I really wish I would have known about the topic of this particular episode or I would have emailed you guys screenshots of a complete accident that happened on our land and I just so happen to have had two tourniquets that were bought from you guys in our side by side when it happened. The ambulance showed up and and the EMT's were highly surprised at the fact that we #1 were smart enough to have tourniquets on site, (which i low key took offense to) #2 that we knew how to use them..(also took offense to).. but the MAIN MATTER, #3 that we had QUALITY TOURNIQUETS... And I can promise you right now it probably saved his fkn life! I won't go too far into the accident as to what happened, but trust me it was something that could have happened to ANYBODY, that's why they call them ACCIDENTS! It was not because of unproper use of a firearm or some idiot playing army man in the backyard! It was a pure accident. But my point still stands, the tourniquets that we had came in kits that were bought from TACTICON.. AND THEY WORKED... IMAGINE THAT!!!! btw THIS IS A 100% TRUE STORY AND HAVE PICTURES TO BACK IT UP... Not because everybody pulled their phones out like some idiots do immediately for some reason, we had GoPros running on our side by sides .. SHOOTING HOGS is all I'll leave it at!! But the accident was documented and so were the precautions we took before the ambulance got there. 💪✌️🚫🧢

I'm not a rich man. But because of you guys, I've been able to (without going into severe debt) gear up adequately enough to jump into meaningful training with my brother.

I was a few pounds overweight years ago and took up running. Anytime I see heavyset people out trying, even moving slow, I always get their attention and give them a big thumbs up. That little encouragement may make a huge difference in someone’s attempt at improvement. I appreciate you guys!

I have been a big fan of trex simply because of their mission statement, but seeing you guys address his now baseless claims and debunk them is top notch stuff. For this in my eyes Tacticon>trex all day everyday

Im a fan of the company (T-Rex) and their products and own many of them. However lucas is an elitist brat and needs to simply shut up. Perhaps he should do 4 years in the army as 11B and then I'll consider paying attention to anything he has to say.
Sidecar is a nice holster, but unfortunately, tacticon dont make a 43x with light option.

This conversation needs to take place and I'm glad you guys brought it up. As background, I was vaccine injured in '21 and my life was forever changed (devastated). In an instant I went from having a good life with a great income to coasting to crashing and burning with permanent disability. I have never felt so vulnerable in terms of safety or security. A $15 tq could be the difference between life and death when flashy items are simply off the table. Thank you for bringing critical supplies to the market for the rest of us.

This tells the character of those in this for principle and those in it for money/clout. I've found that TREX has provided some decent information over the years there is a lack of something. . . perhaps that lack is knowing what it's like to be shot at or sitting in a 130 degree Stryker or MRAP waiting to get blown up. Let's call it the "thing". The wires are rerouted in a mans head and there is something difficult to explain about it. . . Botkin doesn't have that "thing". You can have all the information in the world and a good ability to explain it, but speaking to crowd preparing for that "thing," it helps to have experienced that "thing" yourself. He's never been led by anyone. The best leaders were once the best followers.

Companies that create quality products that common people can afford.

For the record… I do watch their content. I will say they do offer a lot of really great content knowledge wise. However for a lower middle class guy they also make you feel like shit for not having insane budgets for optics, weapons and what not. I love everything you guys stand for and do. I’ve commented a few times asking if you’re hiring and moving my family across the country to support this endeavor is how much I believe in it. Don’t stop doing what you guys are doing. Most of the big gun tubers are being sponsored. They get alot of those nice things for free from manufactures including ammo to review and name drop on their videos
I know I quiet watching them cause they snobs and say you gonna die if you don't have a dd or kac or the best gear and some people trying to support a family on limited budget I got what mid tier rifle I could afford and some more offordable gear like a budget battle belt but still seems to work very well

I have something to say. 1: I bought my double rifle case from Tacticon and it has been great! I work in Law enforcement and I’m hard on gear and I can honestly say I have beat the hell out of this case and it hasn’t even so much as had a thread fray after several years of hard use. It is outstanding quality! What you guys are doing as a company is outstanding! It’s great to have a veteran owned and operated company that’s putting out quality gear at an affordable price. The people that actually use this stuff in real world environments don’t make a lot of money, like our military and first responders and you guys get that because you’ve lived it. Tacticon Armament definitely has my business and you can know that your gear is holding up in real world environments and I would have no problem helping you guys show that. Anytime a fellow officer is looking for quality new gear on a police officer’s budget I tell them to check out Tacticon Armament and no one has had any complaints. I’m actually about to order a new IWB holster from you guys as well as a new plate carrier.

Making a good holster doesn't mean anything. I have a holster made for basketball shorts and sweatpants and it's the best holster I've personally ever had. And it cost me 5 bucks.

Today it’s no longer a bad phrase to say “Made in China.” There’s not a major US optics manufacturer that produces scopes/red dots in the US for less than $2k. As long as you can maintain quality control I don’t think there’s room for mud slinging from any active brands. - I think this whole video should have just been a “How-To” on using quality tourniquets and just keep on trucking.

Lucas "Boys Pants" Botkins lost all respect in the 2A community swear years ago when Tier One Operators called him out for claiming to train Tier One Teams. I will admit he does shoot good, but anyone here can shoot as good as him if you were given a unlimited ammo supply also.
I've made several purchases from Tacticon and they've all been winners, from a scout light for my SBR to a tourniquet and some other things. I can not stand trex and LB. I'm a Christian but LB hides behind God as if he never does or says anything wrong.
I'm a machinist with 16 years experience in my trade. I received a degree in gunsmithing in 2006. I have worked both my small business for 8 years and a full time job at multiple facilities in 3 different states. As an employee in large souless companies manufacturing for names like Lockheed, Baal,Raytheon,Bae ect. You wouldn't believe how much we source material and parts from foreign sources, cut the final operations or finishing on and then repackage with a made in USA sticker on it. Everyone does it these days. It's the only way to stay competitive and keep pricing down. The only difference is how honest a company is about it. The fact these guys are both producing what matters in house and outsourcing from other vetted companies to keep our prices low is commendable. I'm all for American made being in manufacturing myself but the distance between reality and expectation is disappointment. Let's be honest, for those of us on a budget and trying to put our money where it counts ie ammo for training or a better base weapons platform
the difference between what Tacticon charges for mag puches vs a company like HSGI is vast. If the quality is there I'm just going to be objective about it. Not knocking anyone- just being strait forward.

As far as ive seen Tacticon is true to their mission statement and are exemplary Americans looking to make the difference more usa companies should be looking to make. I appreciate this video. I asked a question of customer service in reference to 2 Tacticon Armament tourniquets that I own vs 1 NAR, 1 Rhino Rescue, and 1 Live The Creed. All 3 from other companies are stamped and marked with the NSN numbers, Tacticon isn't which concerned me because the ones from Tacticon look identical to all the fake ones from Amazon and eBay that lack the marking. Customer service reached out concerning my email and shared this video with me and again I greatly appreciate it. I didn't think honestly that Jake and Hop would intentionally or maliciously sell fake products especially those designed to save life. Great job guys.

Years ago, when I was a brand-new dad, I started saving for a rifle. It took me two years putting some here and there away but I finally got one. I got interested in the second amendment community, and was naturally led to T-Rex arms by the algorithms. After months of watching his content, I asked what an affordable optic option would look like being that it took me a couple of years to save up some money for a rifle on the side and I didn’t want to take away from our budget for our little family when there wasn’t much to go around. His answer was not, “here’s a budget item I can recommend so you can get out there and start training!”
His answer was, and I’m paraphrasing but almost quoting, stop being poor and buy the most expensive optic because this is literally life-saving equipment.
The way he spoke to me with such condescension, I will never, NEVER! purchase from T-Rex arms. Instead, my money goes to companies like Tacticon. Companies like Palmetto State. Because I know what it feels like to be poor. I know what it feels like to want to do the right thing and not be able to afford to do what the “just don’t be poor” crowd recommends.
I’ve never had a failure from Palmetto state. Everything I’ve purchased from Tacticon is top-notch and high quality. So far, I’ve not had a failure from any Tacticon holster, optic (new solar, so… still playing), belt, or carrier…
I’m not an operator. I’m a dad who is trying for his kids and his wife. I’m an American. I purchase from Tacticon.

It's sad that the 2A world is being divided by the elitists, while at the same time, the number one thing we all can't stand is how divided out country is because of elitists.
All I can say is there's a big difference between a healthy profit and greed, and you guys are honest enough to prove that.
As a chinese dude I have a family member working in the medical supplies manufacturer industries in southern china, they export supplies to all over the world in huge quantities, I do not have a number to prove but even before covid, most of what they made has been exported, the production actually ramped up after covid hit and when Russia invaded Ukrain, and their biggest customers are still in America and Europe. Came to the states 10 years ago for middle school, I understand and am sure ppl like to buy stuff made in US, but these are just as good than the things made in the states, and I'm sure, much cheaper. I love my Staccato, love my SW and Ruger revolvers, but almost all my medicines and medical stuff are still from china or made in china, and they work just fine.
I recently found out about you guys and had no idea you were based in California! I think your message that 2A supporters should be working together rather than fighting over stupid stuff is extremely important. I will support you guys as much as I can. Hopefully this stuff with Lucas can end on a positive note.

Nothing but respect for you two, especially openly saying your cost and margins on the IWB holster. It's been long awaited for a company in the 2A community to mention how tech has caught up to product demand/design so something as simple as a light or plastic holster shouldn't be hundreds of dollars. Also how these giant defense or firearm/defense companies are charging ridiculous prices for firearms/accessories/optics because of "R&D" when they've more than recouped the cost, furthermore have streamlines processes making them more efficient. How much "R&D" can a red dot, holster, or TQ require?

I have been slowly becoming jaded with Lucas and his message ove the past few years of "dont be poor" its becoming kind of obvious hes losing his touch with the common man how only makes 40000 a year and most of that goes to just keeping a house and food on the table. I bought a 20 dollar tourniquet when I was in the military. It was modeled after the “CAT”. I did my final evaluation for train the trainer on tourniquet application. Every student (probably 20) had to utilize it as part of my evaluation. I still have that tourniquet and I keep it handy to this day. It has probably been used at least 100 times and performs flawless.
Totally agree that a fucking flashlight shouldn’t cost as much as the firearm it’s mounted to.
I just took and passed a stop the bleed class back in July. I took an ifak I bought from you guys and the spare tq I have to the class and it was all the same stuff they had there and were showing us.
I really don’t think TRex is some money hungry company that you try to make them out to be. Take their hinge for the sidecar holster. Not only did they not patent it, but they made it open source and desire other manufacturers to utilize it as they wish. They have tons of open source data available. That doesn’t seem like a company that is simply money hungry.
Nothing lucas says means anything to me you guys have sold quality products for a price the working man can afford if it wasn't for tacticon, psa, and radical id be SOL. Thanks for everything you guys have done especially for me!💪💪

Most of my gear is either T Rex Arms or Tacticon Armament. I found ya'll after T Rex Arms, but with the products i've purchased so far, I'm very happy. Knowing this is how the other company treated ya'll doesn't sit right with me. I still love the products I have from them, but i'll think twice now before I decide to go straight to them.
I'm beyond excited for my plate carrier to get here soon from ya'll.

Gonna hold off on ALL equipment purchases for my guns until they are available from you guys. Gen 5 Glock 20 concealment holster (pretty please). VNSH will work for now, but I'll be waiting for sure. I’m not a gun expert but yes I definitely agree some of the prices are definitely over priced. You see a mount from a well known company that produces the mount for $300 with 7075 aluminum then you have a not known company make a mount very similar to it with 7075 aluminum and charges half. I feel like it’s the name that your paying for not the actual product at this point
Well, NAR CAT tq’s have been through the ringer by NIH and several other institutions. They have proven that they are the gold standard, similarly to plates being NIJ certified. The Chinese tq’s that you guys offer, haven’t been approved by any agency or institution. I’ve used Chinese tq’s for training purposes only and have seen a fair share of failures. It’s usually the type of plastic used on the windlass and windlass base, as well as the nylon attachment to the plastic that fails. I’ve also used older gen NAR CATs for training and never had a failure. I support you guys for what you do, but that’s the truth
Fair, but the point of the podcast wasn't to say cat tq's are bad. By all means they are the standard. They have earned their reputation. We are not trying to justify all other tq's we are shedding light on a false claim about the tq we make.
kudos for bringing this subject up, I never understood why some gun mounts cost as much as a Glock. Aluminum can only go so far and is very cheap.
