Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Candace! I am loving GAF/GAC! I do have a question and a slight complaint though. Why are they cutting out the line “the night when Christ was born” from the song “O Holy Night” in all the movies I’ve watched w it in them so far? It’s very distressing because the song is absolutely 100% supposed to be about Christ being born to this world to save us from death hell and the grave. The writers need to think more carefully about this. This is very sad to see happening. I made the change to GAF for a very specific reason and I need to know that the values are true and faithful ones. This world isn’t about us it’s ALL ABOUT JESUS. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Don’t let them make you “sell out” because Jesus never sold us out. Stand firm in your faith and keep the armor of God on at all times. My favourite Christmas present story:
A family friend told me the story of his grandmother, when she was a child (this would be in the 1910's), wanted a watermelon for Christmas! The problem was, they lived in New England USA, where the winters are very cold and watermelons were far from being in season. But his great grandfather (his grandma's dad) was a fruit seller, so he went to train yards where he bought his fruit (from southern USA) to sell and asked if on the next trip, they could being him a single watermelon. And they did! A Christmas miracle indeed! 😁😁😂🎅
