Thank you so much for watching! Hope this helps you in your figure drawing to better tackle those un-interesting poses or subjects! What have been your breakthroughs in drawing? I'd love to hear about it in the comments :)
Another great job Siobhan! Alas, I’ve gotten behind again in watching your videos. Am now catching up. Like your philosophy on combining contour with gesture principles. So many ways to draw shown/described on the internet. It can get confusing. I like you philosophy.
Thank you Rolf! I'm aiming to do 2 videos a month, as it's the most i can do at the moment, but glad to hear you are still interested in watching! Appreciate your support :)
I love this idea, Siobhan. Like you, I'm always scouring for poses that appeal, but maybe there's more to be learned from ones that don't. This model is beautiful. I have often thought of drawing her, but none of her poses leapt out. I think I'll try one now. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thanks so much Kasandra! I agree, actually she is one of my favorite models to draw, very natural poses - not overly "posing" lol! Thanks for watching, really appreciate it :) I have been away from instagram for a while, must catch up on your work! :)
@@Drawing-LifeI agree. Her poses are more natural. I, too, have been away from Instagram. I'm working hard to improve my watercolour skills and it's taking most of my spare time. It's funny because I feel like I do my best figure/portrait type work in charcoal and pencil. It's a huge curve to paint figures - like learning the figure all over again. I didn't think it would be like that. I'm taking a break from the frustration of that (haha!) and doing some more charcoal, so I'll post some again soon.
