I love that you added the "what of your daughters life, my lord?" and Maester Aemon's quote, because now Jon is facing this precise dilemma. Because that's _exactly_ what I was thinking about! Ned didn't care if he died, because honor...but he _did_ care if his loved ones were in danger. He'd sacrifice even his honor to protect them and that's what so many people tend to forget. Ned loved his family enough to besmirch his honor before, and more than once.
Stark men are not smart. It's been said through out the series. I wasn't surprised when he kept making excuses.
I don't think any men were smart for the last two seasons honestly.

What she, and the other actors, accomplished with this awful script is actually amazing. The cast and crew absolutely carried the season.

@@cissyiniguez If you've taken a course on writing and think the dialogue was anywhere near what the show has typically shown viewers, you may want to ask for a refund.

The speech at the beginning, none of them understood word from word, they don't speak Valyrian. They probably got the gist of it, Tyrion could understand a bit, but Jon did not know what she was saying.

I so love the M. Aemon flashbacks. The parallel between Jon's fate and his is AWESOME!!! True rightful heirs to the throne who didn't want it and served at Castle Black instead.

I really like the way you guys put in all the clips from earlier seasons. Everyone that hates the writing that really came full circle. And no I didnt think the season was great but it was bittersweet haha

Morbidly, I thought the path in the middle of the street was because dying people either got shoved out of the way or trampled into ash.
Good reasoning. I thought Jeremy's comment was actually on point, as well. I was being cynical, but honestly, he is probably right. If Drogon's fire pressure was strong enough to blow stone apart, it would certainly blast people around like dust-bunnies. It just felt comically convenient in the moment.
Cutting in the Maester Aemon stuff with this episode was dope af. Great work.
Hogwart's call backs from older episodes is why I love this channel so much
When dude held up the stuffed direwolf and put it in front of his shirt I thought I was tripping because it blended it perfectly.
Drogon becoming Simba with Danny's corpse and Jon petting Ghost are the only things I liked about this episode.
Everything else makes me cry and get angry.
Just give me something for the pain and let me die.
Hey now, the visual shot of Dany with the dragon wings was also good. Tyrion finding Jaime and Cersei bodies broke my heart and Brienne filling out Jamie's page made me cry. That's all I can contribute

Tyrion would give a cadaver dog a run for it's money.
While the show may have ruined certain characters, I LOVED that Brienne became Lord Commander of the King's Guard. That is basically the top position any knight could dream of and those who hold it are essentially supposed to be the physical embodiment of what a knight is: Kind, Empathetic, more than capable in combat, intelligent, etc. Her character definitely earned it.
ok and now I start crying. its over game of thrones and the best reactions to game of thrones. I have literally spent THE WHOLE SERIES WITH YOU GUYS. I started out when this reaction channel started so I liked being able to watch an episode then see your reactions.
I felt bad for Danny. I still loved her. At least Jon, and Arya lived.

@@USCFlash she was in this season for like 5 minutes lol. She's great, don't get me wrong. The best in the show but not for this season. She should have definitely gotten one from previous seasons.

Honestly, I hate the fact that the last 2 seasons were so rushed, but the show pretty much ended how I always hoped/expected so I'm satisfied with it. I just wish the show had a few more episodes so the pacing wouldn't have felt so rushed and I also wouldn't have had Jaime do an about face 4 episodes after finally leaving Cersei.

They used Jon like a dog, from the beginning he was being treated like shit, by Sansa and her mother, all along he was a prince, he died for these ppl and got brought back only to be used by his sister to take back Winterfell and now after killing his last living relative/lover he gets banished for life. They used him up and said fuck off, he was told about his real identity for nothing, we never got that Targaryen discussion between them. Granted he end up with Ghost and Tormund, still this is a bitter end for an already heartbreaking character. But hey, it's thrones, it's not up to us how things end

I think part of his character though was the fact that he did all of this & DIDN'T want anything for it. To be treated better, absolutely, but he didn't want the crown or gold or a title like everyone else. The last season really destroyed his character & I feel for Kit.

Honestly, it's not the writing that has taken a dive, but the audience.

They could've done it so much more brilliantly if we had more time. The flip was way too rapid and forced, it was like 50 to 1000. It's ridiculous lol. I understand she had to be stopped but she'll always be the Breaker of chains and Mother of Dragons to me. I really loved her character, such a sad ending.

17:22 Two days after the episode aired, this was the exact moment when Danny's death finally felt real to me.
So... here we are at the end of Game of Thrones. Can I tell you something? I only found your channel perhaps five days ago. And I blazed through every single Game of Thrones reaction you guys have so that I could watch this one when it came out. And boy has it been a journey. You guys are awesome and hope to see you react to a lot more in the future. To the days still to come.

Tbh, I know Dany had to die, but they really forced this MQ storyline down our throats. Like, her goals just suddenly switched to conquering the world? In a single episode? Half of the things she was saying didn't sound like Daenerys at all, just there to force you say, "yeah, she needs to be stopped"
I've always known she wouldn't be queen, but they've done such a quick 180 on her character that she doesnt feel like the same person from 3 episodes ago. Im not upset THIS version of Dany died but it's such a disservice to Daenerys as a whole because it was so rushed.

For just a second when they were kissing, and we heard the stab. I was thinking, "what if dany just killed Jon?"
I personally think the Jon/Aegon storyline had a purpose if we’re to believe Bran knew what was going to happen. In a way, Bran planted the seed So that he’d become king. He told Sam>Sam told Jon>and got to Dany to become Jealous > which in turn made a way for her to become mad . This leads to her being killed , which eliminates her and Jon from taking the throne.

Great edit Brian with intercut scenes of Aemon preaching! With Jon quoting Aemon earlier on to Tyrion you can see Jon was thinking along those lines. I would like to think that conversation with Aemon was literally playing through Jon's mind as you have cut it while he was killing Dany.
Stannis: Burns his daughter to save his army, is put into the hate section immediately.
Dany: Burns a city and all the innocents possible, speaks of dominating the world and killing more innocents, is still in the love section until her death.
Seriously, that's effed up, lol.

If you have no idea what Bran was accomplishing, you weren't paying attention. You don't have to run around swinging a sword to "do something". Sam tried that, and he accomplished nothing but sitting on his ass in the battle with the army of the dead and crying. Bran actually lured the Night King out from behind his army to get him in position for Arya to take him down.

Okay now I'm really sad I didn't get to see Sans and Dany have a trial by combat lol, that would've been a hilarious scene. EDIT: Hmm, I think Dany was the one to convince Jon to kill her when she said you know whats right and he said "I don't" and she said "you do, you've always known" and Jon knew in his heart stopping her is the right thing to do and that was the last push he needed to do it.
The intercut with Aemon Targaryen was just fantastic. You guys do such a great job in every aspect of your reactions!

Daenerys has always been my favorite character and the fact that I didn’t cry and I was completely motionless and just stared at the screen during her death, showed that her character was ruined
