- A little demo of my main Strat. It's a partscaster that's taken three years of messing about to get right.
Fender Custom Shop '61 Neck
6100 Fretwire
60s Roadworn body (It sounded better than any of the custom shop ones i've had on)
Crazyparts block and saddles (raw vintage pictured but have since been changed)
Fender CS top plate
Raw vintage springs
Unkown preCBS repro guard with Fender plastics i aged myself
Mark Foley 'Scott McKeon' pickups currently installed.
Inlays replaced with imitation 'linollium' pre CBS style.
Running threw my 1967 Super Reverb with an AKG C214 and a D5 as a room mic.

😂😂😂
Beautiful guitar and playing.
I went down a similar rabbit-hole with a strat build, I went for a '66 Brazilian rosewood finger board in Daphne blue I got lucky with the weight too at just over 7lbs.
It's a lot of fun and frustration with these builds but quite addictive!.
Real fender tone!! Amazing!
Btw the road worn 60s is from mim’s?
It's incredible sounding. I'd have to name her Sybil. That might be before your time, lol she had many personalities..
Question... is the 65 reverb you have good for home use at a lower volume?
I have a 66 with a Master Volume. Still to loud when you want the Tube Sag. For cleans amazing
