Sepedi se re “Go sepela ke go di bona”. You are really brave, what an experience you had. Thank you sharing it with us & don’t give up on solo travel just yet😅
I wish the group tour had not been cancelled. You would have had a great experience with people from other countries. I did a solo trip to Thailand, it was a group tour. Loved every minute of it. I had realised that if I had gone and done those excursions by myself, I would have hated the trip. Sorry you had to go through all that. Don't give up on solo trips. They are the best.
Awww Sisi🥹 good to see you in these UA-cam streets💃Adventures are like that they don’t always go as planned but no one can take away the experience from you especially seeing how people from different places live🤗 keep exploring brave girl.. LOL@‘I’m ready to bounce’ you looked much brighter once you came down from the mountain sorry tle seeing your tears😪
I apologise for the inconveniences you faced - but your experience is captivating and the honesty is so appreciated I have seen travel vlogs but none compare to this - absolutely inspirational I always wanted an adventure like this didn’t think it was possible because I feared😂 but with this video as testament I’m going to the Arctic one day
This reminded me of my solo China expedition. I ended up having to sleep in a hostel with 8 other people. That's when I said never again to Asia😂😂😂, but I've been planning a trip to the Philippines (clearly haven't learned my lesson lol)
THE BEST TRAVEL VLOG I HAVE EVER SEEN...😂😂😂I know you had a lot of hiccups mma But your vlog was beautiful...felt Iike we was with you there..I got to appreciate the place through your eyes/lens... May God bless you with more...so you travel more😊😊😊😊
Hi Atli! 😃😃 My absolute favourite mo'ghel! Bathong I missed you so much, I am so glad you are back on these UA-cam streets. Shoo, the Himalayas ne...It did seem dry hey and the biggest disadvantage is that when it is winter, there's really nothing much one can do in terms of fun activities and historic monument tours because the temperatures are just too unbearable! I am glad that at least you got to go paragliding, but yeah, I agree with you that the rest of the trip really drained you because it was so empty with nothing to do or explore there other than endless driving to areas far away and the people there constantly charging you left right and centre for offering you nothing! I am just like you hey, always peaceful and trying hard to avoid conflict but when it comes to your money, please my babe you better speak up and fight for yourself and tell them that they're not getting a cent from you! There's absolutely nothing wrong with travelling alone Atli, in fact it is a MUST. Even though you're married, don't forget you're still an individual before you are a spouse and you do need time alone, explore things by yourself for yourself (As you always have when you were still single) because ME time is vital. This was just a bad experience, don't let it deter you from doing solo trips rather promise yourself that you will do more research next time to find an exciting travelling experience that will be worth every cent. Sepedi se re “Go sepela kego di bona”. - Tell yourself that at least you had an experience of what it is like at the Himalayas. The only way to know how it is/was there, was to of course travel there. Thank you so much for the vlog, I enjoyed it while sympathising with you throughout your discomforts 🫂. Keep your head up and take care always💐❤✨ Much Love #AtliXHimalayas
Heyy Atlegang, just finished watching the vlog 😂 it was good but you really did a whole lot of big mistakes 😂 but it happens and personally I totally understand, coz I'm a student here in India and also a travel vlogger here. 1. Ok, so the first mistake that happened was the tour package that you chose. It was of a place that was not really so interesting and I can tell not many foreign tourists visit Kasol and areas near Ladakh (it's just too dry), the normally visited places in Himachal Pradesh are Manali, Dharamshala, Kashmir & Shimla. The activities and the terrain there are way more interesting (skiing⛷trekking🏔🧗♀️ camping 🏕 etc), even the whole Tibetan & Buddhist🛕 culture which is more popular there. 2. The second thing ,which I really understand why it went like that is continuing with the tour package. If it was possible it would have been better to drop the tour company 😅 and go on solo🏃🏾♀️, it would have given u the chance on getting to research more on interesting places and trust me it would have been more adventurous💃🏾💫. 3. The third tip is on hotels, always book your hotels within a few hundred metres or a kilometre radius from your nearest bus 🚎 or train station 🚂 or just close to the airport ✈️Also don't book any hotel more than ₹2000 for a general room unless its a deluxe / luxury 🧖🏾♀️💆🏾♀️ room including breakfast and coffee stations, then yah u can pay 3k snd above and also always take note if the checkin times, coz for sure most will make you pay for early check in but can never of the same amount with the room price (that one wanted to scam you) it can be for at least ₹200 only. 4. Fourthly, the Northern part is never really good for luxury travelling always be ready to pull you boots 🥾 for some 🎒 backpacking. Just in general I don't think India strikes me as the country for any relaxed and luxury travelling, it's for serious but fun and adventurous backpacking coz India is big and has many beautiful places to visit. Coming to India is an adventure itself. But If you want to do some relaxed and chilled travelling with a mix of luxury, the best is South India. It's a whole different world there, the people there are different from people in the North, the culture, food is totally different and the vibe there is so lit 🏝🌊💫 The best states to visit there are Kerala and Goa. You will love it there! Otherwise, India is one of the cheapest countries ever to visit and it really pains me you didn't get to enjoy it fully with quite an amount of money that you had budgeted. Just give it another chance, I'm sure you will love it but come as a backpacker ready for adventure and with an open mind to anything. I'm also glad that you decided and you did step out of your comfort zone. Keep doing that we need that as for Africans, I can it was really brave of you to come to India coz it's usually a white guys thing and we want to change that narrative. It's high time we do scary stuff as a people.💫 Glad you came and gave it try. Feel free to reach out next time, if you decide to visit India again, I will be glad to assist in any way travel related 😊👍
Aahhh this is the best feedback. You are right. It was extremely dry 😂😂 I just couldn’t believe people live there. I’ve heard Goa is beautiful and regret not going there instead. You might have convinced me to try India one more time in future 😅 And you are right, India is white guy thing. All the research I did revealed that only white people do this, which is what sparked my interest. Thank you for this. It’s really helpful 😇✨
it is through these videos that we learn,SO thank you very much Your video is soo realistic and honest india is on my bucket list of travels ? why particularly did you choose the himlayas and how much did you spend overall
Hi Atlegang Sorry about your experience. I kinda see the logic of why you chose the Himalayas... always say I'll go but not sure after watching this 😂 I haven't seen the whole world but enough of it to tell you that the real gold (destination wise) is in Africa. Kenya for one should've been the destination not the connection 😂. Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia... Gemz. Northern Mozambique and Tanzania... Gemz! Even Mpumalanga alone. Gem. Anyway hopefully you look back on it and find some good in it. I hope you do more of this content but having a nicer time next time. Ask the subscribers for suggestions to places they've been perhaps and reliable contacts for tour guides, transport, accommodation, etc. We are a resourceful bunch. Take care
I just saw the video, from 0 to 57min. The trip was weird 😂. It's like you got lost or something. But it's fine...we live and we learn. Next time you know: India it's a no no area. And I would say: pick places that you know are within your comfort zone...but than again in life you never know...the good thing for me is it looked like you can adapt... which is very important in this life thing.. Congrats on the 20k subs 🤜🤛😉
I actually enjoyed the vlog hey and I’m not sure why lol but maybe it’s because I could empathise what you were doing through lol. It would’ve been nice to see your trip returning home 😂😂😂😂 oh, I don’t think travelling solo is not your thing… I just think it was just the place and the experience of it. Maybe try another place before you conclude that solo trips are not for you. Much love, Atli 🥰🥰🥰🥰 we’ve now seen the Himalayas ka wena and I’m good. Maybe try Japan next?
You're honestly very brave traveling to such places alone, Its a pity you didn't fully enjoy it, the only time you seemed happy was when you were paragliding and on your way back to SA😂😂 welcome back 😊🫶🫶
Hi Atlegang! Thanks for sharing your experience, i am curious though? Why did you choose to go at this alone? What could have made the experience more enjoyable for you?
Hello 😇 nothing could have made this better. Nothing! It was bad. 😅 I went alone coz I was the only one still on leave and my husband had to work unfortunately. That’s actually why I chose the destination. I thought it would make for a good solo trip. It was bad shem
At least you didn't look like your problems from this trip, on this trip pls 😂😂😂😂😂❤ (I knew things were getting desperate when you ordered the sushi😭I'm still so finished)
Maybe this particular experience wasn’t the best choice for a solo trip. I think the conditions made it worse especially the temperatures . The frozen waterfall was interesting Sorry for the not so great experience. Well done for doing the trip, one day you’ll look back and have interesting memories to share ❤
Aus’Atli, God must give me an impartation of your liver 🫁 because yhhhuuuu!. .. Hhhhhmmm! 🤧🫣 You are brave! ❤ Re leboga Modimo for His preservation o le kwa. 🫂
