This video explores five invaluable lessons learned from climbing legend Adam Ondra's online content. These tips and techniques will elevate your climbing skills, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned climber.
🔸 Lesson 1: The Right Way to Heel Hook
In his Altitude climbing course sample lesson, Adam emphasizes the importance of proper heel hook technique and teaches us how to place one's heel for maximum power and injury prevention.
🔸 Lesson 2: Warming Up For Maximal Effort Bouldering
Adam's UA-cam videos are full of knowledge. In a recent training video, he shares his warm-up routine that prepares his body, especially his fingers, for maximal effort bouldering.
🔸 Lesson 3: Growing Your Fingernails for Easy Gains
A surprising tip from Adam and Magnus: grow your fingernails slightly longer to improve grip on small crimps.
🔸 Lesson 4: The Value of a Good Spraywall
Adam explains how training on a spraywall can provide a more consistent and varied workout compared to traditional gym problems or training boards like the Moonboard or Kilterboard.
    🔸 Lesson 5: It’s Okay to Obsess
Adam's dedication to climbing, particularly in his journey to conquer Silence, the world's hardest sport climbing route graded 9c, teaches us the value of passion and obsessive focus.

I rarely comment on the videos I watch. This was the first video I watched from your channel and I felt the need to say that this has been unexpectedly great in the production value and information provided in a consise manner considering the video's length. Really enjoyed watching it and want to see more from what you make. Subscribed! :)

Thanks so much! That means a lot! The goal is indeed to not make videos longer than they need to be 😊 Welcome!

Kmon, in which situation is it better to use the rubber part while hellhooking? Can only think of resting with kneepads, but its way more frequent to use the toes in this situation, isnt it?

Definitely toes when putting a knee bar! I'll give it some more time but if no one gets it I'll comment the solution here! 😉

So what I was going for is how when you heel hook around an arrete or on a large volume you actually use the rubber because you're actually using you foot as a hook.

Magnus Midtbo. Also, I enjoy studying the movement of Jonathan Seigrist, since he has a style that I want to emulate.
