Oh, HELL YEAH!! The first concert I ever saw was way back in '76: Nazareth, Slade, and the Ian Gillan Band at the Bismarck, ND Civic Center. Slade owned the place, and me and my buddies all but blew out our vocal chords screamin'! This is rock and roll, and this audience is a bunch of zombies.
Young people spend all day on crap like Tiktok and Twitter,Snapchat,Instagram etc so they they never develop any imagination like our earlier generations did.

At this moment, they trascended everything and were THE BEST BRITISH BAND EVER.The intensity of Slade '71-'73 has never been equalled by anyone except the Ramones 76-77.

Reminds me of my 16th birthday last time I seen Slade Live. Best Concert in my life ever. The stadium concerts of today just dont match a dark theatre with idiots hanging from the Gods and Noddy crown surfing. Those were the days.
Back in 1974, when my parents were telling me to go to bed, a tape recorder was turned on in the next apartment and I was listening to the Slade band. Listened and fell asleep! So, in the USSR I fell in love with rock music.
Slade were fucking good! I was priviledged indeed to see them live - but on a big stage. I'm very jealous of my big Sister, though. Being a few years older she used to go and see them regularly in the early days when they had a Saturday night residency at the Connaught Hotel in Wolverhampton. 200 fans in a cramped basement club - Oh happy days! I asked her recently how well she remembered hearing them. She said very well, but you didn't really hear them, you more... FELT them! ;-)
