I love sitting on the balcony at Gino's, watching people try to navigate that launch. It can be pretty comical.
Eric I just wanted to thankyou so much for your videos over the years, from Jigging up browns in Milwaukee, racine,Oshkosh,to bottom bouncing lake Delavan walleye,to Geneva night walleye info,Michigan smallies, your a true Midwest fishing legend, and have to be one hardest working guides I have ever had a pleasure to learn from, also ice fish one of your milwakee seminars, thankyou so much for improving my fishing knowledge your a true wisconsin treasure, and one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure to learn from Eric thanks agian
Thank you Eric-great tips! Geneva’s very tough to fish. Thanks again for adding pieces to the puzzle!
I can relate to the boat launch scenario. My cousin was trying to launch the boat with my brother, and my bro said the trailer was floating with the boat! They figured out quickly, the boat was still strapped down to the trailer. Better that than not putting the plug in!
A very accurate assessment of Geneva Lake. Your success that day blew me away. Great content again. Pig walleye, SM over 20" and a laker - that fish alone would have made my day. I have been resisting video fishing AKA forward facing sonar but this video more than any others I have seen has me rethinking things. For now I'm a one trick pony for summer walleye, finding bait out in the abyss and pulling generally cranks and some spinners w lead or snap weights. I think we all would prefer the rod in hand and the Panoptix or other brands make that possible. Here is hoping that the guys at Garmin find a LVS34 (?) that they can give you to show case their newest 'ducer. Tight lines!
Awesome video! Love your energy 🎣
Great catches too!
This is awesome! I do the same thing up here in northern WI works very well! Great video guys!
Learned A Lot. Thank You Eric. You Help Make Great Memories.
Good work!! Fun to watch the deep water suspended fish casting!!
Thanks for the great video Eric! You are the man!
Very insightful. Pretty awesome tactic, and entertaining, as usual.
Okay okay Eric you got me. I'll buy some damn Haat spoons... Good stuff as always brother.
Amazing video. You got some skills Eric!
You are the best! Still trying to work out how you only 55k subs. Keep them coming!
Thanks for the great compliment 👊
Speaking for all us deaf people, think 🤔 you can get the CC working!! Really miss all the good info you put out,and the crazy 🤣 stuff too!! Good video 😊, nice fish!!
Great video, first time I fished Geneva we were trolling for lake trout in August of 2012 and we caught 2 smallmouth trolling sutton spoons, one at 50 feet and one at 90, both were over 20 inches
I got a whole box of them last year and just used today jigging spoons on inland lake in Waukesha County. Success!
Love to here that!
Omg.. nice fish... keep up
From Roscoe Illinois, going to fish Geneva this weekend
Super cool video .,, I live in Sault Ontario Canada and fish super clear water St Mary’s / Lake Huron an Lake Superior so I understand how hard it can be catching eye in Gin clear water ,,, I notice your chest gonpro dies a lot , what I do is use the media mod an plug into a beehive portable charge an the battery last for days it eats the sd cards but beats missing anything. 🇨🇦🎣
Wow. I was fishing over tha last 2 weekends in a tiny river where you can't troll and I was thinking how can I present spinner with a crawler to walleyes. I did the same rig and casting to walleys without even seeing this rig before 😅😅 awesome video man 👍
powerdrive v2? I got 2 of em you can use for bait on 1 lb test in the deepest part of the lake.
Still a prototype,,,,,,I want one or three.
What knot do you use for floro to swivel?
Better oxygenation in clear vs dirty water. Translates to more active fish, they tend to be less lethargic.
What's the best bait to cast for lake trout
What kind of line do you recommend? Braid with a leader?
Yes 10 lb braid 10-12 Sunline FC sniper
I want to visit and go fishing with you 🙂
Sign behind tells all!
Hello sir🙏 woooow i like video fishing very nice👍
hey eric where is the best spot to fish for kings in wisconsin from a kayak?
Probably Port Washington
@@wibigfishcom that’s what I figured
Thanks
I have already seen the insta post it’s haat spoons out in 100 foot 🤷♂️🥰
Love the vids bud!
What a day, hi wonder if jigging spoon will work in tinted water,….?
Absolutely I’ve crushed them in stained water
@@wibigfishcom thanks I’ll try it this weekend.👑👑👑👑
Good electronics are hard to come by not everyone can afford them maybe a few videos on the old school ways without electronics. Maybe you could show everyone how to use a descending rig Taro has a cool one
Eric, great video! but why does it always look like someone put a grenade in your tackle box? ...baits everywhere...
That's what I was thinking too.....😄. Obviously, he spends more time fishing than he does organizing his boat and tackle. Great video though and taught me a few tricks that I can use in Northern MI lakes that are very similar to Geneva. Charlevoix, Burt, Mullet, etc.
Eric
You owe me $3200 😝i fish geneva pretty often and since your vid’s I had to buy the livescope however I am not mad I caught my first lake trout in 84’ haha so thanks for helping me out
Where do I find these spoons?
Tip: to catch summer walleye live in a state where DNR stocks them. Haha great video Eric! Keep it up.
1/2 or 3/8? Video you said 1/2 the video descriptiom says 3/8...Also your dealers in the locator do not carry your spoons...Two locations I called and visited did not carry your spoon..Both in wisconsin...online only in wisconsin?
Why you launching on the wrong side?????
You might as well keep these fish because walleye pulled up from more than ~ 30' are going to die.
So have a several thousand dollar piece of electronic......c'mon man. I used to live there and dang near every lake up here in northern Wisconsin is clear. Find the structure using the lake chart and troll some deep crankbaits thru there. Walleye on
It really doesn't look like it's hard to figure out.
Search them out on the radar and drop any lure for them to bite.
Your videos are great and the info is as well, but they'd be a world better if you weren't constantly talking about your go pros dying. Get more battery's or SOMETHING lol
