About 10 year ago or more when pastor Reinhard visit Nigeria Edo State crusade at ekewa RD by the university he was praying for those who are sick and l was passing by l decided to stay .l was having heart problem with severe pain all hope were lost of been alive waiting for the day to give off but on that day miracle happened after he have pray for the sick there was no sign in me been touch but did you know before I get home l was totaling heal praise GOD . by the grace of God I am a pastor now and l will never forget that day GOD will bless him and his family from generation to generation AMEN in JESUS name
Correct,we are taught in scripture to draw our strength from God the Father,Who He is in His faithfulness to us. This Holy Spirit power is not where we draw our strength from. Nope, not His purpose. The annointing that comes for us to be effective in witnessing, preaching, teaching,is from the Holy Spirit, but it's not power, it's life being given to our words that will reach man's hearts.

They love God and love serving, but it's draining work to be on the front line where spiritual warfare is strong. Sounds good to say that you enjoy ministry, but that leaves the impression that it's easy. Fulfilling I can grasp as you see ppl becoming rooted and grounded in their love for Jesus Christ. Many ppl fill out forms, but are not being discipled to develop true lasting faith in the Gospel. Numbers influence us to believe he's successful, but lets have fruit that remains. Amen Evangelist Bonnke! There are several levels in God. Those who want the empowerment for ministry will seek for more from God. I am one of those believers who wants God's power to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ. Thanks for sharing this powerful message. Again, I am a believer. If one reads the Bible, how can one doubt this spiritual experience? I believe more Christians need to read the Bible for themselves and they will see that what Reinhard is preaching is the Gospel truth. It's all in the Book of ACTS.

I like the fact that you mentioned God's promises. Within the last few months I applied the "spirit or principle" of James 1:2-1:8 to preparing myself for a Godly relationship. During this time after my initial water baptism 7 years ago, I also truly started to just get into the word.The relationship did not work out but I committed myself fully throughout it. After the breakup I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, I also received spiritual gifts again that I lost as a child 30 years ago. Read the Bible, study it intently, pursue your hearts desire in Faith, watch it manifest, and receive the Holy Spirit and seal to God.

Pulling words out like God approves of them. Do you notice a pattern? Bonnke is more about signs and wonders. The comments are mainly exalting Bonnke or being excited about power. Where is the weeping that comes with godly sorrow? Stop fooling yourselves and get busy studying the Word of God and knowing how to answer when an unbeliever asks about why you believe, how do you know who wrote the Bible, how do you know there's a God,why does a loving God send ppl to hell? Are you going to show them signs and wonders? Are you going to tell them about power? Or will you be equipped to know how to answer questions that will bring them to faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Then they must be discipled to have a firm foundation so faith can grow. Acts 1:5 ; 2:4. Then we read in Acts 4:31 that the very same disciples were again filled with the Holy Spirit. In relation to 1 Cor. 12:13 it would appear that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a single blessing received at conversion while the filling can and should be, ongoing.

It will be recognised if someone had received the holy spirit they would speak in tongues..( strange languages) After we received the holy spirit anointing we need to be holy not to be lead away to evil ways. Filling in the spirit means go to church and filling again with his power.. For every people they would receive different anointing power .. To cast the demon from other people preachers should a different anointing power or gifts.. Its god's decision to give the gifts.. We need to be very very holy.
This tongues obsession is risky and not all of God - demons and so on involved i'm sure. This idea of tongues is often learnt and it's without translation. It could be demonic or fraud. Lots of works righteousness involved to acquire it and no reliance on the gifts of grace. My personal view is tongues, on the whole, was the gift to illuminate and speak to all nations in one voice in a way they could all understand so as to spread the Gospel and break down cultural barriers and languages. This gift today is with those gifted to speak across languages, cultures and do evangelism and mission in new pioneer ministries. It isn't about babbling syllables that aren't useful to anyone outside the own persons mind and those who know them and buy into it. Power is in getting up and going out with the spirit to people with Gods message...
BungleZippie I agree that some tongues are definitely demonic. There are cults outside the pale of orthodox Christianity speaking in tongues as well as outright pagans. God dispenses the real deal (as He has since the Day of Pentecost) according to His will and we need to be careful about putting a boundary on what God determines the gift of tongues to achieve. They are His spiritual gifts and the validation of those gifts seems to be anchored in the presence of good fruit as per Matt. 7:15-20 -- to the edification of the Body of Christ as per Eph. 4:12,13 ; 1 Cor. 12;7ff. For sure, our power (spiritual enabling) is for the spread of the gospel but also its defence when those arise who are aligned with the world/Satan attempting to present it as a social, good works programme rather than the explicit warning to repent and believe the good news message of reconciliation to the Almighty.

I like the fact that you mentioned God's promises. Within the last few months I applied the "spirit or principle" of James 1:2-1:8 to preparing myself for a Godly relationship. During this time after my initial water baptism 7 years ago, I also truly started to just get into the word.The relationship did not work out but I committed myself fully throughout it. After the breakup I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, I also received spiritual gifts again that I lost as a child 30 years ago. Read the Bible, study it intently, pursue your hearts desire in Faith, watch it manifest, and receive the Holy Spirit and seal to God.

Stop fooling yourselves and get busy studying the Word of God and knowing how to answer when an unbeliever asks about why you believe, how do you know who wrote the Bible, how do you know there's a God,why does a loving God send ppl to hell?
Are you going to show them signs and wonders? Are you going to tell them about power? Or will you be equipped to know how to answer questions that will bring them to faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

There is much confusion with respect to the filling of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. On the Day of Pentecost, those who were gathered in the upper room experienced both cf. Acts 1:5 ; 2:4. Then we read in Acts 4:31 that the very same disciples were again filled with the Holy Spirit. In relation to 1 Cor. 12:13 it would appear that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a single blessing received at conversion while the filling can and should be, ongoing.

baptism of the holy spirit are gifts received from God.. It will be recognised if someone had received the holy spirit they would speak in tongues..( strange languages) After we received the holy spirit anointing we need to be holy not to be lead away to evil ways. Filling in the spirit means go to church and filling again with his power.. For every people they would receive different anointing power .. To cast the demon from other people preachers should a different anointing power or gifts.. Its god's decision to give the gifts.. We need to be very very holy.
This tongues obsession is risky and not all of God - demons and so on involved i'm sure. This idea of tongues is often learnt and it's without translation. It could be demonic or fraud. Lots of works righteousness involved to acquire it and no reliance on the gifts of grace. My personal view is tongues, on the whole, was the gift to illuminate and speak to all nations in one voice in a way they could all understand so as to spread the Gospel and break down cultural barriers and languages. This gift today is with those gifted to speak across languages, cultures and do evangelism and mission in new pioneer ministries. It isn't about babbling syllables that aren't useful to anyone outside the own persons mind and those who know them and buy into it. Power is in getting up and going out with the spirit to people with Gods message...

I agree that some tongues are definitely demonic. There are cults outside the pale of orthodox Christianity speaking in tongues as well as outright pagans. God dispenses the real deal (as He has since the Day of Pentecost) according to His will and we need to be careful about putting a boundary on what God determines the gift of tongues to achieve. They are His spiritual gifts and the validation of those gifts seems to be anchored in the presence of good fruit as per Matt. 7:15-20 -- to the edification of the Body of Christ as per Eph. 4:12,13 ; 1 Cor. 12;7ff.
For sure, our power (spiritual enabling) is for the spread of the gospel but also its defence when those arise who are aligned with the world/Satan attempting to present it as a social, good works programme rather than the explicit warning to repent and believe the good news message of reconciliation to the Almighty.
god will not forgive who speaks against the holy spirit.. Baptism of the holy spirit means- receiving power from high i.e holy spirit anointing ( jesus would give u the holy spirit) when a person receive he/she speaks in tongue... ..
filling in the holy spirit means renewing in the spirit.....
God builds us slowly in the spirit....
