after our new year party ended, i started my own 2024 by playing this song. this song is timeless, and will continue to age fine like wine. happy new year, everyone.
hello everyone, i just turned 18. my first day of college just ended and i'm in my dormitory, laying down in bed and about to fall asleep. tally hall is such a special band to me, and it's unarguably the only band i'll ever fall in love with. i've got nothing else to say. good night.
I’m here because I was cleaning out documents and found a note from my earliest lovers. She recommended this song and, unfortunately, I only got around to listening to it now. How time ends up moving past.. I can see why she liked this song though.
@@lamb6549 they arent the same at all mate, like I mean I guess the synth keyboard is kind of similar and the vocals are similar but the rest is almost completely different, especially Andrew’s part and the soft ukulele/guitar thing at the end
Listening to this makes me really, really, miss these guys, even though I know they're still making music in some capacity. This is just such good classic Tally Hall.
I have such a strange fondness for this song. Even though it reminds me of a 60s American prom, I actually mostly associate it with France. In October 2016 I went on a school trip to paris and i didnt realize I wouldn't have data to listen to music on the bus rides around the city. All I had were the 2 demo albums and I think that one song Rob did for intel. I listened to this song on repeat, along with go, and they're still my favourite tally hall songs to this day. I just remember a completely peaceful feeling on that bus, looking at all these new surroundings. I'll be going again in 2019 or 2020 and I'm making sure that I have the two demo albums on my phone, even if free eu roaming is a thing now. This song means so much to me because of that trip.

Honestly, Tally Hall was a such a great band. It changed my life, because I was suffering from depression and I have leukemia. One time I started to listening to Tally Hall and I've never regret it, I've watched the internet shows, concerts, music videos. It was fun to watch. If you're looking for something that makes your day a slight better. Listen to Tally Hall.
(I Know) It´s Just The Same is a song about a guy reluctant to ask a girl to dance, and questions if his feelings are true or just a one night feeling. The song pays homage to 1960’s ballads with its instrumentals and lyrics.
Even now in 2023 i think tally hall is a unique experience of a band , and that no one could ever replicate that just truly amazing feeling by listening to every song. I just wish they would come back together as a band so i wont have to cry myself knowing theyre last concert was 12 years ago.
I also think that this song is (unknowingly) a metaphor for tally hall as a band today and that with the right circumstances that tally hall could've been active today, but with everyone wanting to pursue their own dreams and because of joe hawleys actions it just couldnt be. And that the tally hall community thinks about tally hall a lot and even if they come back or not they will still love the band forever. I just hope the best for every band member and every person in the tally hall community.
andrew is such a musical genius. if you want something solemn, something that hits deep right in your soul, andrew takes place. on the other hand, if you want something crazy, something that would make you feel heard, joe takes place. both of them write such good songs.
I never comment on UA-cam videos, but there's something about this song. I used to listen to it alone in my room, a bored 15 year old. Now I'm out on my own and tomorrow, this song will be playing when I tell this perfect girl how I feel.

There’s this guy I like that introduced me to Tally Hall back in the fall. I’m obsessed with the band’s music now, of course. This song somewhat describes how things were back in the fall before the two of us started talking more. I absolutely love the doo-wop style of this piece.
Just had a dream my crush confessed his love to me with this song and then I woke up and it felt so real and I had to hear this song for the first time in a while and it hits very hard now
There’s something so sullen and solemn here. It’s like a beautiful sorrow. I haven’t looked at the lyrics but I imagine it’s someone dying, reminiscing of their lover…unable to see them for one last time. They’ve gone through much together and it’s over without a goodbye, but there’s something triumphant about being able to think of that special someone as the life leaves them. And beyond that there’s something more beautifully sorrowful here, something I can’t put into words. I’m just gonna cry here for a bit.
This song somehow makes me incredibly sad. Missed opportunities are super scary. Now I read all comments on this video and for some odd reason, that makes me feel better lol
This song reminds me of a time in my life with a love that was lost to circumstance. We just never found the right time, and I’ll spend the rest of my life wondering what could’ve been.

Been coming back to this song a lot this past month. Feelings are complicated.
Man, I love this song.
This is hands down the best unreleased tally hall song. Maybe best tally hall song in general
I've never been even remotely in love but when I get my heart broken at one point or another I'm ready to blast this shit
It's time :))))
@@pho_is_not_interesting 3 months late but dang hope you r ok
This sounds like it's fully completed, I wish this was on one of their albums. Hopefully one day we'll get a completed version on a new album.
Growing up listening to them, starting in like mainly middle school, i cant tell if tallyhall has influenced who/what kind of vibe im attracted to now or if listening to them was just an effect of my fuzzy feelings lmao

More evidence that 6/8 songs that are more than 4 mins are peak.

Idk who all of them are but I love them already.

@@gamingbatonrayalmighty1729 I spent the year after making this comment slowly getting to know Tally Hall and its members better and I have to say you are absolutely right.
@@anactualbird6801 this comment you made is one of the very few that wasn’t bombarded with “Tally Hall Stans” saying “WelL ACTUALLY ThEsE HunKs ArE TaLLy hALl, hAhHahahHah aNdrEw, RosS, RoB, ZUBES (LolOlOlOllL), and JoE OOmG So HoT!”
