Someone commented on my last FF video, asking if I was going to do anything special for the FFVII Remake - you better believe it! I have at least 3-4 FF7 vids planned for this year, and this is the first! I thought it would be best to release it while it's still winter time :) I hope you enjoy this cozy take on Buried in Snow from Final Fantasy VII!
I originally wanted to film this video LAST winter, as I thought it would be fun to film a vid in the actual snow - well, it never snowed LOL On our first (only?) snow day this winter, I spent about 3 hours outside with the camera capturing all this gorgeous nature footage...but I realized it would be physically impossible for me to handle playing the violin in the snow, so I started to think of what I could do instead....a cozy scene by a warm fireplace? But...I don't have one (lol) so I tried to figure out a way to make one instead...anyway, this was the most difficult set I've ever had to build for a video, but I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out!

When I was homeless for a while, I had a litle MP3 player that i'd have a few songs on like this to help me relax.
The song I would only play is this one, because every day was Cold. It kept my mind in a state in which the cold didn't bother me, but would only play it at night so I could fall to sleep.
There is an unmatched love for this piece that I sincerily appreciate you taking the time to remaster. Thank you so much.

Pretty sure you only hear it in the snow village by the Northern crater. And since it's an area with other people, you won't have to worry about getting into any battles.
@@Noel_2478 It also plays in Great Glacier. If you're going around the maze to get all of the items and secrets you're gonna hit a LOT of really jarring encounters. 😆 But yes, it also plays in the village. 😊

This song is kinda sad. This is the Icicle Town theme and there once lived Prof. Gast Gainsborough and her beloved Cetra, Ifalna, Aerith's mother. What happened to them was so tragic. :'(

What do you think about The Valkyrie in FF7R btw? (not asking for cover don't worry). I really fell in love with that one. I feel like from a violinist perspective it's so blissful to listen to.

Also if you don't mind, did you start playing piano or violin? I've got really soft fingers from playing piano and for me violin is really difficult but I feel it's good for getting better at recognizing notes by ear.
