17yrs and I miss my mum everyday. I still think 'OH I must phone mum and tell her...' It becomes slightly dulled but never ends and that's a tribute to our mums 😘

Griffin looked like he had a great time at the jump place. When I was a kid and when I had kids we always put the tooth in a cup of water and in the morning was change in the cup of water.
I hope that you can get someone to be your respite person. That really helped me out and gave a break. Now every kid wants to lose a tooth in your house! So glad to see you are getting out with the kids and trying new things. That really helps everyone mental health and also socialization skills.

I’m happy for you that some respite care is (hopefully) coming together. I like your philosophy on the tooth fairy and telling the kids that it’s a game of pretend. That makes it a fun activity that everyone in the family is in on together, and no future trauma (however minor) in finding out it was not real. Seems very healthy.

I love that you are branching out from home. I think that’s helping Griffin with his behavior because now he isn’t cooped up in the house the change is more fun and I can see how well Sawyer is improving too. Sawyer is doing a good job listening and saying please when he wants something. Watching the boys is so much fun. My parents think the same way about the elf on the shelf and the tooth fairy. Never once did they tell my sister and I that the tooth fairy was made up, never once did they say to me that when I got rid of my pacifiers at 4(long story)that the binkie fairy was made up and mommy and daddy bought the present, that the elf on the shelf was mom and dad moving it, None of that stuff. The only thing we found out was made up was Santa and Easter bunny… but that was our choice. Other than that anything that’s a made up holiday or even if it’s real they never once told their kids that the fairy wasn’t real or that the elf was moved by the parents or none of that stuff. Because they too were traumatized by their parents when they said that that pacifier fairy was made up and same for Santa and the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny… that broke their hearts for Easter and Christmas and tooth fairy and just made giving up the pacifier take even longer since they knew then(the fairies aren’t real) so good job to you for not saying to Griffin that the fairy isn’t real.
I sure do wish all parents were like You and Will , always be honest with your kids You and Will are the best parents !!!!!!!

You have natural habitat of wild bunnies. We used to get alot of wild bunnies in our backyard they were actually wild hares. I love any type of bunnies. I would always watch them from afar until they hopped away into our backyard that had a natural forest behind our house.

It's more special to children to get gifts from their parents anyways. My mom was the same with me, because of her Mom telling her about them. She never lied, I knew all those characters were not real. And it never dulled my spirit Actually my holiday spirit is HUGE.
Just think of the stares as curiosity. People just don’t know what is up.
Lindy is so cute. She wants to do everything the big kids do. 😂 Even loose her teeth. My youngest found a small rock and told me it was her tooth so the tooth fairy could come. She was so impatient to loose that first tooth.

I have a different viewpoint on Santa & the tooth fairy. However, I see where you're coming from. I do wish my parents had sat me down when I turned 7 yrs old & told me the truth because I found out at school from some jerk of a kid who spent the day bullying me for believing in Santa. I think I was 7 or 8 yrs old.
