He broke his own record of how many times he rewatches 😅 Enjoy this very long video! (This was filmed before PTD Vegas because everyone was suggesting it and I knew I'd play on the screen before the concert and didn't want it to be spoiled)
Taylor you should watch this reaction that two twin brothers did of your Intro video!! They are baby armies and they loved your video and had sweet messages for you! Thank you for making such a wonderful video that is making more people fall in love with our guys. Love from a UK Army 🇬🇧 💜 ua-cam.com/video/iqiBkPAcIAw/v-deo.html
You’ve been such a great Army guide to Jeff! I’m jealous!
if it's good stuff it's good stuff. BTS just hits.
It's because there are so many things going on in the mv😅
How does it feel to be ARMY Twitter famous? 💜😁
Fun fact: The background art work is a rendition of "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil".
Awesome! It reminds me of the sculpture called Solitude of the Soul. It is at the Illinois Institute of Art.
So is the choreography really
Oh I always thought the sculpture was inspired from the Devil's Advocate --- the wall where tormented souls are trapped in 0,0
This video is ART at its finest. Please don't worry about how often you pause. I'd rather you pause every 10 seconds so that you can absorb everything, rather than continue watching and miss something you might have appreciated.
Thank you! Yes, I agree it is art for sure.
11:00 No it doesn't mean sugar addiction. The entire MV is based on their parallel story called BU aka BTS Universe. In the story Jhope's mom abandoned him at a carnival when he was just a young child. The only thing she left by his side was a bar of snickers chocolate.
That became his trauma in his later life as he grew up. If you notice in the MV, the room Jhope is in a room filled with objects from a carnival and he is laying on a bed of snickers. They are references to his past trauma of abandonment. This basically shows every member's trauma according to the BU storyline.
hi, new army here
that means it happens in real life or it is 100% fictional??
@@marianasobreiro9049 100% fictional. BU (Bangtan Universe) is based on a storyline made by Bighit. They only play their characters even though the names of their characters are same as their real life names. The story is NOT based on real life. It is entirely fictional. Hope that clears your doubt.
@@aparna12242 thank you
that helps a lot 💜
Soooo.. that is why he became "greed"-y in MORE MV
Jeff talked about how this feels like a dream. I don’t think anyone highlighted the lyrics of the chorus, “In a dream that can’t come true, I raised a flower that couldn’t bloom.”
BTS will never use CGI where they can get the effect they want with practical sets, camera angles, and mechanics. As you saw in the making video, the guys will also do the action themselves with appropriate safeguards in place to protect them. This MV is a little bit on the more extreme side in terms of the sheer number of effects requiring additional oversight, but they've done explosions a number of times, set at least one room on (controlled) fire, and dropped a car once, just to name a few.
Their MV for IDOL, by contrast, is extremely heavy on very obvious CGI, but they did that as a statement.
They actually have a more detailed mv making usually on the DVDs they release called memories. The explosion scene is there and shows that Jin is indeed in between it when it explodes. It is paid content though so not so much is posted in YT. The video you watched is part of the free contents they release here so we'd see some parts that they do not show on the dvd.
You’d also see the behind set for the water effects on Jimin where the staff were cleaning up the remaining water on the set 😂
Thank you. I will try to find this. I will pay I am so curious to see it.
@@OrigReacts They release the dvd every year and it’s usually a compilation off all their activities on the year so you’d see all the other mv making as well that they made on the same year. The dvd has been discontinued though since it has been a few years since it has been released. You might find some links for other websites though as some army do post paid contents for other army to see.
@@OrigReacts its on memories of 2018 dvd 😊
Where can I pay to watch the detailed Behind the scenes of Fake love???
D@1lyM0t¡On also has these, with thousands of commercials 😊
We should start taking bets on how early in each video Jeff will do his first pause. 😂
I knew this one would be within 10 seconds! It’s just too good
@@FlightyNerd ikr 😅
Now I'm ready to see his BST reaction. I'll give that one 7 seconds
🤣🤣🤣🤣
My bet would always be the second frame😂
They should start a poll before posting the vid!!! 😍😍😍
Snikers bar(in Jhope scene) : Based on the BU, Jhope's mom left him in the amusement park with the snikers bar in his hand when he was a child and never came back. So it represents his trauma about 'fake love'. Water and fire scenes are also related to each character's trauma in the fictional storyline.
Fake Love is pure Art from the MV to the lyrics to the choreography. One of BTS best. 👌👏
Agreed.
This MV is part of a whole storyline that’s why at the beggining is confusing but when you understand is mindblowing i promiseee. Blood Sweat and Tears is my fav one i hope you can react to it soon!🥰
To be fair, even when you know the gist of the storyline and try to follow it it is still very confusing😅
So thr part with Jin tha you want to see is only available on their BTS Memories DVD. Jin makes a point to say how important his face is but how everyone is wearing goggles and also notes how the camera is wrapped up while hes just going to be stanifn there. He tried hard not to flinch, which he didn't because trying to get another take...I honestly don't know if that was possible.
Is this also where we saw Jin painting his pants? Because I remember seing it but not where. I just knew there was more footage and wanted to recommend it.
😊👍
@@imajinallthepurple I don't remember, I haven't found the time to re-watch it. I just remember this scene in particular because I thought that should have been added to the making of that they posted.
This is the era that hooked me .. the transmedia storytelling in Bangtan Universe is so so clever. They are so much more than a boy band. So much creativity!
One of my favorites for sure like it's impossible to watch Fake Love MV and not be one of your favorites kkk
Again, I hope you pause and rewind and rewatch whenever and how much you want with no weight on your shoulders. It's your reaction/analysis and we're here for that! It's great to give us something unique, and you doing whatever you want and sharing your mind, impressions, reflexions and knowledge it's what we're here for! 😁💜
Thank you! I appreciate the support.
There is a more detailed behind the scenes on a DVD called BTS memories (for 2018). Jin said there, that they used paper sheets and dust for the explosion part.
Thank you! I will try to find this.
@@OrigReacts you can watch it on your own, because you probably won't be able to post it on yt since it's paid content. Some parts and maybe this one could be up on dailymotion.
I've looked it up, but Jin didn't say it in the behind the scenes on the memories DVD, but I heard/read it somewhere.
Blood Sweat and Tears is a must watch!
4:26 It’s quite interesting how you interpreted the scenery as a dream. And after watching from that point of view I think it fits really well given the fact that the "fake love“ that they‘re giving and receiving seems surreal for them.
Dang it, Taylor! You should have shown him the extended version!!! That's what he was asking about.
Edit: Never mind...lol. I'm glad he found it and watched it. Remember Jeff, this is part of the BU so you won't understand the symbolism.
“They probably could’ve SOLD all those SNICKERS BARS for SOUVENIRS”! Great comment. So the SAVE ME also says
IM FINE! There’s still so so much that I don’t know even after a year of diving! Taylor has great knowledge & input.
I was searching for this comment. 💜
The SAVE ME/I'M FINE is definitely something to not miss!
Yes them, the staff, the camera work the editing, they are all just damn amazing.
I think nothing will ever top the fake love MV. It is 100% art
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it - the phones in V’s segment are flashing ‘I’m Fine’, which is the hidden message in the ‘Save Me’ ambigram graphic (you have to rotate it 180 degrees to see). ‘I’m Fine’ is also the pair/mirror song to the song ‘Save Me’ that you’ve already reacted to. The failed phone call itself refers back to the beginning of his BU storyline.
I love watching how flustered Jeff gets, lol. And how he paused twice in the beginning before even 25 seconds 😂. His reactions are classic and I love to watch them. Can't wait until he does dive into the BU 💜💜💜
I would LOVE for Jeff to see the wings short films and give his interpretation on those!!
Don't ever worry about pausing, I love watching your honest reaction to the video! 🥰 Great video!
Edit: I hope you enjoyed the concert.
Edit: the "wall/glass" explosion was made with paper sheets and biodegradable artificial paper sand. 🤙🏼❤️ if you watch in slow motion you can see the paper flying.
Also, his voice is so engaging. Like a proper conversation and reaction instead of over reaction, shouting and talking without breathing.
Jeff… As I always say, “Pause away”, I would rather hear your thoughts at the time then you listen to the whole thing forget what you’re going to say. When you said, “this feels like a dream, or maybe a nightmare”, I laughed out loud. But I know exactly what you were saying. There is also an explanation to this MV, which is really very good. Example, the candy bars of JHope is laying on has something to do with his childhood, which I will not tell you. Looking forward to your next reaction on BTS.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The whole BU will leave you with so many questions
Thank you for the heads up!
@@OrigReacts it's an amazing journey i recommend watching it back to back because watching just 1 and then waiting a long time will be confusing. You should watch it like a movie
Jeff remember you are not alone! I believe every ARMY has paused and rewound these videos even more than you do because they like to find all the Easter eggs going on.
I really like that you explain to us what the crew does and how difficult and amazing that is. Ofcourse we are focussed on the guys but without that amazing team around them they couldn't do what they do now.
This made me smile - I love seeing how passionate you are about the amazing work BTS and their team does! Definitely time to jump into the BU - I would love to see you react to MVs like Run and I Need You and even some of the other trailers and footage that were all made so well on a very limited budget. And I think you would really enjoy the whole BU storyline and its moodier thematic elements. Seriously can't wait for you to see the Wings trailer and shortfilms. Your brain may explode, ROFL!
They shoot out paper on air. So not so dangerous, a set builder told that in a his reaction video.
Oh that's cool. I will try to watch their reaction.
@@OrigReacts this was a while ago and I have heard several in other in similar jobs saying the same in their reaction videos. So to be honest I don't remember exactly who have said this, so I am sorry I can't link you a video. But I seem to remember that maybe Cedric Cegel (actor, reactor, director) has said it too...
Oh, wait until you get to the Wings short films. What amazes me is the creative team behind and with BTS. This is a team that has worked hard to make the best quality they possibly can even from their days having a limited budget. I appreciate your videos for appreciating their skills. AND! Soon we will have another MV (plural?) from this team. I absolutely cannot wait. Also, I can never get tire of Fake Love, so love all the replays. One of my favorite reactors, Cedric Gegel, who comes from the similar background to you, believes the scene with the windows imploding and debris flying is created without any explosion.
Hi Jeff! So there's another reactor, that just got into BTS, that I believe you two have the same or similar profession and he gave some insight on how they might have shot Jin's scene! Basically he said that they used air compressor cannons and stuffed them with a bunch of pieces of paper and sand and also pointed that the windows don't have any glass so it's not as dangerous as it seems.
His channel name is ALovelyPenguin you should check him out and maybe do a collab? You two would be the perfect filmmaking reacting couple hehe 😋
Loved your insights as always! ❤️❤️
I'm so used to Jeff pausing now, I can actually get a fair indication of whether or not he liked something based on the length of each reaction video! Also, don't worry about pausing because what you have to say is interesting
I want to see him watch all the Wings trailers. Those are so awesome.
YES IVE BEEN WAITING FOR FAKE LOVE! IT'S AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
Agree 💜
It gives me chills every time!!
Totally okay with the pauses because as long as the person reacting gives their insight on what’s being reacted to - definitely cool with that. New sub, good sir. 👍👍
Watching his reaction suddenly reminds me of something. we don't necessarily see things behind a song when we hear it. though it's an art form, but most of the time songs are just entertainments. but with BTS's songs, i always feel like i understand the song writers and the music creators, the idea of the song. like why they made the song, and why they made it this way. im not saying my understanding is completely correct cuz art no one precise answer, but an idea then you can make your own interpretation. it's really an art cuz it provide a communication between the creator and the viewer. most songs made really vague almost like chitchat, you don't even care who you talking with, you don't see the person or understand a person by chitchat. but BTS's songs, there are real words inside the songs. but im not bashing those casual songs, cuz i like those as well lol it's not a hard requirement to put yourself in your art. but im just saying i really feel like im communicating with the songs' creator through their songs and it's pretty special.
Yeah the shooting sketches definitely are more focused on the members. Like look how much fun they’re having and goofing around with each other. And look how hard they’re working. Someone should definitely put together a book with the production of each of the music videos. There’s a lot that goes into each of them.
Because he likes ON and Daechwita , I believe he would like songs like Ddaeng, Mic Drop and UGH 💜
I love how Jeff answers so many questions I didn't even know I had while asking his own. The BU is going to be more of a galactic wormhole than a rabbit hole for this guy. I'm super excited to follow Jeff's journey. I've learned so much already!
Man, I adore listening to you talk shop, as much as I love your appreciation of BTS.
Taylor, please get Jeff to watch Blood, Sweat and Tears! That would definitely blow his mind! Also Spring Day for sure! And I Need You! He’s really going down the rabbit hole now! Welcome to Army, Jeff! 💜
This is one of my fave song & mv of BTS since the first time I became an ARMY. Thank's for the reaction. Bring back all of those memories.
I feel like your reaction videos just make me love and appreciate BTS and their staff even more. It is easy to forget about the artists in the background
Jeff, this MV is what solidified my fandom, so I totally get it!! 😅 I am giddy excited to hear your thoughts on the BU short films, prologue, etc.
so glad u reacted to this one!
i still vividly remember watching this mv when it first came out - it was especially moving because they took key visual symbols from their fictional storyline and created beautiful unique dream-like sequences for each. some of them mention it in the behind the scenes, like suga joking that he and fire can't be separated: previously he ends up in a scene of a burning room a few times- and in fake love, it seems as though he's hearing his character's past like a nightmare from another room. or like j-hope amongst the sea of snickers bars - he doesn't say it in the behind the scenes, but that particular candy bar is used because of his fictional storyline in their universe too (wings short film 'mama' for quick reference haha). their director tends to use these really well but i always thought it was particularly effective in this mv. it's always really cool to realize all the connections while watching. they rly go the extra mile to include this stuff in a /if you know you know/ kind of way while keeping it very functional as a stand-alone intriguing experience for a commercial audience o-o
i think you really might like the non-music video kind of cinematic interlude videos they have made, like the hyyh prologue, wings short films, or highlight reels (personal favorite). especially if you have a preference for perhaps darker themes, they're a great watch. and the soundtracks are also great even if they're not strictly music videos. anyway, love the reactions!! glad you were able to see them perform live too :D
If Jeff liked Jin's room exploding, he's gonna LOOOOOOOVE "Film Out."
The sculpture is depicting the "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil" hands which is also incoporated in the choreography
And yes, the BU will blow your mind! The creativity and how they link all the videos and books etc. is exceptional! Down the rabbit hole you go, Jeff! 💜
I love Jeff’s reactions!! I love his knowledge about production & how he always highlights the background staff that work on these videos. But mostly I love how excited he gets!
I love Jeff’s reactions… he’s made me look at their music videos from another point of view and making me love it more. 💜
On the "explosion" portion of the MV with Jin and the flower, another filmmaker watching this noted that, with torn up paper and blowers in the windows, they could get the look of an explosion without too much danger.
Blood sweat n tears next 💜💜💜
Yes please welcome to the rabbit hole 🕳️ BU
Love this song and JK'S abs.. 💜💜
I am enjoying Jeff's dissection of the music videos so far💜💜 can't wait to see his reaction to blood sweat and tears MV
And that's how real these Men ❣️💜 Are!!! They are that talented 😂.!!!!!! They know what to do!!! 💕😘
I'm learning in English and I'm a Army.I'm here because BTS.I love your Video so much.
I think after watching BTS MVs, Jeff needs to watch videos regarding the BTS Universe storyline ..
I think the part where the room explodes around Jin is just a visual trick. He's in a blind spot where the explosion won't hit him, and it's a tight spot. So things will explode behind him and in front of him but he is in a safe spot in between.
for Jin's scene(windows), i believe there were no windows. they just had bits of paper and whatever else like that with high pressure, pushing it through in a burst.
I just love watching your reactions. I hope you take us on your journey through the BU.... Please!!!!
FWIW, Jeff, I think Jin's explosion scene is playing with depth-perception. In the "Making Of" video, there's a kind of diagonal shot that shows Jin is standing in the middle of a fairly wide stretch of wall in between two of the sets of windows. There's an EXTRA lot of debris/dirt that's tossed in the front of the frame (from the left-- I picture a staffer just heaving the contents of a bucket of dirt) that disguises the fact that very little is actually hitting Jin. (If the costumer can clean him off with a lint roller... there can't be that much actually landing on him.)
MUAHAHAHAHAAAAA Suck him in with the great lyrics, cool dancing, amazing production... and then throw him waaaayyyy in the deep end of Bangtan Universe! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
You rule, Taylor! 💜
Lmao watching you react to this video reminded me of when I watched the Blood Sweat and Tears video for the very first time. I didn't know anything about BTS or the BU storyline or whatever but you could just tell there was a story behind this... I felt so intrigued and invested. It was awesome. Blood Sweat and tears and Fake love are still my favorite BTS MVs. I am so looking forward to you reacting to BST
The teasers (esp. the 1st one) for the Fake Love MV, I think it's also done very well. Imagine we were all going into it cold back in 2018, the eerily anticipating sense it gave the audience, the emotional build up to the MV drop into BU story line... Connection and foreshadowing the Magic Shop concept... I think some of the MV teasers can really be put into part of the reaction "arc," especially it appears we are going into this BU dive. Especially Jeff's professional perception and interests from a production storyteller viewpoint, seeing how everything tied together to the level of a intricately crafted teaser, nothing is without purpose and meaning. All emotions were wrung out from the viewers. The angst!
Solo shoots explanation (by me):
excuse my broken english:D
1. RM
- In the BTS Universe Storyline (BU), after moving to the countryside to support his dad's illness financially, Joon often took a bus to the only library. The bus wasn't that crowded, there were only a few students and this girl he noticed. In HYYH The Notes, he was curious about the girl and wondered if she was experiencing the same hardships he was going through. One day, he finally gathered enough courage to buy her a hair tie but was too shy to give it directly so he put it on her bag while she was sleeping.
- The room also represents Joon's container home in the city, where he and the boys hung out together.
2. Jin
- His room doesn't represent a certain place but his efforts to protect his love.
- In BU, he'd picked up a girl's diary while crossing through the train tracks. After reading it, he decides to do everything she wanted, as in the notebook. One of her wishes was to be gifted a banquet of Smeraldo flowers (not real btw). Jin wanted to take this chance and tell her his feelings with the flowers, but she was hit by the flower truck in front of his eyes that day.
He then turned back time and tried to make everything right, but failed and they grew further apart. In the end, Jin gave her the diary back and apologized.
- The flower in the glass thingy is the Smeraldo flower. One of the things that got thrown in the room was sand so it might represent time.
3. SUGA
- Yoongi has a bittersweet relationship with music. He loved it but it also reminded him of his mom, who had passed away in a fire, she was always playing the piano. After the boys went their separate ways and him quitting music, he met a girl who made him want to play and write songs again.
- In previous timelines, Yoongi had attempted suicide multiple times in his workroom/motel room by burning himself alive.
4. j-hope
- j-hope grew up in an orphanage. His last memories of his mom were when she abandoned him at an amusement park when he was 7. This made him develop narcolepsy, which he revealed to Jimin as Munchausen syndrome.
- In a scene, you can see a chocolate bar slipping through the keyhole on the door of his room, this symbolizes his trauma building up to a pile, which further means that he's drowned in his childhood trauma.
5. Jimin
- The room represents an incident in the storyline:
Jimin developed seizures after seeing a little boy tied up in a small room when he went out for a school trip. He had transferred to multiple schools and hospitals. His parents seemed to have left him to his own, not providing any support but locking him in wards. Hobi and Jimin ended up in the same hospital one day. He and the others helped Jimin escape the hospital.
After that, the 2 of them formed a small dancing team with another girl. When Hobi broke his leg, Jimin and the girl practiced in the practice room together. Suddenly, Jimin made a mistake and bumped into her. Apparently, they hit each other very hard, causing the girl the bleed. Jimin saw the blood and immediately rushed to the bathroom and washed the blood away (he was traumatized remember?). When he finally realized what he'd done, Hobi had already carried the girl to the hospital. Jimin was really disappointed in himself but decided to walk away because he was ashamed to meet them face to face.
- In previous timelines, Jimin also tried to drown himself to death in the hospital.
6. V
- Taehyung was abused by his father physically and mentally. His mom left him and his sister after his dad became an alcoholic. He looked up to Joon a lot and they would go out on the streets to spray graffiti on the walls. On one occasion, he was caught by the police when Joon wasn't there. When asked about his parents, he replied: "I don't have such thing." and asked back to make a phone call. It was to Joon but he never picked up.
- The room had phones lining the walls, flashing with a writing "Save Me" behind him. The phones symbolizes his hope for Joon to pick up but it was smashed and even trapping him inside. The writing is in fact an ambigram of Save Me and I'm Fine, which are both names of songs. At the time Fake Love was released, only Save Me was released.
7. Jungkook
- His scenes were the hardest for me to explain TvT
- Closer to the end of HYYH The Notes 1 (and the whole storyline until today), Jin got a hint from the cat with blue and green eyes to find the Map Of The Soul, in return for slowly losing his memories of the boys. Every time he saw something that had to do with them, he would get major headaches. He reached out to the others for help. During this time, jk got into a car accident and was in a coma for 10 days. The others didn't tell him what was happening because they wanted him to focus on getting better. But somehow, jk believes that Jin was the one who hit him with the car and all of them knew.
- Growing up, jk's dad left him with his mom, who remarried another man and paid no attention to him. The boys were his family, but they are now lying to him. Day by day, he distanced himself from them.
I'm watching and my mind scream "You are seeing the MV's in the wrong way, you are missing the different history line's"😱😱😱, I'm sad for you, really! There's sooooo many keys details 😖😭. Well, is your way and for everyone is different 😉but the sad part is that you are going to regret, totally regret 😔🥺 cause the history is🤯. Welcome to our💜 "Rabbit hole"😏🥰
This is actually my next thing but I am not too worried seeing it out of order right now. I really want to try to watch everything in the order to see the full universe story. I will try to make time for this soon.
Who would watch someone else watch the same MV three times in a row (along with the behind the scenes)???
Raise your hands ARMY. ✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼
Hi Jeff,
I really love your reaction videos and hearing your thoughts from a filmmaker’s perspective. I love that you enjoy watching these BTS videos. Please keep them coming!
Oh yes pls start watching the BU ! Good Luck to your brain Jeff 😅
It is huge
Haha! I know. It's gonna be like a binging a season on Netflix or something.
This MV has many hidden clues. Behind V when he is in the room full of cellphones it doesn't say "fake love" it says "save me" but if you turn the image upside down it says "I'm fine" both are titles of songs that they always sing together one after another, like one it is continuation of the other. However they made a MV just for "Save me"
P.S. I have heard that the scene you were obsessed with was almost all paper debris. But I haven't seen confirmation of that. I would imagine that they trained Jin to close his eyes and avoid any dust etc.
Don't be sorry for stopping when you want. I am watching this with you and enjoying how you watch their videos. I enjoy reaction videos that I learn from, think about, and I am ALWAYS ready for another reason for rewatching BTS videos. It is almost like I have found a friend who I can enjoy BTS with. So.......thank you!@
Good luck Jeff! why did you even start? Now you have to watch the whole storyline. It's a game BTS plays with the army. Hidden messages, interconnected lyrics, and videos. It brings us to a whole new level of whirlwind emotions.
I got started because 2 people at our company are into Kpop and BTS. Taylor is ARMY and Ashley is into Super Junior and Ateez. They would always talk about it at our meetings when we share our favorite content of the week. It was fascinating to me how they would talk about it. Because we are content creators, I am fascinated by great content. So finally one day, I told Taylor, show me something from BTS and we filmed it. Then that started me down the rabbit hole. But I am loving it. The content is great. The community is awesome. I am having all kinds of fun.
@@OrigReacts I'm glad you are having fun. Welcome to the family.
I know Jeff is a filmmaker, but he is such a good teacher! The way he explains things keeps the viewer hooked. I was so excited to see that Jeff got to experience this MV before the concert.
I've been waiting for this so thank you for reacting. Blood, sweat and tears is another masterpiece in terms of everything! My favorite mv of all time.
I kind of love that you got the experience that Army does which is you leave with more questions for each viewing and shooting sketch and extended version. And yes the idea of tying a huge multi year multi album story line together is great!
Mic Drop behind the scenes would be awesome!! There's so much cool stuff :)
The BU will amaze you, just develop your own theory of what it’s about instead of following others.
Finally! Fake love
I joined the ARMY in 2018 when the album "TEAR" and this MV were released. You definitely have to watch BU (Bangtan Universe) MV, mini films (WINGS) and ARMY'S theories to understand what's going on.
Have a great day 💜
Great reaction 💜, love it so much 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much!!
Cant wait until he starts the BU!!!
anticipating to your Wings short film reactions!🤩
so excited! can't wait.
Actually I want to mention something Jeff.
In the MV behind V, you can see there’s an anagram ‘Save me’ which if flipped turns into ‘I’m Fine’.They are sister songs, their melody is mirrored and lyrics are also related/ reversed or something….
I've read that the "explosion" was all paper and some sand. Jin was in the room. Can we give a shout out to the lighting design?
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS REACTION MY WHOLE LIFE
I'm studying to become set designer for tv and film and it's super nice to see reactor who focuses on the same little detail that I do, and finding the same kind of enjoyment from BTS music videos. I love the music, and listen to it almost constantly, but I love studying these videos and trying to find ways that I would have made these effects. Also the statement that get's thrown around that everything is real is missing so much nuance and, I think, respect for good and justified digital work. Also loving the tangent on art, and how choices of what to show are huge part of artistic process. Loving the videos and the commentary.
BTS Memories of 2018, the Year End Recap Video Compilation, has additional footage.
Tbh there's so much more to the fake love mv if you know their story line which is going on since their 2015 hyyh album it's more clearer and all elements are related to it. The flower in the beginning is the smeraldo which actually is a fake flower and it's from sad fictional story which symbolizes the truth untold ( they also have a song called by that name in tis album) They've shown this flower fora brief second even in their RUN mv which I recommend you watch too. In the story line basically jin is stuck in a timeloop trying to save everyone and jk is doing the same too in this mv the water, fire and jhope drowning in snickers too are their fears which are engulfing them. The ending scene where jk meets that masked man could be interpreted in many ways too. In the teaser to this video too they all go to this place called the magic shop and exchange their fears with something and jk gets the key to it. The masked man is the one who was in that shop. I don't know if anything I wrote made much sense lol cuz the Bangtan universe is really complex but I'd like to add how beautifullly and artistically they've incorporated the story in this mv and also continued it since 2015
Can’t wait for when Jeff reacts to Stay Gold and the set built for that!
I think you should definitely watch the explaination of this video it does put so many things into perspective. It is a must watch.
Just one of my favorites - can stop and watch over and over …..
We love your reaction videos sir🤣💜
I can't wait for him to get into the BU and get more of an deep understanding of what is going on in the MV's.
I really enjoy your comments and have no worries about stopping so much. Your reaction has also highlighted the "suspension of disbelief." Your analysis is on point.
22:43 the stuff that gets shot through the window looks like debris but I'm pretty sure it's just sand and paper, being shot in with high pressure and between the four windows is a very large space where the full force of the sand doesn't hit and that's where Jin is standing, in a very mild sandstorm so to say
I see myself in you when I first delved into the BTS world. I was so amazed by the amount of work and research of the production team, so blown away by the mind of the writers who did the storyline of all the MVs in building the BU. I was really in awe of their team’s amazing work to make them shine in their performances. I wish really wished that these boys be given proper compensation too by the amount of dedication they have in all their work and artistry, and this wish came true when they became part owners of HYBE because of the shares given by BangPD nim.
Having so much fun watching your rabbit-hole journey!! Your excitement is so cute, & the professional commentary only further shows the dedication of their teams! BTS and crew never fail to impress; top-notch talent & lots of hard work!! Every MV is a mini-movie, & every performance an experience! So glad you got to be part of the purple ocean in LV! (D3 LivePlay, D4 concert!😍). 💜
