- According to James Chapter 5, rich people should be sad -- but why? This week, Pastor Ben Stuart explains what James really means when he cautions the wealthy to watch where we place our value. The more we love money, the less we love people. At the end of the day, the issue isn’t about money at all, but about our hearts. When we see and experience the generosity of God, it changes our priorities and our posture to extend that generosity to others.

Like a sailor on turbulent seas, we need to look up and see the North Star: the fixed points in the sky whereby we might navigate the objective realities in life. We need the skill-set to know how to journey through life and how to select the right people to journey alongside. In this book we will chart a course through the four relational phases that the vast majority of human beings on the planet will pass through in their twenties: singleness, dating, engaged and married. In each of these phases, we will look at what eternal purposes should be pursued in each stage, and how to pursue them.
SINGLENESS: DEVOTION
DATING: EVALUATION
ENGAGED: UNIFICATION
MARRIED: MISSION

This is 😊 great!
I came across Ben Stuart a few months back. God has truly blessed him. He truly has a awesome way preaching. I can't wait for more of his messages.
I know he had already moved when I started attending the church he copreached at here in Houston. Everyone told me how good he was. I started watching his sermons from faith bridge and his a and m ministries. He had come back here to preach twice and I got to hear him in person. God has truly given him a gift.
Same here. So happy I came across this on UA-cam. Changed my life.
bLessed BLESSSED BLESSED! Ty Jesus Ty Passion DC!!!!
Amen !! Thank you for this amazing word from God.
A GREAT teaching!!!
I love your preaching Pastor Ben. May God keep blessings you, your family and your church. I am happy that God pointed me to your videos. They have helped me to walk with the Lord.
I love the integrity of this preacher and I so appreciate that I can trust that each sermon he preaches centers wholly around worshipping and drawing closer to Jesus. I've heard certain churches repeatedly use that verse "where your treasure is, there your heart will also be" each Sunday to make the point of giving to the church, and while I am all for tithing and I believe giving to the church is a good thing, it's made me a bit jaded because that's clearly not the purpose of why that verse was written. I'm not a pastor but I can tell that verse goes so much deeper than money, and I want to know more about what Jesus meant. I am so happy that the centrality of this sermon is so much deeper than that. No person or church is perfect but in a time in our country where its so difficult to trust big-name churches because of so much corruption coming to light, its wonderful to know there's a church I can tune in to that is solely interested in bringing its listeners closer to God and expanding Jesus's message of salvation , loving God and others, and right living to all those who hear.
I don’t know if this is weird but I binged watched this sermon series this week/weekend and it’s been amazing!!
Me too!
this series is so very applicable in 2020!
What gets me is how this sermon had 1.2k views and only 40 likes
I'm sad this series will be over soon. I wonder if one day, one day long off, I could come to PCDC and after the service meet some of you.
God bless you Ben love you're preaching from the heart. You deliver Gods message clearly and you are jokes as well Haha love it. God loves a cheerful giver!
