The record labels haven't really controlled them since their original album. They really are just this good. They typically bring about 16-20 songs to the recording session and some just don't make the cut. Doesn't mean they aren't great tracks, just can only squeeze so many onto an album. THEY REALLY ARE JUST THIS GOOD.
Yes, they are THAT good. These ARE bonus songs. I don't know what happens behind the scenes. This was a bonus song from the first album that didn't get released until much later in their career.
They have so many B-side tracks from every album they just need to throw all of them together into one huge album and release it. I'd buy that in a heartbeat!!
This is one of my absolute favorite underrated Alter Bridge tracks. Myles sang with so much power in his voice back in the early days even though his technique is better now. He rarely goes balls to the wall these days which is understandable because he's trying to preserve his voice for long tours but he still has nsane vocals in him. If you like this I highly recommend checking out The Mayfield Four which was Myles' band from the 90s before Alter Bridge.
yeah you cant do a global tour for a year and go balls to the wall every night. he also says that he used to vocal warmup for an hour haha pre show which was unnecessary haha

If you go Walk the Sky, it's gotta be Dying Light followed by Native Son. My least favourite album but these two songs are special.
One of my absolute favorites of the Bonus tracks. I know from interviews with Myles and Mark the calibur of the song is not what keeps it from being added but it is space and if it fits within the overall "theme/feel" of the album. Loved watching your facial expressions during this. 😂❤🎉
Alter Bridge are so talented!
One of my favourites. Included on the Live At The O2 Arena+Rarities album. Myles' voice on this is sublime. Can never hear enough AB. Burn It Down would be an awesome song to review.
