow up with PC in a corner , today 5-7 year olds are with iPads, so for them handhelds are next step in gaming setup
It’ll come down to what you are willing to spend and wait for. These new hand helds are months out where the ally x is here now. The newer Z2E chips will have between 15-30% more fps (on average probably 17-20%) but will probably cost $100-200 more then the ally x is now. If you can find a used ally x for between $500-600 that would probably be a better deal.
For the ALLY and thunderbolt. You can buy the thunderbolt controller from Intel, similar to what Apple does with their laptops. They can use thunderbolt without needing the Intel CPU. In theory you can still keep the ally with the Z2E and still have thunderbolt 5
Yesssss Podcast Andy!!!! The best kind 😊 glad youre feeling better. Omg!! Parappa the rapper 😂 old school! I know what you mean about boring ganes. U have to have sone of those. Im glad people are getting back into some single player ganes more lately.
I was playing on my Legion Go last night and I just happened to browse my achievement history on the Xbox app, going all the way back to the early days of the 360. Microsoft really needs to allow you to play your 'console' games on a capable PC device. Technically I don't know how that works, I guess in some kind of virtual machine, but with them de-emphasizing the hardware they need to make provisions for your old console digital games.
I think a PC handheld that has windows as its desktop experience and the Xbox console UI as its portable UI / experience. Keep it open as PCs normally are so you can get all the launchers(also make those launchers launchable from that portable UI) but on top of that if they can find a way to allow Xbox console users to access their libraries (not just the play anywhere games) from that device (as you said) I think this device would do so well.

We also grew up with handhelds... It's not a new phenomenon lol
Some of us grew up with a mixture of pc, console, and handheld
Do you still rec ally x over the legion go s windows and legion go 2?
@@SSSDarkgaming ALLY X over Go S, Go 2 over ALLY X, in terms of hardware at least

When a valve rep was asked about the SD 2 he said it was rheir number one project so there will definitely be a SD 2.
This was in one if the interviews i saw.
I'll be really excited to see what the SD2 brings.
It was in a PC World interview, but on top of the SD2, they're developing other hardware as well.
The marketing was so bad that tech review channels said that the base 499 steam os model had a z1e in it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣 we were trying to follow the release and everyone was saying different things. Bit of a mess
