Infrastructure is literally the one thing you cannot take from your enemy, you get what’s in the land you take, for factories and docks and whatnot it doesn’t matter where they’re built as long as you own them, but for infrastructure it only benefits where it is, so all the states in your own country give fewer resources

I don't think the invasions are bugged so much as people forget (or don't know) that they need to research transport capacity to allow for them. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until I realized my capacity was 10 divisions (only one tech researched) and I was trying to send more than that.
For trading, I recommend making sure you always have a surplus below 8. If it's above, then renew the trade deal (using the button that automatically selects the amount to trade based on your needs) as having a surplus of more than 8 means your factories are not being efficient.
Unless you get a crapload of civilian factories because once you have free factories giving them to allies and having a surplus of up to 16 while you’re focusing in fighting so you don’t have to deal with the issues during trade every five seconds when someone doesn’t fulfill a request or production lines change slightly how many resources they need.
It looks like you forgot how easy it is to start the war two years early. I started a war with Japan (as Soviet Russia) while they were fighting China, and I wound up kicking them out of Asia in 1937 in June.

Most likley you met expiditionary forces from say norway or soviet, allso you can only plan X amount of naval invasions at the same time, and you can protect your naval invasions via the Escort naval mission.

Oh wow! This is so cool, that you play, what I consider, the greatest COMPUTER STRATEGY GAME ever made. I've been playing this for 2 months, but have been playing the earlier versions for 17 years, but I never had the money to buy a strong enough computer to play the game deep into the later years of WW2. I'd been considering recommending this to you for a few weeks, but I'm so surprised that you know of this game. I play the TOTAL WAR MOD on STEAM with other mods I've found that are compatible with it that makes total war even grander in scale. So I dont really agree with the oil pants being useless. I wouldnt start building them in the early game but its a great source of rubber when you cant trade with the large producers.
I guess you could start off a series of this game, I find it pretty easy compared to Hoi3 so should be no trouble to understand whats going on on the vids.
Well, as Germany I'd say avoid the political advisors (silent workhorse) as you get 2 a day. That's well more than enough to get all your upgrades before the war and you really don't need to 'boost party popularity' unless you want to try flipping another major power to fascism. Still wouldn't recommend that since it makes the game a bit too easy. Your first choices as Germany should almost always be (captain of industry) -> (Krupp) -> (War Economy if ready). They are, however, extremely handy for the countries who start with debuffed political point gain such as France and the US.
Well, No? Im pretty new to the game but when I played as Ireland and joined the Axis I found that the best thing to do is just get lots of planes... You can then bomb any incoming ships, and most importantly parachute right behind enemy lines and take over that way. I tried invading by see but if your enemy had researched some stuff in land doctirine it would take too many divisions too invade.
When I get the game I'm gonna play as USA and take over the Americas and wage war on the east and take over the world!!!!! And then start a new playthrough.

Well these tipps are meant for new players so i would say they are decent since most players will play historical for there first few games and btw how about giving alternatives to the "trash tipps" that would be a lot more productive than just complaining

As Germany you will get your civilian factories from conquests pretty early on. Build military factories exclusively.
That means slow construction and less resources to make things at your military factories with.

Question isn't not making military factories during the years leading up to the war, going to prevent you from having excess amount of equipment?
The naval invasions work 100% if you creat a battle plan at the target zone.

for the cost Uboats are pretty much useless, go for naval bombers instead, they are far far better in the long run

Well, No? Im pretty new to the game but when I played as Ireland and joined the Axis I found that the best thing to do is just get lots of planes... I tried invading by see but if your enemy had researched some stuff in land doctirine it would take too many divisions too invade.

depends, if you are in '36 and there is a '46 tech then no, oonly do so if a half of year ahead because of the penalty it gives
