Beautiful, thanks. The clan of raiders/fighters is Ikaruwok, and not Ikaribwok. There was misspelling. In Ateso and Ng'karimojong, ikarurwok (which is close to Ikaruwok) means raiders/fighters. The word, Ikaribwok/Ikaribuok has no contextual meaning to who Iteso were. Iteso Cultural Union, please correct the name of that major clan.

Not true. Sorry for disagreeing with you. I am a Kenyan Teso and neighbouring tribes which used to fight with Tesos explicitly talk of Ikaribwok(the name is "Bakariboko.") You are wrong.

@@sirtito2705 Sir, if you are truly an Etesot from Kenya, have you visited Kakapel in Teso North, near Angurai? I have. All Iteso (not Tesos) clan names are written there. There's nothing like Ikaribwok but Ikaruwok. Of course, other tribes could have used derogatory names. Should derogatory names be adopted? I have also been to places called Karewu in both Kenya and Uganda. Where Ikaruwok settled, they called that place Karewu. I am Ekaruwoit by the way.
