Important update!: It has been brought to our attention that there is an easy mistake that has been made in this video. At 8:08 and other scenes where it shows the flattener/reducer, The flattener/reducer is mistakenly backward in this video. The threads are the same on both ends, however, the long thick part should be pointing to the front of the telescope and the optical lens should be exposed in the back facing towards the filter vault and your camera*. *Sorry about this mistake. Your telescope will come with its correct orientation so this only applies to those who feel the need to take out the flattener/reducer. - Mack Murdoc
Yet another Sharpstar 61 🤷🏻♂️ But more expensive …
but now it is black.
😂😂😂😂
@@renegossel5139 ...and more expensive! :) Its made for US!!
This one hurts. OPT has always been good to me in the past, but unfortunately, this video puts your credibility in question.
Full frame ya right. It's has a 80% vignette at the edge of a 35mm sensor. Sure the stars are sharp but they are so faint it's useless. Better to use a APCS sensor or smaller.
Mack in his natural element🌌 ✨️🔭 absolutely love it!
just unsubscribed.
Killer upgrade!!!
Hey There.. I am a total beginner .. and looking to buy a telescope .. (something that can keep me busy for a long time ) and I do have interest in photography as well.. After search for days I found Orion 8″ f/3.9 Newtonian Astrograph Reflector Telescope pretty convincing.. need your review on that.. will be very helpful.. or if you can suggest few other telescopes that would be great..
Hello!
I want to assemble a spotting scope with a good viewing angle, fast aperture and 60x magnification. There are 2 achromat lenses to choose from:
1) diameter 100mm F600mm
2) diameter 100mm F900mm
Eyepieces:
1) Celestron f10mm 50⁰
2) Celestron f15mm 50⁰ respectively
Question:
In which option at a magnification of 60x will there be a better viewing angle and detail
Thanks
With some time in this hobby, I'm really sad to learn (finally) how much OPT is so egregiously overstating their involvement with this telescope. I bought it. I'm using it. But, I feel I can no longer trust the brand given their plagiarism. Being a reseller is a good and acceptable thing, however, taking credit for someone else's work is not. I'd recommend Sharpstar to anyone new to astrophotography to get a quality product at several hundred dollars less.
i go with ed80 from orion i carbon over this. bigger scope and better optic for the same price
It's not the same speed at f/7.5...
@@alanalain4884 the triplet is f6, but radien at 4.5 is not good. you can easy get false color with 4.5 and the 61 have not fpl-53. its not good deal even for a apo. many blow speed up as the most importent thing ever, its not
Could you describe to us the images taken with this scope at the end of the video, please? How deep will this telescope look into the skies above us? Please provide examples of the deepest space images that this telescope can afford us. Thank you.
Fantastic, answered so many questions- keep up the great work!!
I seen this before hehe
Awesome Rundown OPT!
nicee. is this a reupload or is it another run?
What happened to space junk
Will this work on a canon t7i?
yes. it is a simply standart scope.
only a little black paint and extremly expensive.
@@renegossel5139 Thank you!
@@renegossel5139 High quality Matte black, as requested by Trevor Jones. So the price is fair. Wait! You're using it in the dark. Too bad you won't see the quality of the finish.
