Ambleside Online Update: How The First 2 Weeks Went

This is our first year using Ambleside Online with years 1, 3, & 4. We've been very eclectic in the past and this year I knew I wanted to switch over to Charlotte Mason methods. We discovered AO, and after 1-2 months of gathering books for 3 levels, we just dove in. I'm hoping to give you a realistic look at our first 2 weeks!
Here's what we covered, what we didn't, what I hope to add in, and how we knew what to do each day. Through trial and error, we made it.
I dropped a couple of AO books and am using Simply Charlotte Mason's Genesis through Deuteronomy study in our morning time which overlaps bible/history/geography in a really gentle way. So we basically have 2 history streams going, and if it's way too much I'll adjust.
I think a Timeline and Book Of Centuries is key to making these history connections! We didn't start a Timeline yet but need to ASAP.
This is our first year doing narrations, and I'm SO proud of my kids for trying. It's hard, and we'll spend this year figuring it out.
