Step into the world of AKINCI with co-owner Renan Beunan, who opened the gallery's door to discuss their participation at Art Brussels in the DISCOVERY section with artist melanie bonajo.
melanie bonajo with AKINCI will offer a glimpse into their project "When the body says yes" that was initiated at the Venice Biennale in 2022, with a presentation of three photographs arranged around a video. Viewers will be invited to immerse themselves in the experience by sitting on specially composed seats that the artist has made in collaboration with Théo Demans.
melanie bonajo has also an institutional show at the FOMU in Antwerp which is part of our OFF Programme. This exhibition in on view until 04 June 2023.
