Stunning work. Congrats to both you and the HO.
That's awesome, thats what it should look like when a team of craftsmen do the job, beautiful
Absolutely beautiful 🌹
Looks incredible, neighbours must be gutted lol
Ah man what a fantastic finish, it's an absolute joy to see such brilliant work 👏
How the he'll did you manage to get into that recess of the stone pillar of the door surround! Well done sir.
Have to say you guys are the best no doubt about it
Unreal now that's what I'm talking about.
I love it 🤩
Totally agree - must be the best one you've done.
As usual - absolute quality and top class work
Fantastic, love Victorian properties they had such taste
Looks great!
Love your work, real trades.
Great house.
Any chance of seeing the process
Very nice. There's no need to change the front door. Not sure about the railings the properties - they're utilitarian.
Beautiful finish, what paint is used to restore the stone details?
No paint is natural stone
Thank heavens people like you are starting to carry out better quality restorations than the rubbish that's been done over previous decades and is still happening now! All around me in London I see "specialist" brick contractors whacking in the horrible grey cement weatherstruck pointing. Ughh.
I'd be interested to know if you used lime mortar on the main elevation which is obviously the correct way to do it. You only mentioned the front wall and use of lime. Also, did you repair the stonework - I'm amazed it's so even coloured.
I'd also take a small issue with your use of tuck pointing which I doubt would be the original method on this house and if this were an important listed building it would be the wrong thing to do.
Looks great the railings let it down a bit though compared to everything else.
Is the stone limestone ? Are you repointing with Lime mortar ? Could you restore damaged Capital stones (from paint stripping) ?
Yes you can check out our latest video
how much would this cost?
Depends on your location
Yeah the first storey looks ok. not the whole house shown though
This looks the bollox
