The inhuman aggression by which Israel treats Palestinians is known to everyone who possesses an ounce of justice. This excludes, of course, Western nations for whom, apparently, history began last Saturday. However, they are very aware that the colonial outpost they set up in the Middle East is hell-bent on extracting as much land as possible to accommodate racist Americans and Europeans. They are aware that in the process, Israel slowly squeezes Palestinians and of the daily humiliations - the trigger-happy border guards that maim and murder. They know all of this yet remain deaf to the cries. They give the murderous state weapons of war, instruments of torture and diplomatic cover. Just this past week, the main political parties on both sides of the Atlantic were falling over each other to give Israel the green light. In an age of impunity, Israel has a free pass.
But what lay behind the events last week, and what can we expect in the coming weeks from regional and international actors? To help us untangle the political issues, we once again invite Sami Hamdi back on the programme. Sami Hamdi is the managing director of the International Interest and a ME commentator.

Just a secular white guy living in Canada here...but that was amazing. Inspiring, educational and powerful. I don't know who runs things upstairs. But if it is Allah, I hope he still takes prayers from people like me. I pray for Palestine and I pray that there are no amount of bombs the US can send to Israel that will silence these people's faith. 🙏
Hey white guy in Canada, I supported their cause as well until I saw what they actually do firsthand, for their cause, you would throw up, literally, and their mothers and sisters help them do it, they are not like white guy mothers and sisters. I've seen what they do to white guys mothers and sisters, no mercy, they do do not know the word mercy, and their God is actually Satan himself, and the things they do "in the name of god" is CLEARLY "In The name of satan" if you actually saw it. As a "thinking human" you would never support their cause or believe their lies, apparently only "thinking muslims" condone this sick monstrous behavior. They brag of their evil deeds at the dinner table with their sisters and mothers and children. The mothers help them gang rape little girls and perform UNSPEAKABLE horrors to their bodies IN THE NAME OF GOD AND MUHAMMAD, even their women condone this. We cannot allow this evil, Islam is NOT PEACE, please do not believe their lies, I saw what I'll never unsee, it will be in my nightmares, and it's not just a couple bad guys, they ALL condone it, please open your eyes, we cannot allow these worshippers of evil to thrive on our human planet. Down with hamas. Any God that promises a hundred young virgin girls in heaven when you die, cannot be the true God of creation, it's the devil himself they worship. It's good drama but obviously biased. Since the first intifada in '80's european media has always been on the refugee side and critiqued US-Israel support and the arab countries feeding the resistance. When the borders are lifted there will be a lot more war for dominance in Palestine with all the neighbours.

Knowledge and faith DO NOT go together. Faith is strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. So 'knowledge' goes out of the window.

I wrote this when I started to watch. Now I'm back and thank Muhammed Jalal andd Sami Hamdi for a great podcast and especially for the last part. Connected more to the Ummah and the Dawah. We'll overcome and win at the end no matter what they try...
After learning more about the history of Palestine and Israel, I'm totally on the Palestinian's side. After suffering under the apartheid regime in South Africa, I completely understand what the Palestinians are going through. Having said that, I do not want innocent people to die from either side.
Israel don't occupy Palestine you mong. There is no such thing as apartheid there. Hamas are an Islamic terror organisation. If the Jews laid down their arms, and moved out of Israel what do you think would become of the Palestinians. It would be no different to Afghanistan or Iran. Just another Islamic sithole

What is off the Richter scale is his deep understanding of Islamic principles particularly Islam's constant exhortation for restraint by its followers and his passion for Islam - this is rare to find in an incisive journalist. Kudos to you Sami please keep on keeping on.
This is my first time hearing from Sami Hamdi. This man is a genius when it comes to political science. Very detailed analysis. The ramifications of what is happening to the Palestinians are far reaching to say the least. Learned a lot here.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. He explains the situation in extreme detail but in a way that isn't confusing or hard to understand. I wish he had his own UA-cam channel.

Hamas, the PLO, Hezbollah are not very different than the NAZIS in their racist and hateful policies. The difference is that the NAZIS were soldiers who wore a uniform. Hamas, the PLO, and Hezbollah are pigs who dress as civilians because they are cowards. Once a building is used as a missile launch site, be it a home, school, hospital, church, business, etc. it is now a legitimate military target. How about analyzing the videos of the women and young girls these sick monsters( who happen to be Palestinian) tortured and killed? How about analyzing the truth? I supported Palestine until I saw firsthand what these men did. They are worse then monsters. I actually was a voice standing for the Palestinian people and Islam until God showed me the truth. Please open your eyes and heart to God. The truth is these people are working for the devil himself. Please wake up, see God in your heart, his will would never condone this. Who were the people who said Jesus did not die on the cross; the Romans and Pharisees said He died on the cross. So who saw Jesus being raised up while an imposter was put in his place? Where did this belief come from, was it from Mohammad while he was possessed.
The old testament starts with violence and hate and ends with the new testaments, love your enemy; if he is thirsty give him water. When the Muslims were weak the Quran starts with Peace with others, and when they are strong ends with violence. God loves Satan that is why Satan still exists. So have the heart of God and love your enemy.
