      My editing software was acting nuts at the time. It's the reason I put the time stamp for flying in the title. An interesting clip is a 3/4 scale P-51 kitplane flying over our heads just before take off. Neat engine sound.

    Hi Brian Blue,
    Greetings from Oromov..
    That was a very nice & professional flying ...
    Just want to know the following ..
    1. CIF quote for 1 gyrocopter(incld Insurance Freight shipment & accessories)
    2. Training cost & Training duration.
    3. Do common man required flying lincense or FAA clearance.
    4. Which type of Fuel is used.
    5. Is the engine radial or like inline 4 stroke...
    PLZ DO REPLY BROTHER

    • @sparkynapalm3662
      @sparkynapalm3662  3 роки тому

      Sorry for long long delay. 1. CFIs charge about $180 an hour...about same as private pilot fixed wing. 2. Trainings is about 20 hours. 3. You must have an FAA license. 4. 93 octane automotive gas is used. 5 The engine on this gyro is a 4 cycle 4 cylinder Subaru car engine with a gear reduction drive for the propeller

      This is uncontrolled airport...no tower. Pilots declare their intentions. This was a biannual flyin with multiple aircraft and the event hosted by the gyro pilot in this video. The 3/4 scale P51 you saw flyover took off just before we did and was informed we would be taking off right behind him. He made a left turn at take off , circled around and lined up left of runway for his high speed pass. This gyro along with the other planes were in radio contact for intentions, directional vectors, Altitude and more. You may also notice we landed on the taxiway which is common there with so many gyros since landing rolls can literally be 10 to 30 feet. Check out 'gyro geralds' gyro UA-cam channel for more...see Carolina Barnstormers Fly-in videos
