Love that row counter - I have one that is made to be placed on the needle but doesn’t work with larger gauges so I need to find this one! Lovely sweater as always - and can’t wait to keep seeing your shoes

A great way to spend my Friday evening watching your lovely video. As always beautiful projects, I love your shawl but like yourself I find triangle shawls harder to style and am drawn more to rectangular scarves and wraps. I hope there wasn’t too much damage from the tornado. 😊❤️

I have those plastic row counters from prym too. Mine are little cylinders so I thread a ribbon through and use a stitch marker to hold it on the knitting. They are functional! I have your in and our raglan recipe in my mind for a future project. I am currently spinning on a supported spindle and want to try knitting with the yarn as a single, held with a silk mohair. I feel too lazy to ply it , so I am curious to see how that works out. On a scarf I think so that any bias doesn't matter. I was in vietnam once when we had a cyclone. It was terrifying as we were away from home, but in hindsight it was exciting!!
Beautiful knits, thank you for sharing, I also don't like the bib effect of some shawls and wear them off the shoulder and around, similar to you with your last wearing. You rock those boots!

I was nodding my head at every comment you made about the triangle shawl. Most useful to me has been a closely fitting cowl that's just tall enough to cover my neck and chin, and fits nicely under my coat. I would be interested in knitting a crescent shaped shawl, which doesn't have the "bib" problem and can be worn as a scarf. There are many beautiful patterns, but I haven't made up my mind yet. No triangles for me!
I think I have to find some inspiration of how to wear it. I got a nice tip that Andrea Mowry gave good suggestions in one of her videos. ❤

Loved the sweater and the shawl! I have knitted the Soho square and I just love it so much. I am listening to you this morning wearing it. It is so so so relaxing to knit. And the result is stunning. It is the shawl that I bring on the airplane when I travel: warm and stylish. On the high heels subject, go for it! I love wearing high heels boots and the ones you are wearing are beautiful. When my daughter got married, the only pair of heels I could find that seemed right with my dress were very high. Like you, I had gotten used to wearing flats and so for several months before the wedding, I would put on the heels and wobble to the laundry room and do the laundry before taking them off until the next day. It worked. Good luck!!

I loooove you videos! Your voice is so relaxing! About the counting row have you tried the digital ring? I have a bunch of them, they are very cheap, and I use one for every wip. I wear it on my index finger so I can always check the number and I click with the thumb. It is authomatic now, when I pass my BOR marker I click 😂
If you take you project bag around I suggest to keep it in a little box as you might click the button for mistake
I saw those rings but have never tried one... I'll check them out. The thing I'm using is very practical, it's just that I don't find it very pretty :) ❤️

Your shawl is beautiful. I am like you I don't like wearing them in front. I feel the cold on my back so I always have the wider part at my back or on one shoulder and wrap it from there.
I've been putting the triangle on the side for now and it looks all right. Still a lot of experimenting to do ❤
I'm having a cosy Saturday morning what a lovely surprise to have you for company. Your crackling fire made it even cosier.I bought two lots of the Fleurville yarn and can't wait to use it now I've seen yours 🤩. I'm currently working on a Chocolate brown Weekender light by Andrea Mowry ( she does good video on how to wear triangle shawls)and I was procrastinating and
thinking it was boring round and round garter.But then your last video made me think about allowing myself to be in the moment, enjoying my knitting and not been tempted by other patterns then at me by the knitting algorithms, thankyou for making me think, have a lovely weekend xxxx

Love your knits Ivana...and yes please! share your "back into heels" journey!! I want to do the same, I have all these fabulous shoes and only wear comfortable stuff so I am totally unable to wear anything anymore and battling weather to definitely give them up. I do not have stilettos but I can't even wear thicker heels. any tips and instructions are helpful, so please show us! Love to see your heels 😍
I find wearing them for shorter periods of time really helps. That way your feet can get used to the pressure ❤❤❤
@@therepublicofme I get a lot of pain in a lot of different places, and I have bought a gazillion gizmos but still...also I can get cramps afterwards because I have been too long in flatter shoes...I guess it really is a training...👠👠👠👠👠

It's a poke bowl we get from the Asian restaurant I love it. It has rice, salmon, sea weed, edamame, carrots, and some other things inside. ❤
