this is lovely! I hated the tree the first time going through it lol, a billion bubbles flying at you while the entire ant population of Australia is chasing you...
Honestly, if you can get through the first branch, it’s the best dungeon in the game. It’s open, but not too open where you can easily get lost like Leyndell.
I think this is by far the most lived in world they've created since Bloodborne. It does feel like The Lands Between were once a majestic place, but now lie in ruin.
I was originally planning on disagreeing with you and mentioning DS3, but the DS3 world isn’t really “lived in” it’s just broken down and destroyed by its remaining inhabitants.
I hope with every fiber of my being we get a DLC focused on Miquella and his possible return. Out of all the Demigods Miquella seemed to be the one with the noblest of intentions (ridding the Lands Between of Outer God influence and curing both himself and his twin of their respective curses). And I'm just dying to know what could possibly happen if Miquella were to return in whatever form he may take and what his reaction to what happened in his absence may be. Will he try to heal the world? Or attempt to destroy it further? Maybe some third option? Will he be ally or foe? Will he be cured of his curse or changed into something he never intended or perhaps remain the same as he was? The possibilities are endless and that's why I'm hoping Fromsoft makes it happen sometime in the near future because Miquella's story if allowed to continue could be the prelude to one of the most compelling characters in the Souls franchise.
Yeah I would love it to be something like miquella being an npc or something that you could help in the dlc. Maybe you fight him as an introduction or something but being able to interact and help the character would be an interesting take by from software
Elphael when I pronounce it sounds a lot like "Elf Isle" and that's exactly the vibe I get from it. It's this sequestered island that feels just like an elven village in the trees, and is very reminiscent of LOTR and what visiting an abandoned elven settlement would feel like. Having lost it's former glory, but still a place of unparalleled peace among nature.
I just want to add that the beginning lore to the video along with everything else (the music sync w/ the text fade, the statue of Malenia embracing Miquella, etc) gives me chills on nearly each listen. Very appreciated extra touch to a relaxing video!
This part of the game reminds me of the effect of Stickerbrush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2. The first time the music is introduced is a level with the first steep increase in difficulty. It is a daunting level, but the music is so calming, almost acting as a counterbalance to the level's design. Similarly, this is one of the most difficult legacy dungeons in the game, but the atmosphere feels so calm, but also sad. They lost their savior, praying and watching for his return, and the ambience that is set, really helps keep you grounded as you get blasted by everything they throw at you.
This whole area has “melancholy” written all over it visually and in regards to the music. By the time you reach the bottom of Elphael you’re so beaten up by the difficulty that part of you wants to join the knights sitting in defeat waiting for the world to end.
First playthrough when I got here fell in love with this check point so much beauty from alook but more you look around the more you see the truth of this awful tree
@@Ramsiene this is kind of an odd request, but do you think you could maybe upload a version of this that includes the sounds of the bubble-blowing ball shaped dudes that are in the Haligtree branches? The single note those enemies play with their instrument goes well with this song! I think recording from the Haligtree Canopy site if grace would work. Again, this a weird request, so I don't expect you to actually do it since you already uploaded this video, but I think the music of the weird bubble-blowing ball dudes adds to this song.
Sorry, using google translate so I hope this is right. We will look into Caelid tower and try to find a good location to record. Thanks for the suggestion!
While this may sound like reaching, do keep in mind that we first treaded along the Mountaintops first before descending into the Snowfield. And, by extension, Miquella's Haligtree. The Motif resemblance is likely due to Miquella's shared history with the Mountaintops in the form of Castle Sol, and the Eclipse that he wished to bring about in order to restore Godwyn's soul. And, in that, lies the resemblance. Perhaps this was the composer's motif for Miquella, hence why we hear it in both of these areas
moment of tranquility before you witness true horror
The fear of the unknown is the greatest horror of all, the fear of quietly rotting away

Gonna go with DS3 here. but its close.
U can thank GRR Martin for that

I think a DLC where you could save Millicent would be good

Well we’d have to do some time shenanigans with Mohg because he kidnapped and sorta killed Miquella.
@@Senriam He didn't kill Miquella. He wanted to ascend him to godhood and become his lord-consort
Well, I hope you saw the news!
I imagine my character coming back, and attempting to rebuild the unalloyed golden order.
Without the proverbial "fly in the ointment" ?

i'd love to live there back when it was civilized, imagine all the fresh air you can get there.
I feel as though the composer is telling us that Miquella is alright

my favourite location in the game
I need this in 8 hour for sleep
First playthrough when I got here fell in love with this check point so much beauty from alook but more you look around the more you see the truth of this awful tree
Thank you so much for doing my request, this is perfect!
No problem, glad you like it! 😊

Thank you very much for these! I use them to study all the time! Keep up the great work!
You're welcome! ☺️

Hi this is the Divine Tower in Caelid. Hope this is to your liking 😀 ua-cam.com/video/8mIGY-1EOEw/v-deo.html
DONT GO IN, ITS A TRAP!
Ty for this beautiful gift, may i have the thumbnail link please? I cant play elden ring yet i embrace its music already :D
After watching some Tarnished Archeologist i cant forgive misbegotenfor destruction of Haligtree.
Are there other options besides relax/study?
I expected this to be one hour of discordant honking in different pitches, kinda disappointed tbh
cringe farts
worst level in the game 😪
Why
I love Elden Ring but im sorry this is recycled Mountaintops ambience. We all know FromSoft get lazy sometimes
