I am forever grateful for this piece of music that is, to me, not less than a powerful and humble call for remembering who we truly are. It is up to each one of us to open our heart. Todd Rundgren, I love and thank you so much. The music you are gifted to do guides me and will keep on guiding people home. So many blessings to you and to whoever is reading this now !
WONDERFUL! TODD AT HIS BEST AS ALWAYS IN CONCERT. WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE. I WAS FORTUNATE TO HAVE SEEN HIM WITH UTOPIA LIVE IN HAWAII BACK IN 1978 AND IT WAS INCREDIBLE! AFTER THE FIRST SONG, EVERYONE WAS IN AWE WITH THEIR MOUTHS WIDE OPEN AND JAW DROPPED FOR LIKE 10 SECONDS BEFORE THE APPLAUSE BEGAN IT WAS SUCH AN AWESOME TIME FOR ALL THERE! NO ONE IS AS MUSICALLY GIFTED AS TODD, HE IS LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF ALL THE REST. I KNOW HIS MUSIC WILL LIVE ON TILL THIS WORLD ENDS!!😊
when we are babies, sometimes our parents would sing a lullaby to reassure us, and comfort us as we fell asleep. this is like a lullaby for adults.i have yet to hear an album more personal than "The Healing".Todd has a pure heart.
I could see therapists using this as an adjunct to their therapy. Todd has created an ethereal piece that touches heart and soul and feels wonderful to hear. This is truly brilliant and raises the bar even higher for those who create music. Nobody can touch Todd.
The singular most talented human ever on earth. It's not even close. I have been so lucky to have had his music in my life for half a century. Diverse and perfect. Seemingly always what my heart needed. Thanks again Todd
I saw this show in St. Louis a few years ago. He played the albums Todd and Healing. I take second place to none in my admiration for Mr. Rundgren. However, I must say that I liked his voice more when it was a tenor than it is now as a baritone. I suppose a deepening of the voice is the natural product of aging, and it is still a great voice. He is one of the five greatest song-writers of the past 50 years and I attend his shows whenever possible.
This is incredible! Never thought I would hear this live but to hear done well is just beyond belief. TR's vocals are just like the album, and his band is dead on instrumentally. Much thanks for the upload!
Without the Healing album, I seriously wonder if my current incarnation would have lasted as long as it has (I was born 364 days before TR). As to which show this is - I note that it's the same chorus as the Shine clip posted by Gregster138 and stated to be from Glenside, PA 9/14/2010 - Thanks to everyone involved in the creation, production and distribution of this inspiring music. "The Healer was not alone - Shine, you diamonds, shine!"
I love all all of this, and especially love it when one of the choir members really gets into it.... starting around the 11:42 mark. Thanks for the upload! It's so wonderful that Todd wanted to have young people (college students from their choirs) be backing vocalists on this tour.
Which show is this? I saw the Sept. 11 show at Butler University in Indianapolis. Call me prejudice, but I thought "our" show had the best choir to come on stage with Todd. This show was incredible, intense -- topped the AWATS show, even. Have seen him a dozen times, and it was exhilirating to hear some of these songs live, for the first time ever.
I saw him in concert a half dozen times and met him once back stage. His music has kept me alive this long (67 years)
Lucky to have heard and experienced him in Boston at Berklee. Beautiful man. His music slips through time.
A show I will never forget.

I was a young man and a fan of Todd when this album came out. It was perfect for me then and still. Thank you Todd.
This is so wonderful. Thanks so much for this. It is transcendent.
Todd, thank you for this. This has brought healing and depth of feeling to so many. It's hard to listen to without tears of compassion flowing.
I saw this show three times. It moved me. It was a great show.

This is above and beyond the rock and roll hall of game!
God Bless You Mr. Rundgren.....And I thank you.
Such a great performance and a song that is very deep and it just hits the heart with an emotion that doesn't leave one after losing a spouse ❤
When part 3 kicks in...wow
I really love it.
Can we please find a spiritual church with this kind of empathy?

No, this is not the Indy show: no balcony (where I was seated). Indy really rocked.
Well he's better than Elvis, pops.
He's like 73 now?
