Yeah bc this season was supposed to be about frank letting his family and past go so he can embrace his punisher side and stop fighting for himself and start fighting for the city. This season isnt about frank getting revenge. Its about frank finnally saving the "girl" who symbalizes his family and letting go of the past by killing billy and doning the punisher fully. Him never getting his ring back showed that. (Btw this is my view on it im not sure if its accurate sorry

tsxtermanation sy however if that’s the case, why would netflix axe other marvel shows at the end of their second season, like daredevil and luke cage, then leave punisher, on such a vital, very deep cliff hanger, especially as this is one of only series to have so much detail, and hook watchers in by feeling remorse and other emotions so deeply. I want them to keep this series as it’s my favourite one to watch overall as I actually feel for the people and that rarely happens overall to everyone
@@sic2loose894 It's not cliffhanger. Frank accepts who he is, that he was always like this and nothing really changed. He accepts that he is The Punisher, that he can't leave normally, that his destiny is to spill galons of guilty blood, to punish guilty. And it's perfect ending. Closed and open at the same time.
Season 2 of punisher feels like an entirely different show

Coda Daniels honestly, I felt the same. And it’s not a bad thing by no means.. I think with him helping the teenager, it brought out the more parental side of him that we didn’t really get to see in season one... they did try to put in a little more humor here and there (but they didn’t over do it, thank god).. I think what I really loved about season 2 was that there were no “filler” episodes . That was my issue with season 1. This season stayed very focused on the narrative and didn’t allow itself to lose track of things.
@@joshuaadams3255 I think the "filler" episodes made S1 final episode more epic, S2 finale felt a bit empty. The way Jigsaw's plot ended was really disappointing,all that hype and they just wasted him.
Season 2 was bad except reflecting Frank's psychology.

When Daredevil was about to kill kingpin He remembered Frank saying "you're one bad day away from being me" and that's why he let out that painful scream because he knew frank was right and was having the internal battle to hold back and not be like him.

Because he gets to see more of the Punisher? Daredevil, like Batman is a morally confused fighter who fails over and over because his enemies know what he won't do. Never let your enemy know what you won't do.
I watched season 2 just for the punisher.
I was lucky enough to meet Jon and let me tell ya I was seriously kinda spooked with him around, he’s that good of an actor.. you actually think he’s that person but when you start talking to him it’s so different and he’s so nice. Thanks for signing my Funkos and comics👍

What everyone fails to see in this show while thinking it's just a bad ass punisher shoot um up is how the director really wanted to expose and bring PTSD out into the light through this show in it's most raw unfiltered form. As much as i love this show i can really feel these characters pain and struggles and i'm sure any vet that has gone to war feels the same way.

For a combination of reasons watching this series was/is/always will be honestly one of the most unforgettable EPIC viewing experiences of my life !!! RESPECT TO MARVEL

this is one of the best punisher edits i have seen by far well done, when i see punisher edits it always starts emo and then goes into kill mode (me included) coz no one could keep it engaging throughout the whole video but you just showed the conflict in his head without showing the other side and still kept it interesting, amazing work truly.

Every person who's knows frank or met him never realised it that what he is something that's needed I'm not a religious man but I believe the world knew it needed help and it decided to make frank castle make him into its punisher and executioner
The brilliance of the writers and the actors, season 1 made me hate billy for what he did, then season 2 made me feel heartbroken with the conflict between Frank and Billy, it made me feel bad for billy especially the end :/
