Note Sorry for mostly filming Justin but I didn't have a good view of the other band members. I was in the 3rd row and heads and a purple ribbon were blocking the view since we were told to sit on the floor so the fans in the back could see as well.

This Blue October in store event was the first date my bf and I had. He came down from NC to TX to meet me. Now we are married and hopefully can tell Justin the next time we see them. :)

I am not sure why someone is complaining about them performing at a bookstore...I think that is awesome, it's more a private, intimate setting. Personally it is 2 of my favorite things combined...Bookstore + Blue October = Awesomeness

I honestly don't think I've ever seen another performer or artist "feel" the music the way Justin does. He is true to his fans!
If you google alternative music, Blue October is at the top of the list. As a true eighties metalhead, these guys blew me away on their foiled tour. Opened my eyes and ears to a new genre. Thanks guys for creating such unique and powerful songs, keep it up.... And come back to Louisiana soon!

I seriously love watching him do live shows...I think the emotion in his mannerisms while he's singing makes the songs even better! I've seen them live once finally after years of trying and it was the best concert I've ever been to =) love me some Justin lol
When he sings the song Fear it is sooo amazing. starting at 10:50 to 11:40 I could watch over and over. He is so talented

it just makes me so happy to see Justin happy, literally brings tears to my eyes!! He is always honest and genuine, wearing his heart on his f'n sleeve for the world to see!!! The truth in his voice, weather happy or pissed off EFFORTLESSLY shines through!!! They are one of my favorite bands, they are THE ABSOLUTE BEST LIVE, and I just love JUSTIN FOR WHO HE IS AND FOR GIVING US #BLUEOCTOBER!
Sway is great, I could listen to the these songs over and over Blue October this album is emotionally and musically excellent!!
I'm not a band guy. Not a concert guy. Seen them in concert three times. Him solo twice. Might be the most underrated band ever. Yes.... Ever.

Agree with all the thoughts below. Only left with one question. Why aren't these guys massively successful? They prove once and for all that there is still great music being made. You just never hear it!

Dave Chamberlain They are very successful. They play sold out tours every year, and have sold over a million albums. They have been able to make a good living as professional musicians.
I do agree that there is a lot of shitty music that becomes very popular. I don't really understand that. I think it has to do with the fact that there are a lot more stupid people in America that there are smart people.
The face that you can go see such an amazing band in such a small venue like a bookstore is just awesome...I dosent get much better than this!!!

Thanks for uploading this, I've been a fan for well over a decade and used to live in Austin, but I recently moved to Virginia and they never. come. here. And it breaks my soul into tiny pieces. :( Seeing this video healed it a tiny bit! :D

oh my gosh, these guys are so great. i saw them on saturday in boise.i have so much respect for justin and the others in the band. Blue October got me through some pretty rough times, and i cant thank them enough for that.

How did Barnes n noble keep the crowd so small? I wouldn't have been as cool!
The crowd was larger than expected! I was lucky to get there 3 hrs early and people were already lined up! All fans were suppossed to get a photo taken with the band after the cd signing but due to the larger crowd and Blue October having a performance later that night there was just no time for fan photos.

Blue October, Tool, A Perfect Circle. I will never get enough of the emotion Justin and Maynard put into their music.. thank god they are not mainstream ... hate to fucking hear lady gaga, katy perry sing like this I might have to end it all lol.

If you feel like you have to complain why Justin is the one mostly filmed then you can tell from my video the rest of the band from where I was sitting had either a purple ribbon across their face or a big head blocking my view. Clearly, Justin was the only one in perfect view. Be grateful to what is given to you by others. If not then go film one of their shows yourself or better yet buy one of their concert dvds.

please, do us all a favor and stop posting negative things about Blue October. if you really don't like them, then stop watching their videos, stop listening to their music. its really not that difficult. you have a right to your opinion, but frankly it sucks. you're very shallow and i dont appreciate you bashing on a band that i have loved dearly since i was a kid. i dont appreciate you bashing on the band that got me through the death of my uncle, whom i loved dearly. please stop. thank you.
