I think this sold me on it. I had watched another run-through where the camera wasn't as close to the pieces and I figured I'd get it just to be a completionist, but doubted how often I'd play it (and forget combining it and Pantheon!). Now, I think I might... I'll just have to make sure my opponent is VERY familiar with each expansion, first.

10:50 you are wrong, the decree does not reduce the purchase price of the card! but buying a brown source from the bank. so you should normally pay for brown wood. I preferred not to watch it further.

May I please ask a question:
If you have control of the Decree token chamber which is a "Blue card +2".
You have just acquired a Senate card.
Which is correct?
If you have No Blue cards, do you have
2 Senate actions 0+2=2
OR
If you have No Blue cards, do you have
1 Senate actions 0+1=1

Hey, I would say that the +2 is a +2 even if you start with 0, but I could be wrong, have you checked the rulebook?

@@BoardgameswithNiramas I've seen others have them flipped the other way to have the cube fit in between the decree and board

@@BoardgameswithNiramas yeah, that's how it's described in the manual. Arrow points outwards so the influence cube fits in the gap

Boardgames with Niramas I also saw your other video on the insert from Folded Space. Did you prefer e-Raptor over Folded Space? (Glad to know that e-Raptor fits everything. We also have the metal coins.)
@@melissajankowski1809 Yeah in this case I do, theres other times where I prefer FS over eRaptor, but this insert is so well made and in general I do prefer wooden for the looks and smell haha, but in some larger games where theres 4 players around a huge board and such then the FS solution with having many small boxes with resources etc that can be spread out on the table is awesome.

Rules say adjacent "chamber" not section. If you could place one on the respective section THEN move out of that section...whats the point of a senators restrictive section?
Hey, yes placement with senator cards are restricted to a certain section, but the move action (that you can get from among others places, the senator cards) are from any chamber to a adjecent chamber. I played this game a lot on board game arena and its clear there.
@@BoardgameswithNiramas so your saying its confirmed the move influence (even from a senator with multiple moves) is acceptable to go from say left chamber center section to right chamber right section?

HEy, sorry I made a mistake, I got the expansion the day before! I would give a little margins for error for people making you free content :)

Sorry, but at rules: “Pay 1 Coin less for each resource (Brown or Grey) that you buy from the bank.
Important: You cannot obtain resources for free from this effect; the minimum cost you pay is always 1 Coin.” So, you can’t buy free brown and grey cards. But you did it twice.
