    So, what do you think of getting married early?

    • @ALIEN_857
      @ALIEN_857 Рік тому

      I don't know if my observation is on spot or not, but Americans generally tend to jump into marriage far more quicker than changing cars.

      Hahahaha that's not the goal but it's a nice byproduct 🤣

    The Pros and Cons depend on Couple's own goals. If the goals require them to start earlier, example to have 6 kids, then it's better to start earlier, vice versa And the pros and cons follows. Finally, wish you both happy marriage until your hairs all white. :)

    Great discussion guys! My wife and I married relatively early at ages 20 and 23, respectively. But we are still continuing to learn about each other to this day at ages 48 and 51 respectively. We have 2 daughters in your same age range, and we're learning about them too and their early adult life just now as changes in their way of life and thinking are taking place. Not to mention, these are different times compared to the early 90's when we were literally fresh out of college. I think it's just a matter of context and what the current climate or situation of life is to what the advantages or disadvantages of getting married early are for couples. There's definitely uncertainty and anxiety, but that comes with the territory and basically in all aspects of life. The one "advantage" I see when marrying and having kids at an early age is that as parents, you can still keep up with them physically and them not having to take care of you that early but that's still not an assurance. It all depends on the parents' overall physical health and well-being. Love your vlogs and keep up the fun and entertainment! Greetings from California!😊

    Have babies! They are the best. Also life does not come with a manual. So we learn as we go or we learn from people that have more experience than us.

    One more China trip and it's baby time? I think that's too soon for a carefree life and travel the world while young. I mean you can still do that when you are retired but would lack the stamina for more adventurous stuff (like hiking, skydiving etc) while doing those travels. I think can travel to a few more countries in each continent first before that first baby comes around. Maybe we can watch your travel vlogs within USA or neighbouring countries at least. Having a baby is a full-time job which also can bring about more stress for parents. But... if one is mentally/emotionally/financially prepared for it for the next 18 years till he/she leaves for college, then ya i guess. These days most couples will just have one or two kids because it's a huge financial burden esp if you want to give the best to each. In some countries like in East Asia (eg. China/S Korea/ Japan), couples with just settle for one or none at all because of the huge financial burden. Even govt incentives didn't manage to reverse the current trend. Not sure about USA, but 3-4 is really a rare outlier in East Asia.

      Mannnn what you are suggesting is tempting but hey your youtube handle literally has "travel" in it so feeling a little bias here looolll. We will see. Hopefully we can have some help from both of our families when it's baby time and we get some time to ourselves as well.

      @@mikeandgwynn Yes, travel is one of my hobbies (expensive hobby though!). I like to accumulate nice experiences and captured them on film and i focus less on material stuff. Through travel, I get to learn and experience different peoples, cultures and landscapes of each country.

    As long as you have economic stabilities and mature in relationship then doesnt matter to marry early or late.

    I think there's something to be said about having an 8-hour workday where you're physically separated from your S/O so that you're not together for both business and private lives. Pretty sure couples that work together are statistically more likely to encounter interpersonal issues. Also, common-law couples that live together prior to marriage are more likely to divorce. I'm personally not the biggest fan of the institution of marriage, but I understand that there is a lot of utility in terms of couples not being able to run away every time a disagreement arises. It forces the two parties to reach a mutual consensus so that the relationship can continue operating smoothly as opposed to just easily breaking up because of the obvious legal and financial ramifications.

      Since we are both self-employed, we spend a LOT more time together than a couple that both have 9-5 jobs. And yes you are absolutely correct that more time together = more potential conflicts. But in our opinion, working through those conflicts make us stronger instead of weaker as a couple and as a family. If the only way to make a marriage work is to barely spend any time together, is that really a functional relationship? Something to think about. And 100% agree with your opinion on the institution of marriage.

      Not sure, in China there's a concept called 闪婚 which means lightening marriage. I think there's a lot more stress to get married quickly in Asia.

    The gov will support you and your babies if your incomes are not enough.
