Hello , I’m that Knito you mentioned . Ofc it’s just one twitter account saying all these stuff , but from what I’ve seen on the CN side (bilibili , I’m Chinese) This situation is very much real , you could argue it’s a vocal minority (as stated by the OP themselves) . But that minority can be very destructive and ofc go to extreme lengths . If you just piece together what we already have nowadays : Firefly doxxing drama , AP male character incident , edit : (new game CN only) GuilonChao glc incident . It just shows how corrupted the CN side is . Though I’ve heard the government is taking action by implementing laws against these crimes . Only time could tell if anything will change .
@Nakirakira About the GLC incident : The incels said glc should be call otome lmao then proceed to harass the team for release kinda a lot of male characters too but im glad as a new game glc still follow what they believe and said they'll make a 1:1 ratio in releasing char, (not really right now but it's their plan, currently it's 10 females : 6 males ) One of its GLC devs made insulting comments towards male players. And devs has long ignored opinions from male players ( Basically only listening to female players ). This has led to the game being hated even by Mihoyo haters, as most of them are male. it's 2024, either 1:1 or Closer to 1:1 If Kuro manage to redeem itself : either give 2.1 to 2.X back to back males, kuro can use the females as reruns so the best ratio : 17:21 or 18: 21
Honestly this just tells me a lot that CN just feels time and time again for special treatment and entitlement, they will go radical lengths if they don't get what they want and if global gets anything they will also do their utmost to destroy those rewards (bunny girl incident), ironic how people then wanna say "Westerners are Woke" or something as soon as they get the opportunity
Company: Releases only female banners Husbando collectors: Saves for 5 patches Company: Releases male banner Husbando collectors: Pulls enough for guarantee and weapon without spending Company: Wow male banners don't sell very well Edit: Troll in the replies, do not engage with them
yeah like bro i got both jiyan and xiangli at rc1 and their weapons easily without spending anything and a few days ago i literally uninstalled bc i've lost interest and my hope for a scar banner in the near future is gone 😭 i'd be willing to tip them but they are NOT giving me any reasons to
EXACTLY, there are some games out there like aether gazer and ptn that legit has not released a male in over a damn YEAR and they expect it to sell? either balance it or just focus on 1 mygad
This^ I didn't spend any money on his banner because I wasn't sure I would stay. But now that the issues are mostly patched, I *would* throw my wallet at him
@@DiamondCityLights true, since most gachas play the waifu route so that’s kinda expected at that point, but he still would have performed better than he did if not for the messy launch. (I mean, two of my waifu collectors friends wanted him really really bad and ended up not pulling for him because they couldn’t even play till the point where you unlock the convene function lol)
not to mention men banners benefits waifu collectors too. it gives them time to save and gather resources for their desired waifu. atp husbando enjoyers could guarantee any character they want with weapons as well. i was able to raise xiangli yao to level 90 day one because i pre-farmed for him and looked forward to him. the problem is that because of people having enough to get their husbando for free just by dailies, it results in less revenue and the argument about how men "don't sell". it's a cycle.
@@NeIIy i am free to play and got all characters accept the males but the ratio is fine in my eyes it 7 male 14 female that is a real life ratio so i don't see it being an issue those crying about are just dumb.
I'm just worried because Kuro is a good listener yes, but they sometimes listen TOO much to the point of having no backbone. I mean, the entire Wuwa story was overhauled from scratch players complained the cast was too hostile, but now they're way too nice. I remember one particular annoyance I had with Kuro having no faith in their creative choices was when they changed Alpha's BRS collab skin to have a ponytail instead of twintails. Because some players complained "twintails didnt suit Alpha". The skin was supposed to be inspired from BRS to fit Alpha, and some of the most important visual motifs was the color blue, star symbols and twintails. Changing the hair basically took away from the skin's identity as a BRS skin so now it kinda just looks like a random star motif skin, not a BRS collab skin. Kuro needs to have more faith in its creative choices, while still keeping itself open to criticisms of gameplay and technicality, yknow where complaints actually DO make objective sense compared to creative choices which are subjective.
That's probably why I'm not playing Wuwa because of how Kuro handled on their story backlash. If it's really negative then it should be fine to make story correction and yet the only negative back then was that the main lead was not receiving the main lead hero. Like come on that's like the most generic main lead gacha game there is, they had the opportunity to be unique on their story but they back down. At that point who knows what they do when getting criticize and bending so easily on things that should just stay as they are.
I do hope that Kuro does release more male characters. Their designs have been a breath of fresh air and I’d love to see what Kuro can do with other aspects and archetypes. Especially seeing what they’ve cooked up with so far
talk with your wallet, if you want more male characters then whale out for the few male banners you got to show the devs that people actually want them instead of just complains on the comments sections, like they say, talk is cheap.
@@f.b.l.9813 Actually ppl have been doing that. Look at xiangli yaos popularity. Mans a free character yet there's lots of ppl c6 him and his weapon already
It is so much worse comparing the two is downright ridiculous. Twitter hasn’t gone on record killing and skinning cats because they looked like a video game character and CERTAINLY didn’t send an actual fucking bomb to Mihoyos HQ over some bunny girl skins. Even the idea of comparing the two is so incredibly disingenuous when there are no parallels to draw between the severity of their actions
@@ryuki9788 Twitter is just really loud and obnoxious, meanwhile the CN community actually does heinous stuff over gacha games. They're both pretty awful though
Genshin also had this problem once because Hoyoverse’s games always has more females.Wanderer was hated by CN players because one of the reasons was they released too many males in Sumeru.
@@ThảoVyTrần-j4m that's stupid af ngl because inazuma only had 2 (itto and ayato) 3 if counting kazuha but he was released pre inazuma and inazuma had 5 women (ayaka, yoimiya, Raiden, kokomi, yae) Sumeru had literally had a balanced ratio.
The want for more men is mainly based on leaks, apparently we aren’t getting any until 2.1, which is a while especially knowing how good the male characters look in the game. Just wish the cn community wasn’t so arrogant
@@mraksoveech unnaironically honkai impact 3 (yeah the game that would sooner kill devs than have male playable characters) has this guy, ofc he is dead the stop any shipping from taking place, but is literally the best bud of the previous era protagonist is this kind of guy . something that non Hi3 dont know about the game is that it puts a LOT of time and effort in its canon male characters, some have entire 50 cap mangas and 10hours visual novels outside the game spending their past. and ingame they are the leaders of all 3 factions in the game, and are presented as heroes and the saviors of humanity. yes 2 of them becomes the 2 main enemies in the game but the player has a lot of respect of why they do what they do and a lot even agree with them. but they are ofc not playable outside parts of the history (yes the make playable males for the player to use for 30 min and never again.)
im a guy but i also want more males cos of the fact that they're more likely to feel unique. theres been so many female chars in gacha that you gotta nail so many different aspects of their design in order for the char to standout and i like wuwa's female chars but i feel like ive seen all them before in other stories. But this is less likely to happen with male chars just cos theres way less of them in gacha
technically this is true but when i look at all the female 5* releases and xiangli yao i think almost all female characters still look better and more unique than him so it's not always the case. xiangli yao looks like your typical shoujo love interest lol
Unlike you, I am not gay and therefore I want more women. There are already too many lolis and schoolgirls in the game and therefore the characters for gays reduce the number of women.
I 100% agree I'm a female and you think I want to play as a female character all the time now I do not I want to play as a mild character I want to explore his character I want his for his story but I just feel like that it's only Katy towards those who want only female characters only but as I said if they want female plays the price is going to need to add some more variety not just pretty little females for some men to oogle over what about us girls we want to Google over men too
It depends on the quality of it... If the quality is low, it will be another Concord If the quality is high, it will probably reach from Snowbreak to NIKKE level, depending on the gacha system
I really don’t get gacha players who only want female characters. Us boys all look up to spiderman, batman, and superman as a kid and we thought they’re cool af. Why can’t we have those for gacha games too?

Correction: Jiyan is still the top selling wuwa banner in japan even with wuwa’s rocky release, yinlin banner is currently 3rd place, while jinhsi is 2nd. You can check this data in game-i website About lee low sales is probably because kuro nerfed him to the ground on his release and he doesnt have time stop which is a meta
Personally I think Lee still slaps, but having only 1 time stop that goes on a cooldown really gates him. It's similar to Bianca, afaik. Still, he's heavily catered to women, so that's probably a big part of why he's unpopular.
If Kuro wants to have male character's banners be so rare and few every patch but absolutely put so much effort into them, I wouldn't mind it. I'm holding my opinion until 2.0 banners XD However, I can understand the frustration. Also as someone who's willing to spend for male banners, it's like they don't want us to spend XD
Kuro rarely releases male characters in PGR, but when they do? Whew! Are they so damn good! Regardless of people complaining about Lee, he is still a very good character with having one of the greatest chapters i. PGR
I whaled for Yao even if he is free and made him S4, and also sent feedback directly to them both in survey and the normal way, this is the most I can do. Also the Yao event in JPN last weekend was super popular. I hope that they realize the potential. I think he attracted a lot of people to the game, so it is in their best interest to not lose those clients by making them wait too much for another character.
One thing I want to point out is that WuWa has given very few reasons for Husbando enjoyers to spend on the game With Jiyan 'free' from beginning story pulls as the first limited banner, and Xiangli given out for free regardless, there was nothing for players to spend on other than sequence nodes or their weapon. Just like how a lot of waifu players say 'eww, male, skip patch', that's exactly what husbando enjoyers are doing for consecutive patches in WuWa. How can we blame male characters for low revenue when people never need to spend to get them? Waifu enjoyers have been feeling a ton of pressure to spend because of how many characters have or will be coming out. Give husbando enjoyers pressure to spend as well with more new characters. We know they can spend because of Love and Deepspace's performance, just give them a reason to.
I think people are purposefully missing the point of your last comment, as I completely understand what you mean. I think this comment greatly sums up what you said in the video and even adds on to it.
@@devildante9 why does it bother you so much that players are "whining and crying" about the lack of male characters? it just means that wuwa has a diverse playerbase that is not composed of only straight men that only want waifus in their game, otherwise people wouldn't be complaining in the first place. even if there are more men than women playing wuwa, the fact that the gender ratio has become a daily topic of discussion means that it's an issue that needs to be addressed and not disregarding saying stuff like "leave and go play other games". if people can complain about QOL stuff, story, VA and so on then people should also be able to complain about a game that was advertised as mixed gender not releasing enough male characters. people are not asking for an equal gender ratio, people are just asking for them to release male characters more often. having two patches (three, if the leaks are true) back to back with only female characters is honestly ridiculous ratio for a game like wuwa that was advertised as a mixed-gender game and that wants to reach global success and have a "broad playerbase".
They are doing this move because of the P:GR Male Characters Incident. I'mma say they will be doing this and placing Male Characters in patches loaded with Astrites or giving them a free Limited 5-star like Xiangli Yao in the future. So it will be hard to get good revenues in the future male banners. Oh yeah, we also need to factor how predatory LaDS systems compare to WW.
Exactly omg like as an f2p, I have Jiyan and Yao, their weapons, AND all the other male characters in the game except for Lingyang and I still have +200 pulls considering I pulled for Yinlin as well.. Even if a new male releases after 1.4, I will manage to get the characters and the weapon 100%. How do you expect them to sell if you give us MONTHS to save 😭? I mean, sure, I'm glad, but this is a gacha game, I wanna use my currency and pull, not save for god knows how long to finally pull..
This is why I wish there could be a game where its just male characters, like there's so many female character only games out there. (Who knows, if a game like that does release, players like them might troll and come play the game saying "why arent there female characters?") Now, when we get games where both genders are present, toxic ass ppl like this come raiding and harassing players who are not like them. "Oh, just play tears of themis/ love and deepspace if you want male characters". No bish, interacting and actually playing the character is different. Why must we limit good male characters to only dating games? (Side note, this is why I like obey me cause mc doesnt have a fixed gender, very inclusive!) We can even uno reverse card them by saying "Oh you dont want to see male characters added? Go play HI3/ Goddess Era etc." Also the part where they killed a cat that looked like scara... are you shitting me rn?? Sometimes I wish we can ban ppl like this permanently. Like please, get help.
I also like Obey Me because they don't tell you if you're a male or female. Also, I hate it their way to reply to it is just play Love and Deepspace. It's not even the same kind of games LOL. And I also hate that some of them think it's gay to have male characters. Like wow...
Scar and Geshu lin will be One Of if not The Most Popular Character Banners in WuWa ever. I've wanted Scar and Geshu Lin from the start but I think Kuro is saving them for a better time. My favorite character rn is Jiyan and I chose Male Rover over Female Rover. I want more Men... 💀 (Not anything Of Sus)
Ye no lmao. You really think male characters gonna get higher revenue than female characters in a gacha game... Shorekeeper and camellya will easily break records from before, and theres a less than 1% chance of any male characters breaking these records.
We all look up to spiderman, batman & superman back when we were boys bcs they’re cool. The internet forgot that and now they act like its gay to want to play as male fictional characters
no, not that. genuinely do not understand why women like that kind of design. it doesn't even feel unique or anything, it's just out of place, in a bad way.

THIS! When especially you yourself play as female MC its like...where is the male characters and to female players something it can be painfully obvious you aint the wanted demographic of players. They need to add more male characters and stop making female characters that look like children in sexy oufits. The difference in female and male oufits is also kinda stupid...Male characters can sometimes be predictable and boring but female characters its always a bathing suits with 9999 ribbons and lace shit. women make up pretty much exactly 50% of the gamer demographic. and we’ve seen from love and deepspace and other husbands gacha banners just how much money female-oriented characters/games can make, especially when there’s not that many high quality fighting games in that niche. I understand the loud and horrible incel minority in CN (and even global) communities but it never made any sense to me how little gacha games wanted to cater towards literally half of their whole playerbase and not release more sexy male designs. there’s always way more women characters than men and the few male designs are often just boring and/or completely covered from head to toe and barely sexy (compared to half naked female characters)
I came up with a joke one day: if male players do not respect hopes and wishes of their fellow female gamers, then they do not deserve a waifu irl :D I personally would also curse all their pulls for the whole lifetime, lol.
i don't give a damn thing about the male players harassement to those who want male characters in wuwa, just look at the design and gameplay of the latest PGR characters (lee hyperreal, noctis indomitus, watanabe epitaph and wanshi lucid dreamer), those characters tell you that Kuro knows how to make really good male characters and also just by reading their chapters you will like them
that's exactly why they complain though ? "Oh man, PGR has incredible husbands ! I kind of want to play this game seriously now ! ok let me see current meta teams... oh there are 6 teams of 3 characters...oh we have 2 guys and 16 girls ! OOf...Ok lemme check if I can go half meta half casual and see the slots I can downgrade to put characters I like in there...Oh half of them don't even *have* an option for downgrading. Okay but Uns DO have very cool husbands...Wait uns are scrapped as a concept ? And both Selena and Qu became omns, but Roland, Noan and Camu are still in jail to this day ? Well, anyway, these guys are so cool, I can just play casually and get them skins...Oh they have 1 to 2 skins to average, and they're usually free and no SFX. No gacha skin to this day." People got mad for the Lee situation for a reason, and that reason is just not Lee himself. They just thought if one character could escape the trend it was him...And oh boy what a rude awakening this was. So yeah they stop caring. I enjoy both guys and girls + the game as a whole so I'm staying, but you just cannot say with a straight face that male chars don't get absolutely shafted in every department except design/writing quality xD
HSR's Argenti and Boothill also had the issue of power. Like, they're both some of the strongest characters in the game in a gamemode, but in both case that gamemode was released AFTER their banner was finished
I stand with the sentiment of more male characters, if one comes I don't care much for I save resources. If one comes I like I get a new cool character to play with. That fan derangement do be crazy tho, for sure plays a role
Well i heard that love and deepspace actually is the game with more gambling than WW, that's are one of many factors make husbando enjoyer spent so much money on it. And yeah, the situation with male characters might not be good until 2.0. But... As a one of some people who hype for Xiangly Yao since the drip marketing like me, im quite happy for what we got right now. And we also had Jiyan as maybe the best trailer in WW so far. So i hope that although the ratio of male characters might be low, but each of them has to be really memorable in some aspect
I definitely think male enjoyers got a great treat with Xiangli being free, but the idea here is that there's a LOT of potential revenue from male enjoyers across the globe, as proven by LADS' success. Spending in gacha games has to start somewhere, and when a player spends once they're a lot more likely to spend again. With Xiangli Yao being free, and Jiyan being the first limited character (enough pulls in story to go to pity twice without spending), any husbando enjoyer essentially got both male characters for free; if all they wanted to spend money on was husbandos, there's no actual reason to in WuWa other than getting their sequence nodes or weapon.
Love and Deepspace player here: yes it is probably one of the most predatory gachas out there currently. I'm nowhere near f2p, but even so, I need to focus on only one love interest if I don't want to go broke on a gacha game (having a few of them to play). And even with that, it's really hard sometimes. While I love the game, the fact that every single story in otome game which is in fact, story driven game is hidden behind the gacha system is just annoying. Especially when it comes to the Myths section which is huge lore chunks for every LI (well, Myths are about their past/future incarnations and their relationships with MC). There's no "grinding content" aka getting very important Memories (cards) for free, but you need to grind hard. The fact that there's no schedule (aside from birthday banners), no roadmap, sometimes banners are back to back with no break in between is really tiring. And it's not like we have a couple of weeks for a banner, some of them last for around 7-10 days which is extremely short, compared to the amount of diamonds (premium currency) we can actually get from dailies etc. Sorry for the wall of text, but having all of these factors (plus many others, I don't want my post going for ages) really does their job for the high revenue. LAD is unfortunately really expensive and hard to play without spending rl money.
@@saintontas yes! I really want to see more male characters in WW as well in the future. But aside from the potential of revenue, Kuro also have to consider the way chinese players will react to certaint information as well. Look at Genshin Impact, i barely remember the time they actually doing something the players ask them to before of WW release, but i do know the cases when Zhongli come out and Neuvillette nerf incident. They took action so quickly when chinese players got problem. So if such a company like Mihoyo back down from chinese community, imagine how much more impactful for a company with good interaction with players like Kuro have to consider
@@saintontas true but honesly, it's not even just about the revenue. female players and husbando enjoyers as a whole are basically free promotion for the game. they make tons of edits and fanart related to the game and its characters and it keeps the community engaged and brings in new players, making the playerbase more diverse. that's basically how i discovered wuwa in the first place, i kept seeing fan edits and fanart of scar everywhere and a lot of people were thirsting for him.
I'm a straight guy, I will go for waifus over husbandos 90% of the time, and I'd be a hypocrite if I said that I don't enjoy the current ratios of waifu:husbando in gacha games overall, but I would be a bigger hypocrite if I didn't admit that women also play these games and that they have the right to get some good looking fellas to oogle about when playing a gacha they enjoy. So, as long as the characters that get added are cool looking and have some lore relevancy? I don't really care that much if they are waifus or husbandos. I would pull for Jiyan if I had the funds, I enjoy destroying ToA with Xiangli Yao, and I'll probably want to pull for Scar because he looks awesome, and if he's a card-slinging psycho like in the story I might end up saving up to get him! But, at the end of it, Kuro is still a Chinese company so they will cater to what the fans in China want, and they want waifus over husbandos for the most part. That being said, going to extremes like the stories we've heard about, is insanity and those people would be better off in either jail or a mental institution...
They do what makes them more money, If females were a bigger spending audience they would do more male characters, love and deep space is an entirely different genre that carters exclusively to women and should not be a talking point when complaining that the female playerbase is significant enough to warrant an increase of male characters in a mixed gender game
@@xLuis89xthis, like it's common sense NOT to throw in LADS? i don't think a lot of women enjoys fast paced action games like most men do. even if LADS have combat, it's still very minimal and it's mostly abt dating simulator. it's so, so much different.

@@wargodest kuro doesn't need to do their own banner runs to get that data. the players that enjoy male characters have had since genshin childe release to spend but time and time again the average revenue of all female banners is still higher than the average revenue of all male banners... its been 4 years since gacha games really went mainstream and theres no diff. i dont think anyone is underestimating anything. at our current roster gender ratio, its the exact same as those games of 2:1. it simply boils down to males generally making less revenue than female chars so every developer is going to make more females as players have set a precedent with their wallets. now this doesnt mean that males make little money cause thats obviously not true. but theyre just gonna make males when the female banners get stale due to opportunity cost. this relates to kuro making xly free. like for example zhongli peaked gi revenue so they should make more males right? but then he got destroyed by shogun. so now what? and then this cycle continues for 4 years now to where now we have double the females yet they still make more money in totality. the problem is that most whales in this genre just like female characters more and you can't have more influence than them over business decisions. there are female whales but they play more otome game than arpg.
@@mikelshuo9071 You know why this is rigged? Because there will ALWAYS be more men playing / people interested in women playing. So it's going to go like that either way, it will always go like that. So the companies need to suck it up and do it regardless to encourage people to pull.
I just hate that such an incredible game is being reduced to just collecting “waifus” even the word alone makes me cringe. And people are calling it “gathering wives” instead, which is ridiculous. Don’t people realise you can actually interact with characters/collect them or play them etc without sexualising them??? It’s so weird tbh why would anyone get mad if the players want more diverse characters/representation? @Kaekae0x0 Yeah, the argument that male characters don't sell well is nonsensical. Aventurine sold pretty well. In China: DHIL, Blade, and Jing Yuan had successful banners. (Info from a CN revenue chart) In Japan: Blade, Luocha and Jing Yuan sold well. You can build uncle Yuanwu dps type and then ungabunha with him. Seriously it's fun and the damage is ok and can clear ToA. Just add Yinlin for electro and liberation boost damage
What annoys me is people asking specifically for Scar and Geshu Lin NOW. These characters simply don't make sense to introduce into the game as our allies at this point in the story. We have no reason to team up with Scar at this point, but I have no doubt that will eventually change. Geshu Lin is a mystery that will need to be solved, but we have to reach the point in the story for that mystery to organically enter the story that Kuro has in mind. I don't want a game that shoehorns in Geshu Lin simply to appease people; I want a game that tells a compelling story and introduces characters at the right time to fit the story being told. There are, of course, completely fair reasons for husbando enjoyers to be disgruntled, but they need to keep in mind the flow of the game's narrative when it comes to the particular characters they're requesting. However, I do think that in place of characters that have little consequence to the narrative (like Zhezhi for example; sorry Zhezhi enjoyers, but she just isn't particularly core to the plot) they could absolutely throw in some husbandos to appease the crowd looking for that sort of thing until the big guys reemerge in the story.
i mean that's just the Genshin or Hoyo's writing; if you play other gacha games, the so called "villains" or "bad guys" dont need to turn good, become ally or completely change their goal and ideology to be playable. They just simply let the bad guys be bad as is
@@longphan7656 if we look at P:GR's track record, Bosses in there become playable characters with 1 year time gap because of story reasons so expect the same will happen with Scar in WW. Only Geshulin here is the wildcard because he is a mystery.

As a male player I really like to see male characters in the game, and actively said this every survey. I love how Kuro add characters matching them with the story, and both male and female characters are sooo well done! As a player I value for diversity in the games I play. The way I see, diversity (of gender included) turns the content more interesting and expand the possibilities. (I actually spend money for Yinlin banner 😅 because Jiyan came basically for free!)
@@haruk2312 I totally agree! (I actually prefer male harems, lol). Jokes aside, this kind of games tend to be about male gaze, for male and mostly female characters. When I think about diversity, this applies for the overall game, character design and lore. Genshin for example sold the "workaholic waifu", with the Traveller as your saviour.
@@haruk2312 then spend more money than those desperate virgins , It's a business , western constantly complain and never actually spend any money , Same deal with Genshin damn near all the money comes from 2 country Japan and China , Even love and deep space like 90 % of the money is china . you don't get a voice in design when you don't spend any money that just illogical .
The CN situation is always crazy, I feel for the husbando players and support their fight for more, esp as a female player myself (although i’m a girl’s girl lol.) the only thing that sucks is the constant spamming under posts about other new characters. Tbh, we have no idea when scar will be playable. Enemy characters like scaramouche in genshin were made playable years after his first appearance. I’m very interested in who kuro will create for 2.0
i don't mind the spam. they're upset, rightfully so, and are expressing their frustrations and criticism of the game. it's not like they tell waifu enjoyers to die or doxx them
My problem it's not even with the bad ratio, yeah it's bad. But.. I can't take the lore seriously with cringe dating simulator with waifus, I'm not into women...so i wish at least they could spare people from that scenes it's cringe
@@hk_wolves9052 but that's the point. Not you not me should suffer with that. Everyone should have the right to skip, I don't want cringe Changli in romantic scenes, spare me of that. Actually, wuwa would be better without this s* dating simulator thing
@@hk_wolves9052 you felt cause it's the most obvious thing you don't like dudes in romantic sense. But does he touches your face? No. Changli does. I couldn't care less with someone cringe as her. You liked her quest cause you like waifus, so you feel uncomfortable with Yao it's more than natural. You are basically saying that it's all good to you cause you like waifus..
@@hk_wolves9052 good for you. But many people care including me. If I wanted dating simulator I wouldn't get wuwa. I would go for deep space...not everyone enjoys cringe flirting. I want take the lore seriously, not possible with all the rizz.
Many long time players have left because the original story has concluded. The new story just isn't as good, and the game has become more demanding for people with less capable phones.
I don't condone the harassment but I understand the frustration. With the game feeling like a female character only game gives the game the feel that it's purely made for gooner people. Seeing every character being female makes it very tiresome to play and look at.
I don't need to get Scar or Geshu Lin right now, I agree that getting them when they're story relevant is best. However, I would like to know that we are getting male character at all (that aren't necessarily just those two) and if we're getting a male character only two or three times per year. Also, I don't agree going along with these doxxers and harassers. They will just think their tactic is working and are rewarded for it, so they keep doing it. If I was also manic about getting specific characters, should I start doxxing random people and Kuro for it? What nonsense. If gacha games made gender ratio 50/50 or near it from the beginning then those idiots would have less of a reason to expect the game to only be a waifu collector game and the game might attract a different audience.
At this point it's just very tiring, until 2.0 there aren't any male characters. It is literally ¼ of a year from now. and after that it rumors to be Chun ( gun user still female) and they added a another one. And the only decent banner male characters had was JIYAN... And xiangli yao was basically free! It doesn't matter how generous they are If you can't enjoy it! Just thinking, i have to wait for literally half a year to pull a character i like 😅
i will preface this by saying i love male characters and diversifying how rosters look and the characters i use, but using Love and Deep space as an example is so off imo because that game's talking point, marketing, and selling point, is that it's a dating sim. there is action in it im pretty sure, but from the circles i see that play it NONE of them talk about that aspect at all, its literally just hype over holding a dudes face and texting cute messages. the people who play dating sims and the people who play dmc like heavy combo input action games, do not overlap much. L&D is successful because it targets an audience that wants more of that, and same with wuwa. i love xiang liao, am glad he was free (i wonder why), and genuinely do want more male characters, but lets not pretend they'll be marketed the same way and popular in the same way L&D is LOL
I saw alot of L&D don't even speak about the combat aspect, mostly screenshots of the player "toying" with the character (mostly Sylus) I did play the game at earlier phase but it looks like to me the combat gameplay are just generic hack and slash with little to no challenge, correct me if I'm wrong tho
😭 this is so funny because there is definitely part of the community that talks about builds and combat the end game in love and deepspace is pretty hard and farming takes a long ass time. started maining sylus in July with his launch and still don't have a single card max level ascended, only whales can make those crazy moves fast. obviously it's still a otome game and the story is pretty good, the main part being far more tragic than romantic tbh the romance is mostly behind gacha cards which is insane to think about.
I play the fighting aspect of the game but it's hard to really grind to lvl them boys up takes alot of stamina and materials. There's like three different areas to battle in the game like A spiral abyss type of thing
Idk, but Later levels of LAD is extremely difficult to clear and will take so much stamina. I play LADS and wuwa but I i already quit wuwa because of the horrible ratio
As a female player, I need more male characters to appreciate ;-; The CN fanbase is so toxic. Please stop being so gross CN players, women also deserve cute characters to play as. As a new player, I'm still only playing as Rover...
If it will be only females in the game, I'll probably drop it, like it was with HI3. It's so unrealistic... and all females magically loves MC without no logical reason.
this is a big issue for me. i can whale sometimes, but kuro never gave me the chance. there were enough pulls as free-to-play during jiyan banner and ziangli yao was given for free anyway. considering a huge gap between releasing a male character, you don't even need to swipe, you have enough time to save for both character and weapon. i really liked wuwa, but due to lack of male characters i stopped playing.
The leaks are shoddy on 2.0. The only actual consensus from all leaks I’ve seen is the gun/glacio girl, the second character (most likely a 5* given it’s 2.0) is nowhere to be confirmed or speculated.
You trust leakers ? They were saying camillya, 1.3, then 1.4. then 2.0, theb back to 1.4 and right before Kuro dropped her, they were saying shes delayed to 2.0 again... The even got Lumi wrong, she wasnt even on their radar . They been bouncing around Scar too. These guys are full of shit for views.. I've started blocking them when they appear in my feed.
In terms of the gacha genre, female characters tend to be very poorly written or extremely one dimensional. The formula for a gacha female is painfully. She just need 2 things, good design and sex appeal. With the male characters there is genuine effort put into their creation because gacha games are too afraid to push envelope when it comes to male characters and fan service. If companies quit catering to their incel players they’d be able to give us well polished products.
as a gay man that loves to simp for men in games, im a little sad at the lack of them but god damn kuro always hits with their women too so i cant complain
I am one of those people who are skipping shorekeeper and camellia. I just want dudes. Also let's not forget ZZZ that has zero male S rank characters and apparently no plans in the near future to release one.
Lighter is literally next patch as an S rank, and we have that vampire from Lycaon's character story hinted at.....AND the new gang from the latest chapter is two dudes and a girl, so.....
I hope the overall community for WuWa is a lot more positive than other gaming communities out there. Coming from HI3rd, I couldn’t agree more with what you have mentioned about the toxicity of some of the players we have - except that in HI3rd, its coming from both CN & global. I just don’t get it why these players are so oppose of having a playable male characters. If you don’t like the characters then just skip it then. Why do they need to doxx the company up to the point of scrapping the playable male? PS: Mihoyo deleting the ‘male’ avatar is not the 1st time, the last time was when they tried to include playable Kevin, and boy, the whole community went nuts. Lol
cause an insane amount of coomers have the most fragile ego and delusional mindset to the point where a playable male character just existing makes them think like their imaginary 15 year old looking 1000 year old waifu is gonna get "taken" by a male character just cause they exist or it's just pure delusion where they cant even stand the thought or idea of a male character because they only enjoy playing female characters one handed and they cant enjoy playing male character so nobody should be able to enjoy it at all
I'm a girl, and I like my fair share of girlies in my games, but I would like to see more guys too 🤷🏾♀️ like, my favorite gacha game character IS Cyno. Would be nice to see more characters like Cyno or Kaveh, but it seems gacha games would rather cater to waifu players rather than try to cater to the others ig
@Lusc1nt Whenever they bring out male character with good design and a strong kit, they become one of highest selling banners like Neuvilette, Blade, Zhongli etc
Tbh I nearly quit the game right at the beginning after the devs folded immediately to that vocal minority of CN players who wanted Scar's outfit changed, that -really- left a bitter taste in my mouth. That they would just give in to such a ridiculous demand and in my opinion change Scar's design from something cool and unique to plain ol' pants, sure we can have the tiniest of skirts and undulating breasts on the female characters but you can't give the girls something to look at? I don't have a problem with sexy and scantily clad female characters either, I LIKE cool looking characters but I would just like the same for my male characters. It killed the faith in the developers for me because of it and I just expect now that I won't be catered to so my expectations for the game in terms of receiving unique and cool male characters to pull for is low or maybe more like non-existant. I am still playing however and happily waiting to pull for Scar because it turns out I do really love the style, gameplay and story of the game but I am saving up my astrites and have never and will never spend a cent in game. I AM however spending my money in Love and Deepspace :)
Thank you for talking about this, i've been complaining for a long time, i loved so much this game but had to uninstall, as a male character collector i just totally lost the interest with so many female chat patches and i really don't feel like playing it tbh i hope they add more males soon, same for genshin, i really can believe the levels of toxicity with male players specially in china, it's just so unreal, i sometimes forget we live in this world, however good video thanks again for talking about this important topic
@@alexfrank5331 thats the reason why genshin got so popular though. Even in my country where people don't play gacha games it got so popular because it actually keeps a balance. Female characters are obviously more but there are male characters as well.
Well it also doesn't help that since the majority is female. The cracked/OP/account changing/future proof characters usually don't happen to be the male ones. For example with Calcharo and Xiangli, Yuanwu is just never going to be a dps unless you really love the aesthetic of the character. I myself have tried to make aalto work. But besides the fact he's counted as the worst character in wuwa. Chixia just got him beat on the dps scale. I'm not even going to start about the sillyness of Lingyang. So we got Mortefi. The overshadowed/powercrept calcharo for Xiangli and Jiyan holding the line for the males. That is 4 male character in a serious down spiral and we are only in 1.2. So i think a 2 - 1 ratio for F - M would be nice. I imagine a company would sooner choose 3 -1. But regardless of how many they make. If they turn out to be an aalto they will not sell. If they turn out to be a Lingyang it will only be for the niche. If they turn out to be a Yuanwu or calcharo they better make sure another character isn't breathing down their neck already or going too :(.
I have always enjoyed playing wuthering waves, but it seems like Kuro is only serving a degener!te side of their community. We do not necessarily need Scar or Geshulin, any male would do and just a fair female to male ratio.
And how would they insert them to the story? Zhezhi was already foreshadowed in 1.1, considering Fuling is a painter and is connected to the Artist Association, same with the painter guy in the daily quest... Youhu was mentioned in Yinlin's story quest and Lumi was already foreshadowed in 1.1..... It doesn't mean that I disagree with you, I also need male characters for world building, but in their current situation...Kuro are currently on tip toes
@@CoFF3e_Man This is exactly the problem because they emphasized the inclusion of more females in the story since the beginning. I recall the mentioning of the Art Association but nothing about Zhezhi. It seems like I may have missed something because I really do not recall any relevant foreshadowing of Youhu or Lumi. But anyways, we'll see how things will progress from 1.4 onwards.
ONE THING IMPORTANT. Also the hate towards Love and Deep Space by male gatcha players saying its sexualizing men or something when there is whole Detroid Becomes Human level of animation of their own story ars where there is 0 romance 99% of the romance is in the limited time banners. Also Bruh Love and Deep Space male characters ALWAYS have more clothes on than female characters in WUWA OR ANY GAME. I will also add that all male characters in LNDS look like ADULTS. I am always creeped out by LOLIS aka female children in stringy sexy suits and being called wifus...Even some of the ones in this video look like infants well pre-puberty children age 7 and 9 yet you can find hentai and what shit in them. You can't stay these guys play for the story. For me 90% of female characters in gatcha have 0 susbstance just surface level story to use for hentai plot later. There needs to be less boobage and less female characters looking like children bc its creepy to call them waifu. Thats it. Give us more male characters but challegende to the devs give them the same ammount of clothign as female characters XD
You can literally sleep with character and have sex with in that game and pet them them , they only have more clothes on since you have to buy the costume to undress them it's a coomer game for woman about wealthy men , . it's a erotica for woman .
i play a gacha game with mostly dude characters and in like almost every banner they’re completely clothed gacha game dev teams need to be more bold. give us men in booty shorts
Kinda ironic since the same incels who hate LADs would literally harass developers. There's even news in CN that a gacha dev almost got k!lled by a fan when their company decided not to release a skimpy bunny girl outfit. Like wtf?
lmao male gacha players feel violated and somehow can't understand why lolis in skimpy outfits enrage female players. it's like they have a flap in their brains that keep out logical correlation. not talking about the normal waifu enjoyers. not shaming hentai enjoyers even. just the very specific, very special demographic that indulges in nasty shit like that. games will always sexualize characters, male and female. they will always fanservice. male players are just getting exposed to the *gasp* female gaze and how little it actually differs from the male gaze when it comes to sexualization. Still, fanservicey sexualization for female players can't and will never hold a candle to the levels of vulgar devs are willing to sink to in order to please their male audience. male players need to let female players have their cake too. cake is good. we should all have plenty of cake.
It is so bad. We only got Jiyan in 4 months (excluding free characters) and it looks like we will not get anything the next two patches. That is nearly 7 months. Just ridiculous. So many players will quit playing.
*Many players will quit, but there's still much more players(whale) playing the game for waifus. Tbh, I don't think female players are nonexistent in this game, it's just that male player base is much bigger.
In what other gacha there are male characters every patch or every other patch? Why is everyone pretending that Kuro is oppressing them LMAO, it is industry standard
meanwhile im patiently waiting for jiyan's rerun. already got 2 copies of him the first banner, i want another 2. he is the literal reason i started playing wuwa. (but i also ended up loving almost every character, especially changli, xiangli yao, jinhsi and zhezhi). anyways. point is. im a husbando and waifu enjoyer. i have actually been rolling every patch LMAOOOO (this is a call for help)
I just wish gachas would experiment more with muscular body types for characters, I’m a husbando collector but if they released a cool muscular female character, I’d roll for her. When I look at that one Natlan npc from genshin this is what I mean, he’s not too muscular to throw people off, but he’s muscular enough to grab my interest, I feel like characters have limited design, especially male characters. I just wish men in gacha games wasn’t a topic of outrage for certain people, I feel like they’re being very selfish, because why are you doxxing people who like the men and even the developers for ONE male character? I just feel like companies going forward need to put their foot down with things like this, the games need more great and diverse male characters
Honestly i hope WuWa don't end being more of the same, like 30+ limited 5 stars females and dunno...15+ 4 stars and end up with 10 males at max with about 8 4 stars. I wouldn't even care if it's old granpas and Granny's, just don't be more of the same
Nah… best time is right after a new premium waifu. Men have a refractory period. Any new waifu after a premium has awful sales just look at jade in hsr.
@@littlebigeats7682Jade's issue is that she was a niche that no one really needed, because pure fiction was easy. But I believe with the release of yunli and soon Rappa pure fiction will start getting harder.
Personally, as a husbando player, I really don’t mind that the male characters are spaced out far from each other. It makes getting their S6 much easier for me. I told myself to be patient, because it all works out in my wallet’s favor. Since getting S6 Jiyan, I skipped every banner until Xiangli Yao, and got him to S4 without topping up (granted, lunite subscription + battle pass). And I’ll do the same until the next husbando. I am pulling for SK tho. That girlie is cracked!
Hey, Hoyo is in the same position like in ZZZ with 5 consecutive female SSR or HSR does similar. Kuro who also made PGR also has a lower male ratio per year compared to female with consecutive patches mostly focusing on girls. Love in deadspace is popular because there aren't many collectable male games, if anything those yumestacy will also drop those games when they add playable females.
Hsr has a male character almost every patch wdym? 1.0 Jingyuan 1.1 Luocha 1.2 Blade 1.3 Dhil 1.4 none 1.5 Argenti 1.6 Dr. Ratio (free) 2.0 none 2.1 Aventurine 2.2 Boothill 2.3 none 2.4 Jiaoqiu 2.5 none 2.6 has one new limited (a female) -2.7 Sunday- Without even mentioning the male 4* and standard characters
Zzz doesn't show men in there ads as much as wuwa did. Every time I see a zzz ad, it's booba fest with a second of a random furry (respectfully). So it's not surprisingly. Wuwa showed us many male characters since release. Not surprisimg people want to get what they were advertised
@@anisnissa this is what a lot of people don't get. yes, the gender ratio in ZZZ is atrocious however the only male character they advertised was billy and the furry dude. other than that, it was always just female characters. wuwa however, advertised plenty of male characters before and during the release of the game such as jiyan, geshu lin, calcharo, scar, aalto, lingyang... i'm sure if they had only advertised the female characters people wouldn't be complaining now but it's precisely because they "baited" people with so many male characters upon release that now people are feeling a bit disappointed with the upcoming banners and the current ratio. when wuwa first released people were literally praising the wuwa male characters and saying they were so much hotter compared to other games. i feel like people are undermining just how many people tried out the game because they were advertised hot male characters like jiyan, geshu lin, scar, etc.
Tbf, ZZZ's beta designs are obviously hinting that their going to target waifu enjoyers and furry community lol. When I played it on first day I didn't really expect that the gender ratio will be as balanced as idk HSR? But it wasn't the case with Wuwa. Back then they had a lineup of muscular men, and sexy women designs with a minority of children characters. They were even bold with Yuanwu's middle aged man design.
As someone who plays 4 gatcha games and prefers males over most females, the ratio between them has its positives and negatives. Having less males does mean I have more time to save, but having to wait and see one girl after another is a little annoying. Take wuwa for example (since it’s the main topic of discussion) I literally got into that game because of Jiyan and the tons of adds I gotten about him. I did everything in my power to get him and after loosing to him twice I finally managed to get him in 1 pull. 😅 and with Yao the new free 5 star, i literally pulled for him again and his weapon and got both. And will continue to mainly pull for guys. The only frustrating part about all of the gatcha games I play (except for one as it does have all male characters) is how each development team (not just Koro) has to appease the awful and toxic side of their communities. The more the toxic side of any community does awful things, they learn that the devs are going to listen, making them think they can do whatever they want to get want they want. And I really do hope a law of some sort can stop this in some way, as bullying, harassment, doxing, and every awful thing the toxic side of community has done is not okay… and it’s all because of male characters…
I'm a weeb and a man, I also like playing as men although I prefer guys like Kiryu from Yakuza series rather than anime pretty boys, but I take what I can get. Heck, I also love canon couple characters like Brynhildr and Sigurd from FGO, because they just looks cute together. Oh well, maybe I'm just not weeb enough.
I'm grateful that the chn government has apparently paid more attention to the harassment issue. They've now implemented a law regarding that. I think that's why Kuro said they want to balance out the female-male ratio in the future (when Kuro, when?). They've grown as a company, and now have further backing from the law
I really do not envy gacha devs who want to have male and female units in their games. It's not all CN players, of course, but there's an extremely offputting but vocal minority that go fucking apeshit over m/f interactions. It's gotta be scary dealing with that crowd. So far I think WuWa has been decent w/ its ratio, esp given Yao was free and the focus of an entire event. Supposedly we'll get a new guy in 2.1, and we have Scar and the General cooking somewhere - its just feeling slow now due to reruns in 1.3 and 1.4.
honkai star rail does an amazing job of doing justice to the number of male and female characters. They released Sunday Male character with Tingyun Female character We are male character loverS we eat well from the developers who know how to please all categories of their players and I think someone should learn from them
As someone who is super hyped for Shorekeeper and Camellya, we need more male characters kuro. I especially want more chaeacters with the body type of Lingyang, why is there only one in the whole game? I hope the hate towards Lingyang didn't discourage Kuro games from making characters with his body type
The masc to femme 5 stars ratio in this game is abyssmal and this coming from a pansexual. I hope game devs and gamers realise how much spending power (and fanpower) the female gamers (and Gays) have. Love and deepspace and Tears of Themis especially have survived on their dedicated fanbase despite not being as popular (in the case of ToT)
Tears of Themis doesn't make alot of money at all but also didn't cost alot of to make . and Love and deep space literally banned all forms of Queer and homosexual fan content so you should probably think twice about championing them it is literally for Straight woman Only game .
Just gonna say it right here. I have never ever pulled for waifus and I genuinely don´t get the craze. Especially since you keep seeing them everywhere. Game with well designed and well written men are way too few and I´m glad wuwa adds them
"Male characters don't sell well." As a woman who plays PGR (and other action gatcha): Maybe it has something to do with the fact that having half a year between two male banner gives more than enough time to save up materials. Or maybe if you don't show people something they want for a long time they don't stick around.
Hello , I’m that Knito you mentioned .
Ofc it’s just one twitter account saying all these stuff , but from what I’ve seen on the CN side (bilibili , I’m Chinese)
This situation is very much real , you could argue it’s a vocal minority (as stated by the OP themselves) .
Only time could tell if anything will change .
well look like chinise are turning gay
@Nakirakira
About the GLC incident : The incels said glc should be call otome lmao then proceed to harass the team for release kinda a lot of male characters too but im glad as a new game glc still follow what they believe and said they'll make a 1:1 ratio in releasing char, (not really right now but it's their plan, currently it's 10 females : 6 males )
One of its GLC devs made insulting comments towards male players. And devs has long ignored opinions from male players ( Basically only listening to female players ). This has led to the game being hated even by Mihoyo haters, as most of them are male.
it's 2024, either 1:1 or Closer to 1:1
If Kuro manage to redeem itself : either give 2.1 to 2.X back to back males, kuro can use the females as reruns
so the best ratio : 17:21 or 18: 21
Honestly this just tells me a lot that CN just feels time and time again for special treatment and entitlement, they will go radical lengths if they don't get what they want and if global gets anything they will also do their utmost to destroy those rewards (bunny girl incident), ironic how people then wanna say "Westerners are Woke" or something as soon as they get the opportunity

I love waifus and mommies in gachas. But Jiyan is still my main in WuWa. Qingloong is so freak cool badass as ultimate or spear.
this doesn’t change much, if you compare gacha games that have both genders, male banners never outsell female banners.
@@DiamondCityLights true, since most gachas play the waifu route so that’s kinda expected at that point, but he still would have performed better than he did if not for the messy launch.

not to mention men banners benefits waifu collectors too. it gives them time to save and gather resources for their desired waifu. atp husbando enjoyers could guarantee any character they want with weapons as well. i was able to raise xiangli yao to level 90 day one because i pre-farmed for him and looked forward to him. the problem is that because of people having enough to get their husbando for free just by dailies, it results in less revenue and the argument about how men "don't sell". it's a cycle.

FBI OPEN UP
I'm just worried because Kuro is a good listener yes, but they sometimes listen TOO much to the point of having no backbone.
There's no male character till 2.0 😂😂

About lee low sales is probably because kuro nerfed him to the ground on his release and he doesnt have time stop which is a meta

One thing I want to point out is that WuWa has given very few reasons for Husbando enjoyers to spend on the game
With Jiyan 'free' from beginning story pulls as the first limited banner, and Xiangli given out for free regardless, there was nothing for players to spend on other than sequence nodes or their weapon.
I'mma say they will be doing this and placing Male Characters in patches loaded with Astrites or giving them a free Limited 5-star like Xiangli Yao in the future. women make up pretty much exactly 50% of the gamer demographic. and we’ve seen from love and deepspace and other husbands gacha banners just how much money female-oriented characters/games can make, especially when there’s not that many high quality fighting games in that niche.

This i agree
i mean that's just the Genshin or Hoyo's writing; if you play other gacha games, the so called "villains" or "bad guys" dont need to turn good, become ally or completely change their goal and ideology to be playable.
They just simply let the bad guys be bad as is
@@longphan7656 if we look at P:GR's track record, Bosses in there become playable characters with 1 year time gap because of story reasons so expect the same will happen with Scar in WW. Only Geshulin here is the wildcard because he is a mystery.

Yep, demanding geshulin now is unrealistic. We don't even know he's alive or not. But dear lord, waiting for post 2.0 for even a hint of at least a new 4s male character is wild
I don’t know if this is true but, WuWa seems to have more global players than PGR, maybe this have some practical difference?

the harassment was done by the incel chn fans. the husbu wanters at tiktok and twitter are just annoying

i will preface this by saying i love male characters and diversifying how rosters look and the characters i use, but using Love and Deep space as an example is so off imo because that game's talking point, marketing, and selling point, is that it's a dating sim. there is action in it im pretty sure, but from the circles i see that play it NONE of them talk about that aspect at all, its literally just hype over holding a dudes face and texting cute messages. the people who play dating sims and the people who play dmc like heavy combo input action games, do not overlap much. L&D is successful because it targets an audience that wants more of that, and same with wuwa. i love xiang liao, am glad he was free (i wonder why), and genuinely do want more male characters, but lets not pretend they'll be marketed the same way and popular in the same way L&D is LOL
I saw alot of L&D don't even speak about the combat aspect, mostly screenshots of the player "toying" with the character (mostly Sylus)
I did play the game at earlier phase but it looks like to me the combat gameplay are just generic hack and slash with little to no challenge, correct me if I'm wrong tho

The big issue is 2.0 has already been leaked and it’s two females again. So we have to wait 5-6 months for the next male…
Ya it a 5 star gun girl. I like that though. As a wanted a 5 star gun user. But the other female is a downer.
The leaks are shoddy on 2.0. The only actual consensus from all leaks I’ve seen is the gun/glacio girl, the second character (most likely a 5* given it’s 2.0) is nowhere to be confirmed or speculated.
it wouldn't surprise me but i would still be skeptical before believing any leaks from 2.0 onwards... a lot of them are questionable.

In terms of the gacha genre, female characters tend to be very poorly written or extremely one dimensional.
The formula for a gacha female is painfully.

With the male characters there is genuine effort put into their creation because gacha games are too afraid to push envelope when it comes to male characters and fan service.

If they turn out to be a Yuanwu or calcharo they better make sure another character isn't breathing down their neck already or going too :(.
that's a different problem on it's own.

Still, fanservicey sexualization for female players can't and will never hold a candle to the levels of vulgar devs are willing to sink to in order to please their male audience. male players need to let female players have their cake too. cake is good. we should all have plenty of cake.

I love the male characters in this game. They are manly and very handsome. Even Rover is hot.
fr, he is so beautiful, im a girl and i chose him and im so happy, he's so cute!
I'm grateful that the chn government has apparently paid more attention to the harassment issue. They've now implemented a law regarding that. I think that's why Kuro said they want to balance out the female-male ratio in the future (when Kuro, when?). They've grown as a company, and now have further backing from the law
Anytime anyone says "The EN community is toxic", I just point to the CN community and say nothing at all.
They released Sunday Male character with Tingyun Female character We are male character loverS we eat well from the developers who know how to please all categories of their players and I think someone should learn from them
I wish i could play, but my phone can't support it.
As someone who is super hyped for Shorekeeper and Camellya, we need more male characters kuro. I especially want more chaeacters with the body type of Lingyang, why is there only one in the whole game? I hope the hate towards Lingyang didn't discourage Kuro games from making characters with his body type
I would play Wuthering Waves more if there were more male characters. In fact, the more male characters the more I am willing to play a game. :D
The masc to femme 5 stars ratio in this game is abyssmal and this coming from a pansexual.
I hope game devs and gamers realise how much spending power (and fanpower) the female gamers (and Gays) have. Love and deepspace and Tears of Themis especially have survived on their dedicated fanbase despite not being as popular (in the case of ToT)
why don't you literally just say men and women.
Tears of Themis doesn't make alot of money at all but also didn't cost alot of to make . and Love and deep space literally banned all forms of Queer and homosexual fan content so you should probably think twice about championing them it is literally for Straight woman Only game .
This is certified Kuro games moment, we had the same thing in pgr where we had 8 patches in a row with only female characters
time to lose hope I guess, lmao
Just gonna say it right here. I have never ever pulled for waifus and I genuinely don´t get the craze. Especially since you keep seeing them everywhere. Game with well designed and well written men are way too few and I´m glad wuwa adds them
"Male characters don't sell well."
As a woman who plays PGR (and other action gatcha):
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that having half a year between two male banner gives more than enough time to save up materials. Or maybe if you don't show people something they want for a long time they don't stick around.
Can't wait to see a title in the future that reads, "The Male Character Situation is Rad."
