Just a quick heads up to all the new viewers. This video is NOT a complete guide on HOW to make money the best way. This is me simply playing the game, having fun and also showing you how I MYSELF make money in this game. Of course there are tons of other and better ways, but this is my way and i thought i'd share with you guys my story. Let me know some other ways you guys make good money :D thanks.
Ruan Smit I mean, they are right, if you cremate the body you gain the cert, The first one wasnt that good of a commentary, but the cremating bodys works
Here’s some ACTUAL HELP, Graves ---- If early game Remove blood and fat to remove 2 red skulls, if more then 2 then just burn the corpse ( but first remove all parts in the autopsy ) If later in game up to 5 red skulls can be removed with use of embalming allowing better quality grave, This helps on the day of Sun where the higher the grave quality means more cash. Which Prayer to start? Use the original prayer till you can get a silver or higher prayer , which prayer to use after? Use the combo prayer it gives the same as the money prayer but also gives you faith to boost you later in the game. Farm --- Early- make compost to create peat which improves crops. Buy and sell products to Miller and Farmer, Later- improve products with fertiliser and you can sell Bulk silver and gold products to the merchant that can’t be sold to Miller and Farmer, each bulk of products are distributed in crates at the garden, for prices of 7.5 silver coin for silver tier crop and 11 silver coin for gold tier crops Wine and Beer ---- Buy hops from Miller, buy Grapes from Merchant, you can improve quality from Fertilizer and grow it to the west of Witch Hill, from the inquisitor, Convert the hops and grapes into beer and wine which can be sold in the Dead horse tavern and gold tier beer at the witch burning Food, ---- Don’t sell the meat that you get from the corpses, save them for late game to make Gold tier Burgers this will help obtain 33+silver on every inquisitor day in which Beer and wine can be used for a repeatable quest. Use spare grapes for Pie, spare onions for Fried onions etc and can be sold for a good profit .
This is spot on! I naturally gravitated towards this strategy as I progressed through the NPC’s missions. It’s the most consistent way to make larger sums of money. Especially if your pushing for the aristocracy.
Tip for new players: Now that you can burn bodies, Its better to do that rather then throwing it into the river. By burning the body you still get a burial certificate whereas throwing the bodies in the river you get nothing.
To add on this, you can also get a second burial certificate from bodies you've exhumed and cremated. So far as I've seen, there's no need to stuff them into a funeral urn afterward, as there is no practical award.
Easy ways to geld gold: Beginning: Sell Iron products or just coal to the smith-> enough silver for the start of the game Mid: Sell Bakery stuff and bronze beer to the tavern, other foods as well -> ur oven at home just can run all time with bread or sth like that u Also get the trader early mid game that allows u to sell up to 10 boxes a week = 1.5 gold every week... that means ur done with ur struggle to get enough gold --> Make a zombie Chain to get iron- make it into simple and improved iron parts and make those improved iron part boxes to bring them to the trader this can be made full automated with 6 zombies and u have min 10 boxes every week, with better zombies even more.... Thats for me the most efficient way to get good money. The prayers in ur church are a nice extra - but the faith is in the beginning much more important. just get at first a silver combo prayer and ur fine for a while.
I found Honey to be very simple to gather ton & tons of by making the Bee Farm & you're basically never going to run out of energy after that. it's also 25 energy each. Make sure to get the Bee Keeper perk. Also didn't even know the game was 5 years old, that's something i love about these types of games the graphics stand up against time. Unlike games they try to make to realistic.
So I'm playing on xbox 1. I'm over 380+ Graveyard and maxed church. How I make money is quite different then grinding before. This game gives you a variety of ways through the quest lines. However, I will say that how I did it in the early days was burning bodies, burying, massive farming with "quality" fertilizer. I then stocked up all my veggies to sell via the merchant in crates (more silver per yield). I sold lots of iron ingots. What I did was open up the path north of the church. The place you gather bees (another big help early game as well). When you open the north, go north and then west. West will have quarry where you can farm loads of iron. Take some iron parts with you to build a stone cutter, furnace, trunk, and ore cutter. I basically farm 400+ iron and just let it cook for weeks. I sell out the black smith and usually have plenty left to sit on the rest of the game. Doing wheat + turning them into muffins - selling that kind of cheap stuff seemed like a waste of time compared to what I was doing. Lentil Soup in the cabin is bomb. Be sure to bring loads of coal :)
I feel like your title is misleading that way. You named it like a tutorial on how to make money and not "Play Session No.:15" as it shouldve been. Feel clickbaited.
@@heimatbund idk how is that a clickbait, its a gameplay of him showing and talking about his ways of making money. thats better than those 2 minute long videos that are hard to understand sometimes because of the lack of detail and dedication
If the body sucks take everything from it and burn it, you get the certificate. make food, use it for energy and sell the rest make beer/wine this sells exstreamly well.... make gettting this a priority if you need money.
If you get the lumberjack perks you will get 9 firewood each time rather then the usual 5 so you can sell that. Also each shop has some greyed out items. Those are the items they will buy. You can sell iron parts to the blacksmith. There is a perk that gives you extra parts in blacksmithing.
Two ways i reccomend pretty easily making money are making wine once you have the vinyard unlocked and if it is silver or under it goes to the tavernkeep and if it is gold sell it to the merchant. Also selling gold star crates gives a lot with the merchant company
This video is hella old and has a bunch of misinformation, but the basic take away from it is very simple and holds true: you make money by selling people things. Fish to the fisherman, wood to the woodcutter, stone to the stonecutter, crops to the farmer and miller, metal to the blacksmith, weed to the hobo, and meat to the tavernkeep.
I understand all about bodies and skulls and all the rest you explained over and over, not in the least bit interested in that, this was supposed to be about making gold.
dunno why nobody talks about this but, a great and easy way to make money is to just make nails and simple iron parts, you can sell them for 20 and 40 each to the BS. in other words, and since you can buy iron from him for 80, it means, you can make a quick buck pretty easy by just making those nails and iron parts.
You can just put any body in the graves I've done it and got 30+ on my graveyard just keep every body you get and burn them later. You have to use paper to get science on one of those church tables and don't forget to hold the sermon every week you need the faith for research.
Zombie automation aside, Go mine coal across the bridge west of your house after you get the skills to fix it, or buy the parts. If you wanna get the parts early, sell stone and bodies (if you wanna bother with bodies that early) buy the teleport stone asap
If a body is bad that your intention is to burn it/throw it in the river, then you should also remove the skin as well, you are already going to just destroy the body but you will need lots and lots of skin later in the game so as well saving it up early.
can we talk about how the donkey wants carrots just for delivering bodies? like i really struggle with planting those and he just casually wants some for bringing me some dead ppl😂
You think the stone stuff is good? Imagine marble headstone and fence. And yes after 2 wks Donkey stops bringing bodies on Purple day BUT unlike beta (this) when he informs you of this he ALSO now demands OIL to fix his squeaky wheels and demands 10 carrots PER body which you will place in a newly constructed box by the morgue and the carrots must be put there before you'll get a body. On the day this happens he will not leave till he has the initial 10 carrots and oil. For days and days he'll wait but don't worry the body will be fresh once you complete his demands. You can buy carrots in town and I believe he drops seeds prior to this strike (it looks like shit or chewed up and spit out seeds lol) . The OIL comes from the crazy man named DIG on the way (slightly before apple trees) to Astrologer/ Lighthouse (far east). This guide is outdated and I hope he makes an updated one. Cause there's is literally NO comprehensive guide for early-mid to late-mid game (only very early or very late lol) . Around donkey strike time you will most likely be confused on absolutely EVERYTHING you're doing lol. Have fun!
an interesting tip about the donkey "gift" on the road... if you don't clean it up for the carrot seeds, you can run over the pile for a speed boost, handy for travelling!

Why does this video have about 55% likes and 45% dislikes? I just started like a week ago and think that the tips and tricks are helpful, as are the comments.
I think it's because the video is rather old. Whilst it must have been really good when it came out, there are some parts were it's lacking and that aged like milk. It's still nice for absolute beginners, but if you want some more info then the comments are better. It's a pity since the video is rather entertaining and informative, a newer guide for early to mid game would be perfect. (Specially with the rather dynamic pacing of this guide, some tutorials just feel like a very slow lecture) I also started playing recently (2 days ago) and I'm thinking of trying to make a guide once I complete the game. I think that'd be useful for new players as the game can be pretty confusing.
A lot of dislikes on this video. I'm going to watch it all and figure out why. (23 mins later) What brought me here was the title and now I know why some call it clickbait. Middle of the game, the money ramps up fast, like 15 gold for a certain quest line. This is noob tier chump change. Almost looks like you played it blind for a few hours and said this is how you can make a silver here and there. It's okay advice for a blind beginner, but that's it. Nothing special. I really do like this game and I'm trying to win it legit without mods or cheats. It seems to me that it's going to take many IRL real world hours of farming / brewing / bar sim for me to get the kind of money I need. I'm not looking forward to this tedious task, but it is what it is. Not a bad video, Sharky, but it's got a misleading title. If you added "for beginners" to your title, you probably wouldn't see this dislike ratio. I didn't smash your dislike. I did give you a view, comment, and watched most of this video. All that helps (You) out in the long run. I'd edit the title if I were you. This video is more geared toward the "I just started playing the game an hour ago. How do I make silvers?!" crowd. This isn't for the soul crushing mid-game when you are told you need 15 gold. Cheers, mate.
You should consider changing the title of this video. I came here to see how to make money fast and easy. Not get a tutorial on what skulls are during autopsy etc, when I've already got 100days+ ingame. This is just very misleading, and frankly, quite annoying.
They had a patch yesterday that makes the game freeze completely And if you haven’t slept in a couple days and reload you lose all your progress for those days it’s very frustrating
This seems a tad outdated. Burying bodies is way less profitable than cremation for starters. And I feel like it's far from very profitable in any case, considering something like coal can net you closer to 5 silver for a stack of like 100 and is much easier and faster to grind. Also why would you just chuck the body when you've messed it up instead of at least gathering all the body parts and saving them for future use? That's a waste of carrots if you ask me.
That is because decor has to reach past the red to start giving graveyard quality so if you have a body with two red and two white and put on a decor item worth 4 then you will get two quality.
I sell iron, nails, simple parts and complex parts to the blacksmith for $$$. I find it the easiest since iron deposits are quite common and easy to come by. At least early in game. But I was wondering, does anybody buy pottery ?
How is this clickbait mate? lol Like, I'm literally explaining and showing you guys in this video, how I make money fast and easy in graveyard keeper for tips? That is the title, and if you watch the FULL video, you will see me show you how to actually make money fast and easy.
@@SharkyGamess you're right, it's not clickbait, it's just dumb. Theres no need to make a 23:43 video at all. No one wants to watch it, my suggestion is to do a 5 to 10 minute explanation on all the ways you can make money. For example, "you can sell stones to cory for 20 copper a piece. Then you can make simple iron parts or nails and then sell them to the BS. After progressing through snakes storyline, you can sell packages of meat to him once you obtain the stamp"
Good video but bad save game :) You dont even study body parts. Edit: Change my mind, video is good for beginning, after stamps, merchant deal, better church with your tips you have no money ;) do some quests !

Selling coal to the blacksmith is the best thing I've come across.
You can just mine a coal vein and in 200 (you mine I️t in 30s) you get 12 silver atleast

If u mine it in 30s u can't get 200 genious

I get a 70+ graveyard and 20+ church and then make any donation prayer and you get around 1 gold per sermon
Dig coal
Fill all slots
Teleport to dead horse
Sell coal to the blacksmith
Teleport back to quarry. Repeat...
take a shot every time he says "money"
I'd be dead 2 minutes into the video
Cermating gives you a certificate
how does graveyard value affect anything? i have like 30 or so and unlocked church
The better your graveyard is the more money you make from sermons.
church quality = MORE people per sermon, graveyard quality is more CASH per person at the sermon.

3 white skulls minus two red skulls equals to zero? 4:19 Haven't played this great game yet but something's amiss here.
But I was wondering, does anybody buy pottery ?
is it possible to exhume bodys? Do i need a certificate for it, because without you cant dig it up.
Need to change the clickbait name. Terrible money making tips. Nothing to see here. Don't waste your time.
I don't know whether it's just luck but removing intestines has removed a red skull for me
The brain, heart and intestines all have the same effect this guide is quite incomplete.
nice trick!! thank
I sold many fishes to the lighthouse keeper and now, he has 2 gold coins and 30 silver coins.
These click bait videos always get me. Smh
I got about 3 mins in at 2x speed... Read the comments... Didn't watch any further :)
Wine sells for a lot
