Abandoned Cinema Closed Down During The Pandemic With Everything Left Behind

- Join me on an eerie and nostalgic journey as we explore an abandoned cinema, frozen in time after closing its doors during the COVID-19 pandemic. With everything left behind - from empty popcorn buckets to forgotten movie posters - this once-bustling theater now sits in complete silence, a haunting reminder of the global shutdown that left countless places like this in limbo.
In this video, we’ll wander through the darkened hallways, peek inside the old auditoriums, and uncover the remnants of a place where memories were made and stories once unfolded on the big screen. What happened to this cinema? Why was it abandoned? And what does it say about the lasting impact of the pandemic on our entertainment spaces?

Movie theaters at the end of their life are fascinating places. What gets left behind, what gets salvaged for use at another theater.
It's in such good condition
Great video
Thanks for showing
Love seeing inside abandoned places - especially when someone else is doing it

Thanks again
Until the next one

It's not abandoned. They just closed this site as they built a new 12 screen cinema across town. This site was available to rent, and a let has been agreed. Planning permission is in progress.
That particular projector is a 35mm Christie projector that plays film reels. They had also upgraded to digital projectors.
Where is this? Could be cool to open it up again.
Don't think it really says much about the state of the pandemic when it seems to have closed at least a year after the last lockdown?
