Point Fortin highway - 50 years in the making, here at last

The Point Fortin to San Fernando Highway, the most extensive highway project ever undertaken in the nation's history, is now officially open.
Named the Archibald De Leon Highway in tribute to esteemed ex-footballers Warren Archibald and Leroy De Leon, this achievement realizes a vision over half a century in the making.
Our team of Radhica De Silva and Ivan Toolsie explored communities in the Southwestern Peninsula to assess whether the highway is meeting public expectations.
