CG is used so much that people automatically assume that's what it is when they see something incredible. The team that works & produces BTS videos are exceptional at what they do.
Thank you for (again) calling out all the people who are involved with making BTS music videos happen. When you said that "it's like they're all performing with BTS," I felt a little choked up! There is a rare kind of mindfulness about the filmmaking process with BTS where nobody/nothing else is stealing the show--and even the most amazing technical moments are in service of the final project. That is the fantastic, magic invisibility of really good filmmaking--innovative work without being self-conscious (or worse) self-serving. So satisfying to watch reactions with you!
You do not need to apologize or feel self conscious about stopping and rewinding! This is YOUR journey, and you are sharing it with us. Everybody has their own preferences in reactors, and no matter what, you will never make everyone happy. Thank goodness that there are THOUSANDS of reactors. Those who are not happy can move on and find ones who suit them. It is just a shame that they have to run their mouth and complain because things are not done to please them and their selfish ways. I love how you go over the details, and share your knowledge. In the words of our fearless, wise leader RM- DO YOU! 💜💜💜💜💜
I don’t watch the Grammys much, at least not until BTS started getting nominated. This year, 2023, they are nominated for best music video for “Yet to Come.”

No matter how many times you watch a BTS video, I vibe with the song. When you start commenting on video making I pay attention and listen. Awesome info from you on this video. :) I love the shooting sketches too.
No need to apologize, I love watching your rewinds! Just so you know, there's also a choreo version of this MV (which is, I think, all shot in the underground garage). I'm kind of torn as to which is my favorite version, because the extra choreo is REALLY good, but I love the quarry scene too. And the choreo cuts out the opening shot with RM walking across the garage. (And for some reason the choreo video repeats, on the "official" version, which is slightly annoying.) Anyway, love your reactions, Jeff! As Jimin would say, "You nice, keep going!"
I really like watching you have fun every time you see the gear they are using to film the videos 😅 and is so good to see you and also so satisfying to hear your honest thoughts and opinions
You do a great reaction and it doesn’t matter how many times you stop and rewind. I like that! I also like how you describe how the me is done and it is fun and educational. Keep the reactions coming!
Please don’t apologize! It’s pretty awesome to learn from you. We rarely have a directors point of view so I enjoyed it very much. If you payback 20 times it’s fine w us. We’re used to it and that’s why they do behind the scenes. To think that one man, had an idea, picked 7 boys, chose all the choreo, film makers, had really no money but a big dream. His dream was to bring together dance, music and rap together. Back then Rap was underground music, not really lawful. He found RM first, then Suga and had tryouts all over Korea. These 7 have been though many things, hard times, prejudice and mental health issues. I’ll stop there but you really should watch the early years before and just shortly after their music hit the scene. Thanks so much. It was a delight spending time with you sharing your expertise and views. We love our guys (men now) ARMY forever 💜😉
Thank you for your reaction, as usual so interesting! Hybe/Big Hit really have amazing creative professionals. The mvideos and other contents are so amazing.
Enjoyed your reaction. I was going to say I haven't seen you in a long time, but that would be incorrect...it just seems like a long time. I have no idea about the technical stuff but like when you explain stuff as there might be folks who do. Glad you're still exploring BTS.
When I watch Jeff's reactions I always find myself looking at the equipment in the background because I know he'll be looking at it, and it's so funny when then he pauses on it 😆 I'm like "yes Jeff, I saw it too! That's bad boy equipment right there" even though I know nothing about it 🤣

Hello Boss, I am riding with your journey. I like your professional reaction which I am learning as well along the way. I know you are liking maybe loving the BTS already. They are my therapy for someone who live alone and away from family. I love you BTS & army.😍
Jst watch the MV making ..you'll be surprise..those mountains are not CG..they even wait hours to shoot the scene during the nyt..and they says it's really cold..
Thanks for your fun, Geoff. You're so funny ... I wonder if you will ever learn! 😂 Every. Single. Time. you say similar things, and are astonished by how good they are. I agree with you that everyone involved in the production work so closely together and are, in fact, choreographed, just like BTS are (it cannot be said too often!) ... though I kinda think that the same must be true to some extent for any film production. I always think of BTS as more than just BTS members who get all the attention (and actually most of the pressure). I loved the way that RM, in his recent interview with Pharrell Williams, corrected Pharrell's delineation of BTS as a "group" with the term "team" because that encompasses all the other people and roles which are essential. It's the same with Hobi's preference to call the additional dancers "dancers rather than "backup dancers" because they are integral to the performance and the team. These tiny differences reveal something about their mindset and that is one of the reasons that BTS are as successful as they are, yes, but also what they are like as people. Just one of the reasons I love them.
I actually like the Not Today (Choreography Version) better. You can see more of the choreo in it. I really do wonder about that clear circle that they dance on. What is it and how was it made? Whatever it is, it's perfect!

I wish I could hold your attention for just a while, for I have had a really hard time finding the right way to approach this matter, how to be "conspicuous" enough to be noticed by you yet not enough to be easily dismissed by everyone, how to kindly garner attention without being overbearing but remaining clear yet respectful, where the appropriate place to call for your needed attention without being misunderstood could be, going through such ordeal to show gratitude all because I have come to feel deep appreciation towards all of you. Trying over and over again and questioning myself constantly on whether it was the right thing to do or not, worth it or not, but always coming to the same conclusion: that even if I only managed to reach a few people here because I, though apologetically, must confess couldn't find any other better way to address this, that could be enough. ARMY, I know you care about people, because you really care about one another, so in the name of that care and compassion, I want to reciprocate, so may you please take the good from the words and forget the author's name as where they came from, that is the only thing that I ever care for: m.ua-cam.com/video/Ykd6LrA0q6Ea/v-deo.html
