If you return ans seek God ans say these words to God, if you tell God... acknowledge your mistakes and sin to God ... ask his forgiveness, and ask him to cleanse you of all unrighteousness & restore you ... he will 1st John 1:9. He will do what his word says. You only need to recommit. Stick with it. Keep seeking him. Ignore contrary feelings. Those are from the enemy. Step outside of the negative and push towards the Lord. Read the scripture if something you need, turn it into prayer. If something you fear judgment for, then be brave and say God I don't want this, please have mercy and forgive me. Give me a right heart a clean heart and renew a reight heart within me (psalm 51). As God to make you right and wash you with his blood. Again Ignore and rebuke feelings and thoughts of doubt. Ask for forgiveness and cleansing. The Lord WILL do it. No one is perfect. We all have to watch our steps and repent when we misstep.

There are only three instances, in scripture, to where we are told of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened the moment that they recieved.( Acts ch 2,10,and ch.19). In each instance, the first thing that happened was that they spoke in tongues. Three repetitions of an event or something said is important. Its' purpose is: 1) For the Word to direct our attention to an important scriptural truth 2) To set a precedent so that the same curcumstance repeated elsewhere in scripture need not be told in as much detail.

Letting everyone know that church membership is NOT a requirement in the New Testament. NO where are those born anew of Holy Spirit instructed by Holy Spirit to join a church. Not once did you mention that we come to Jesus Christ primarily for the forgiveness of our sins and saving us from hell and death. Any person who has truly trusted in Jesus Christ has received the holy spirit already. Romans 8:9-11 "Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is none of his". The word tells us that the Holy spirit ALWAYS points us to Jesus Christ, not to the spirit himself. We are not to seek after the holy spirit, or "experiences". Look at the charismatic Church (contemporary church movement), seeking after tongues, visions, dreams, and "heavenly experiences", and where that has led false teachers like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Todd White, and others
And how can we be baptized if all the churches are sleeping. Not one church in my community has stood up for the oppressed. They willingly closed their churches drinking in the lies of the devil. Thhe Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. To be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to be filled to overflowing. I was aware of the Spirits' presence near me and filled with the Spirit before i ever recieved the Holy Spirit. After repentance and water baptism, in the name of Jesus Christ, one must fervently pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit until God anwers their prayer and fills them( you will know when it happens). Then we must yield the one part of us that we cannot" tame", our tongue, until the filling overflows signified by our speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues is the only initial evidence given that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit when they recieve( Acts ch.2,10, and 19). At that monent the Spirit unites with our spirit. We have now recieved the Holy Spirit.

Open your mouth? That's ridiculous, but I tried it. Nothing. I've prayed about this extensively and I believe God has revealed the truth of it to me. God sees the heart. The Holy Spirit is for the obedient. Acts 5:32 says it and especially John 14 says it. If we love Jesus, we will keep his commands AND THEN Jesus will come and make his home IN US. God will not empower someone who is not going to use it for the kingdom. Why would God empower someone who is unwilling to be obedient and do the work God calls him to do?

This message is false teaching. Tongues are languages in scripture. No one today receives the gift of speaking in another language today. They did at the time of Pentecost for the purpose of spreading the good news of Christ. The other thing is no one is baptized with the Holy Spirit anymore. The baptism of the Holy Spirit came for those who were baptized by the teaching of John the Baptist. They didn’t receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit until after Christ was crucified. There is no magic formula. God knows what you want before you ask. You can ask Him in your own way with your own words, as long as they are without guile and from an honest heart.

How to receive Holy Spirit?
There are only three instances, in scripture, to where we are told of believers recieving the Holy Spirit and what happened the moment that they recieved.( Acts ch 2,10,and ch.19).
In each instance, the first thing that happened was that they spoke in tongues.
Three repetitions of an event or something said is important. Its' purpose is:
1) For the Word to direct our attention to an important scriptural truth
2) To set a precedent so that the same curcumstance repeated elsewhere in scripture need not be told in as much detail.

Thhe Holy Spirit is recieved as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. To be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to be filled to overflowing.
I was aware of the Spirits' presence near me and filled with the Spirit before i ever recieved the Holy Spirit.
After repentance and water baptism, in the name of Jesus Christ, one must fervently pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit until God anwers their prayer and fills them( you will know when it happens).
Then we must yield the one part of us that we cannot" tame", our tongue, until the filling overflows signified by our speaking in tongues.
Speaking in tongues is the only initial evidence given that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit when they recieve( Acts ch.2,10, and 19).
At that monent the Spirit unites with our spirit. We have now recieved the Holy Spirit.

If no man knows it, then its not a language native to this world. Paul says that when he prays in this language,". my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.."( 1Cor.14:14). In other words, he says that it is his spirit praying a language he doesn't understand.
Unless a believer speaks in this language upon recieving the Holy Spirit, they have no scriptural backing that they have recieved the Holy Spirit yet.

I've prayed about this extensively and I believe God has revealed the truth of it to me. God sees the heart. The Holy Spirit is for the obedient. Acts 5:32 says it and especially John 14 says it. If we love Jesus, we will keep his commands AND THEN Jesus will come and make his home IN US.
God will not empower someone who is not going to use it for the kingdom. Why would God empower someone who is unwilling to be obedient and do the work God calls him to do?

This message is false teaching. Tongues are languages in scripture. No one today receives the gift of speaking in another language today. They did at the time of Pentecost for the purpose of spreading the good news of Christ. The other thing is no one is baptized with the Holy Spirit anymore.
