It is fun how these changes are constantly amazing me! It is one of the reasons I still play and one of the reasons I find the game to be exciting and even fresh after all these years!!
That celebration poster looks so good! Also looking forward to DirectX11 for EQ2, which is coming in 2024 as well. I've been trying DX11 for EQ1 on Linux ever since it went live, and I can't really complain. It works out of the box, no tweaking necessary, better performance and loading times and no major issues from what I can tell. Ofc some folks are going to be experiencing some regressions here and there, but that is to be expected after such a huge upgrade, because make no mistake, porting over an old game to a more modern api is not as easy as it sounds (no flipping a switch type of thing). All major mmos that have done this were initially met with similar challenges down the road, and this is no different, but the hiccups some ppl are seeing right now will get ironed out eventually, and this change will benefit the game more in the long run as it'll broaden the horizon for more good things to come. To that end, Darkpaw did good all things considered and I for one applaud the fact that we're seeing all of these enhancements whether that's 64-bit, the new UI engine and its upcoming revamp, DirectX11 upgrades for both games AND new art plus tech to go along with the new DX11 api in the future = dedication and awesome quality of life improvements.
I love your videos! But for the love of God, please get some new intro/theme music. It just doesn't fit the high fantasy genre. Thanks for listening Fading :)
There's actually a good reason why I chose that song, that I hope to explain in an upcoming Behind-The-Scenes episode later this year. I do understand the sentiment, but I wanted to have an upbeat energetic feel to the show. And the song has settled in to where people (including myself) really enjoy it now.
What rule set is everyone hoping for , for the EQ1 TLP? I am hoping for a no-box but I doubt that will be a thing!
Thank you for keeping up with the news and tidbits of everything everquest!
Thank you fading! Keep doing what you do! We appreciate you!
Thanks for keeping us informed!
Thank you for the video. Great to keep a pulse on the games!

I love EverQuest
Thanks
Hopefully you dont forget the European Fans
I don't use spotify. Can I purchase the soundtracks as mp3, flac, or even a cd?
I'm running a 4070 TI and having huge performance issues. Still love the game I just hope they fox this.
Does the swag picture come in a cloth format like the original map?
At the current time, no that is not an option.
@@EverQuestShow I want to put in my wish list.
The date on the thumbnail is weird. I assume you meant to put it as day/month/year as it should be
I suspect you are probably in Europe/Britain?
In the US, typically, we do MM/DD/YYYY. However, in most of Europe it is DD/MM/YYYY.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_format_by_country
@@EverQuestShow That doesn't make any sense! Why would they do that?!
@@DolphLundgrensDolphinDungeon Why would you do it your way? It's all relative.
Swag store has too much EQ2 not enough EQ1 :(
Watch the video! The EQ stuff arrives in March!
I love EQ but this latest patch really screwed the game up for me. Choppy frames, lock ups and extremely dark.
Lol memories...train to zone 😅😅😅😅

Fair enough. Thanks for replying! @@EverQuestShow
