This video was so chill I loved it. As a super super busy person the best way I've found to actually relax and unwind is to designate time to relax. Which sounds SO stupid like "here is your relax time" but it helps me to separate it from the rest of the time in my life. Which is productive time haha. Right now with my routine I find just having a bath on a Sunday night before the next work week begins works well and I'll just hang in the bath for two hours and put some trashy film on and ignore the rest of the world. It's nice to just like step away from it all and because there's a set time limit I don't feel bad. Also, relaxing is important bc otherwise you'll burn yourself out so take time to do that :)

I have the exact opposite problem to you. I do not work nearly enough and need to work harder than I do. How do you sit down and begin working with enough motivation to get you through?
One thing that really helps me is that I go to a different space to do my work no matter where just get up, take your stuff and go somewhere

the thing I always do is at the end of the week or the day I'm relaxing I look through my planner and look at all of the work I have done. then take some time to congratulate myself (yes I talk to myself when I'm alone it's really weird I know) then usually my guilt goes away, hope this helps🌹☉

Yeah I do that as well. I think having visual aid like to-do lists where you can literally cross off everything you've done is so helpful

As a college junior, I love watching these videos SO much. It reminds me of when I was a senior who was 100% done with life & who did stuff like going home instead of to the bathroom😂. It's the most fun kind of nostalgia.

conan, i can completely relate to guilt tripping myself because i'm not doing work. but then i remind myself relaxing is actually really helpful and with make be work better. we never know how long our lives will be, so we should spend them trying to be at peace and happy- even though that is really hard sometimes. for me, one of those things is watching your videos!!

hey conan, first off all i absolutely love how you always say "god bless" at the end of your vlogs/videos. It makes me smile. I also love your editing skills - your videos are really never boring - creative editing changes everything. By the way i think im struggling with the exact opposite of your "work-relax" struggle because i should really work more, study for school but instead i stay in bed the whole day (i live in europe and i really love snow and all but i hate it when its melting - everything is wet, dark and sad so i rather just stay at home) or sit in a cafe with some friends the whole day. I really lost all the motivation i had and im trying to get it back somehow. Anyways i love your videos!!!
