I think the only problem people have with anthony is that he claimed to be the greatest shooter, making him look arrogant, and for making excuses after losing.
Notice how the dude immediately tried to move to the top of the key when Kenny challenged him to a shooting contest. Because he KNOWS that's the only spot on the court he can consistently make threes. His world record is still impressive, but don't tout yourself as "one of the world's best shooters" if you know your shooting ability is limited to one spot of the court.

Just saw him on Gil's channel. They didn't mistreat him. They gave him a chance to shoot 3 pointers in front of a live national audience, and he choked. Nobody cares if it wasn't a perfect court to shoot on. Kenny had to shoot on the same court. He should have had fun and laughed it off rather than got upset. It's not that hard to adjust your shot if you have to shoot a lower arc.
Say that to yourself, if you been shooting from a different 3 pt line instead of the NBA 3pt line you'll choked too. You'll be in no different than Anthony stepping foot into something he never shot from consistently.

Peoples shots are different. Some people put a ton of arc on there shots (Steph Curry), while others shoot laser beams (Reggie Miller). Changing the arc is not going to make you nearly as consistent with your shot. The dude had a ton of excuses, but has a point about arc. Still should have played along without the excuses though.
